There was a knock on the door.

She threw off the blanket, got out of bed, opened the door to the room, and saw a maid standing in the doorway, holding a cup or something in her hand.

"Miss Gu, Fourth Master asked me to bring you some hangover tea," the maid said.

"Where is your Fourth Master?" Gu Zhihua asked, peeking into the doorway of the next room.

"Fourth Master has already gone out and won't be back until tonight," the maid replied.

She breathed a sigh of relief. Thank goodness she was out the door; she didn't have to face him for now. How awkward!

She took the hangover tea from the maid and said, "Thank you."

"Miss Gu, please don't be so polite. Lunch has been prepared. Fourth Master said that you should eat on time," the maid said.

"Okay, I understand. I'll wash up and change and then come downstairs." Gu Zhihua smiled.

The maid turned and went downstairs. She took the hangover tea into the room. She didn't expect Mo Yeting to be so thoughtful, arranging everything for her.

Thinking of her biological parents, she had never received such care from them until she left the Song family. They always prepared the dishes that Song Mianmian liked. Thinking of this, she revealed a sarcastic smile.

She took a shower, washed up, and changed her clothes before going downstairs.

A sumptuous feast has been prepared in the dining room.

Gu Zhihua blushed, realizing the maid had misunderstood her. She smiled and said, "Okay."

After lunch, she didn't go upstairs. She had been cooped up in her room for the past two days, feeling like a bird trapped in a cage.

She walked out of the villa.

She saw two wolfhounds not far away, and when they saw her, they ran over.

She was terrified and quickly ran back to the villa, hiding by the door and peeking out.

The two wolfhounds also looked completely bewildered. They stopped and sat down a short distance away, tilting their heads to look at her.

"Miss Gu, what's going on?" Butler Mo appeared behind her.

Gu Zhihua was startled. Butler Mo was still very elusive. "I want to go for a walk in the garden. I'm scared when I see those two wolfhounds."

"Miss Gu, don't be afraid, they won't attack you." Butler Mo thought to himself, you are the Fourth Master's darling, those two dogs can read people, how dare they be fierce to you.

"Really?" She was still very scared.

"I can assure you, they are very intelligent and human-like," Butler Mo assured him.

"Okay, I'll give it a try." She stepped out of the villa and cautiously tested the waters.

When the two wolfhounds saw her come out, they stood up and wagged their tails, but did not rush at her.

But she was still afraid and dared not continue walking. She always felt that the wolfhound would rush over and tear her to pieces at any moment.

"Miss Gu, don't be afraid. Look, they're wagging their tails; that's a sign of friendliness," said Butler Mo.

They're smart enough to know their place. If they dared to bite you, they'd probably be stewed by Fourth Master tonight, Butler Mo thought to himself.

Gu Zhihua also noticed that they were wagging their tails and seemed to have become much more docile. She tried taking a few more steps.

Butler Mo walked over, squatted down next to the two dogs, and patted their heads. "Miss Gu, look how well-behaved they are. They won't hurt you. Try gently patting their heads."
