In the dim light, Xie Jing looked at Shang Song again.

Inside the rolled-up blanket, only a little bit of her fluffy hair was showing; she slept like a giant doll.

Xie Jing did not try to pull at the blanket that had been taken away.

The air conditioner was blowing warm air, and the indoor temperature wasn't low.

He simply moved a little closer to where Shang Song was, and then closed his eyes again.

However, not long after, perhaps because he was wrapped up too tightly, Shang Song felt too hot in his sleep. He mumbled something and began to fidget restlessly, pulling at the blanket with his hands and kicking with his feet.

He kicked off the blanket that was covering him.

The pajamas, which were only hastily buttoned at the top, had their necklines wide open, revealing a large expanse of warm skin.

The air conditioner display screen was dimly lit, but it could still vaguely outline the fair chest and the flat stomach beneath the hem of her clothes.

Xie Jing looked at it for a while, then glanced at the temperature on the air conditioner display screen. He then reached out, gently pinched the blanket that Shang Song had kicked off, and carefully covered Shang Song with it again.

After doing all this, he pulled back the few remaining blankets and covered himself with them.

He remained lying on his side, while Shang Song turned slightly towards him. Because the two were very close at this moment, his hand, under the blanket, naturally rested on Shang Song's back.

Even through the thin layer of pajamas, Shang Song's body heat emanated continuously.

He felt the warm, slightly undulating shoulders and back beneath his palm.

There was no rejection, and certainly no disgust.

In fact, he wanted to touch more of Shang Song's products.

Without much hesitation, he slowly raised his hand from that warm shoulder and back, moved it, and gently placed it on the stray hairs by Shang Song's ear.

Soft, dry, with a light, fresh shampoo scent.

His fingertips traced the curve of Shang Song's jawline, gently brushing across the smooth skin at the base of her ear, before resting on Shang Song's neck.

Warm, delicate, pulsating with the powerful heartbeat of youth.

My fingertips brushed against the pulsating pulse, meandering downwards to the collarbone.

The skin there envelops delicate joints, making it feel firmer to the touch.

Not enough, far from enough.

He wanted to touch more.

He knew he was taking advantage of Shang Song's ignorance and doing despicable things, which went against his consistent principles.

But Shang Song was asleep.

His touch was safe.

He needed to touch, to feel, to satisfy his long-suppressed desires.

His fingertips, no longer content to linger on the well-proportioned collarbone, trembled slightly as they parted the collar of Shang Song's pajamas and slid down to a slightly lower area.

The top button of the pajamas was undone, easily revealing a large expanse of warm skin.

Xie Jing's movements were slow and gentle; beneath his fingertips, the young man's chest was warm, enveloping his regularly beating heart.

He gently placed his warm palm on the heartbeat.

One sound after another, the rhythm steady, carrying the tranquility unique to sleep.

But his own heartbeat had long since gone out of control.

Xie Jing closed his eyes, then slowly opened them again.

The darkness in his eyes was so intense that it couldn't be dispersed, revealing not a glimmer of light.

After an unknown amount of time, Xie Jing's palm finally left that warm chest.

His fingertips trembled as he gently pinched the shell button on Shang Song's pajamas.

With a slight movement of the fingertips, the button was undone.

The first one.

The second one.

Before going to bed, Shang Song only buttoned two buttons.

Xie Jing did not lift his clothes, but simply let them hang loosely.

Then, his hand reached in again.

A warm chest, a flat stomach, and a flexible waist.

He felt the warmth of the skin, the shape of the bones, and the pulse of life inch by inch.

After an unknown amount of time, Xie Jing's movements slowly came to a stop.

Then, he lowered his head and placed his burning lips on Shang Song's forehead, planting a fiery kiss.

The hand that lingered on Shang Song's side finally moved away with great reluctance.

After removing it, he began to do something completely opposite to his previous fervor.

He lowered his head and, in the dim light, meticulously buttoned up Shang Song's pajamas.

One after another.

Even on the pajamas, every button was fastened perfectly.

Then, very slowly, he moved his body away from Shang Song.

He lay back down, closed his eyes, and took deep breaths to regulate his breathing.

The newly replaced plain-colored curtains swayed gently in the warm air continuously supplied by the air conditioner.

The light from beyond the sky gradually turned a deep blue.

……

When Shang Song woke up, it was already broad daylight outside.

The faint sound of a spatula clattering against a wok could be heard from outside the door; it was Shang's mother making breakfast.

He stared blankly at the ceiling, both strange and familiar, before suddenly remembering that he was at home, in his room…

Xie Jing!

He suddenly turned his head to look to his side.

The seat next to me was empty.

The blanket was partially lifted, leaving faint marks on the pillowcase.

Xie Jing has already gotten up.

Shang Song breathed a sigh of relief. The first night had passed peacefully just like that?

He shook his head, rubbed his eyes, and sat up.

He lay on the bed in a daze for a while, then slowly climbed out of bed, yawning, slipping on his slippers, and opened the door.

The living room window was already open, and Xie Jing sat on one side of the sofa by the window, holding a book in his hand.

The morning light streamed in from his side and behind, bathing him in a soft glow and making him look exceptionally handsome.

It looks strangely beautiful, completely out of place in this old living room.

But he actually sat there, quietly turning the pages of the book.

Hearing the door open, Xie Jing looked up from his book and calmly looked over.

"Good morning," he said first, his voice as calm as ever, revealing nothing unusual.

"Good morning." Shang Song scratched his messy, sleep-grown hair and smiled a little sheepishly. "You're up so early? Didn't you sleep well?"

"You slept very well." Xie Jing's gaze lingered for a moment on the top button of his pajamas before returning to the pages of his book. "It's just that I'm used to waking up early."

"Oh, that's good. I'll go wash up." Shang Song felt that Xie Jing seemed a little different this morning?

But he couldn't quite put his finger on what was different. In the end, he just assumed he was still half asleep, scratched his head, and wandered into the bathroom, closing the door behind him.

He held a toothbrush in his mouth and looked at himself in the mirror.

Looking at myself in the mirror, I was sleepy-eyed and my hair was all messy, which was perfectly normal.

But... why are the buttons on my pajamas buttoned up so perfectly?!

Even the very top button, which he never buttoned because he thought it was too tight, was now obediently sitting in the buttonhole!

He clearly remembered that last night he was so nervous that he only randomly knocked out the two middle ones!

He subconsciously raised his hand and touched the row of neatly buttoned buttons.

Did I fasten it while I was half asleep?

Impossible. He knows his own sleeping posture. It's good enough that he doesn't move.

So... Xie Jing buttoned his shirt?!

When? Was it when Xie Jing woke up this morning? Or after he fell asleep last night?!

So... Xie Jing watched him sleep last night? And even touched his clothes?!

How did you touch it?!

The young man in the mirror slowly widened his eyes, his mouth opened into an "O", and he almost dropped the toothbrush he was holding.

"Songsong! Are you ready to wash up? Come out for breakfast!" Shang's mother's voice came through the door, interrupting Shang Song's increasingly drifting thoughts.

"Hey! Coming!" Shang Song responded quickly and hurriedly washed up.

After he finished washing his face, he looked at his flushed face in the mirror and suddenly grinned, revealing a slightly silly smile.

who cares.

Anyway, it must have been Xie Jing who deducted the money from his account.

How you deducted the points doesn't matter at all!

He likes them all anyway!
