Border Prisoner: The Mad Boss Seduces Her Every Night

Chapter 261 "No wonder Lulu dared to play tricks on me tonight."

The light in the dark room kept changing.

The bluish-purple light strip on the display case coiled slowly like a snake, while the blue-green bedside lamps flickered on and off, making the whole room feel like it was immersed in a bizarre and dazzling electronic sea.

The air was filled with the fragrance of silk, an ambiguous scent that mingled with the warm, sweet aroma of the velvet bedding. The scent was damp and heavy, like some kind of invisible glue, enveloping Shi Luyu completely.

When Xu Yuanjia's lips touched hers, his words from earlier were still echoing in her mind.

Shi Luyu's face flushed crimson instantly, burning from her ears all the way to her collarbone, as if someone had poured boiling water over her head.

Shame felt like countless needles piercing her skin, the pain making it hard for her to breathe.

In the intervals between his kisses, she desperately turned her face away, her lips brushing against his lower lip and sliding to the side, her voice hoarse and trembling, almost squeezed out from her throat.

"You bastard..." she cursed at him.

But those two words were soft and weak, still damp from the kiss, and had no intimidating power whatsoever.

"Don't even think about having a baby..."

Xu Yuanjia's lips hovered at the corner of her mouth. After listening to her scolding, he was not angry at all, but instead chuckled softly.

The laughter emanated from her chest and penetrated her bones.

"Okay, brother doesn't want to." He said casually, as if he were coaxing a sulking child.

Just as Shi Luyu was about to breathe a sigh of relief, she heard him add another sentence.

"Brother will just do it with you..."

The last syllable of "love" was swallowed by his kiss.

Xu Yuanjia took her lower lip into his mouth again and sucked on it gently.

This kiss, compared to the previous ones, wasn't even fierce; instead, it carried a slow, teasing quality, like a cat playing with a bird it had already caught.

His tongue slid across her lips, tasting her flavor, then withdrew half an inch, his breath warming her lips, as if waiting for her to open them first.

Shi Luyu tensed up completely.

She instinctively tried to push him away again, her hands already pressed against his chest, her fingertips gripping the lapel of his black suit so tightly that her nails dug into the fabric.

But the hand on the back of her head was pressing so firmly that she couldn't move at all. She could only tilt her head back and passively endure it, her eyelashes trembling so much they almost brushed against his face.

Xu Yuanjia's kiss was slow and he didn't rush. His other hand had somehow already hooked the hem of her suspenders, and his fingertips brushed against her waist as if they were a cold snake sliding across her skin.

"Wait, wait a minute!!" Shi Luyu almost instinctively reached out to grab his fingers.

She grabbed his fingers, gripping them tightly, her fingertips trembling.

Those long eyelashes blinked rapidly, trembling wetly, their eyes reflecting the bluish-purple light filling the room, like glass covered with a layer of water, clear and bright.

Yet, she also possessed a touch of delicate timidity born from being pushed to the limit.

Her words of refusal rolled out of her throat, soft yet urgent.

It sounded more like she was pleading, "Tonight...not tonight..."

Xu Yuanjia's hand remained there, his fingertips still hooking the corner of her halter top, and he didn't move again.

He didn't rush to pull his hand away from hers, but slowly lowered his eyes and gazed at her.

In the dimly lit room, his eyes appeared exceptionally deep and bright amidst the interplay of blue and orange-red shadows, revealing a kind of unsettling suspicion.

"Not tonight?" he repeated, his voice low and even a little lazy.

"Hmm..." Shi Luyu rubbed her nose against the fine fleece of the quilt and nodded in a muffled voice.

Half of her face was buried in the white velvet, with only her wet eyes and the tips of her red ears showing, like a little animal burrowing into the snow.

Xu Yuanjia raised his head slightly.

His eyelids were thin and slightly lowered as he looked down at her from above.

A very slight smile slowly curved her lips, a smile that was both nonchalant and meaningful: "What's wrong with it?"

Shi Luyu turned her back to him and buried her face even deeper into the blankets.

She was wearing only a thin tank top, with a large portion of her back exposed to the light. The bluish-purple light fell down, making her bony shoulder blades look like two thin wings.

She remained silent for a long time before speaking in a very, very soft voice:

"I've started my period..."

The sound was soft and delicate, as if it were seeping from the downy surface of a blanket, with a slight, almost imperceptible tremor.

Xu Yuanjia remained silent.

The man's previously nonchalant expression faltered for a moment. His eyelashes drooped, and he stared at her for several seconds, as if trying to determine whether her words were true or false.

Immediately, he frowned slightly between his brows.

The dark and frantic emotions that had been in his eyes just moments before gradually subsided, leaving only an unexpected silence.

After a long pause, Xu Yuanjia's Adam's apple bobbed, and he clicked his tongue softly.

The dark room suddenly fell silent. Only the row of blue-green lamps by the bedside continued to glow and dim, casting the shadows of the two people on the wall, overlapping into a blurry mass.

He gradually narrowed his eyes. In the darkness, those eyes resembled those of a snake, vertical, cold and deep.

He never looked away.

That gaze fell heavily on her, the silence almost suffocating. Time seemed to stretch on endlessly, and a fine shiver gradually rose on the back of Shi Luyu's neck. Even her heartbeat became clear in the excessive silence, each beat heavier than the last.

She dared not turn around, and could only bury her face deeper into the blankets, her shoulders and back stiff, her fingers secretly clenching the soft sheets beneath her, almost able to feel his gaze still fixed there.

The silence lasted for a long time.

Suddenly, Xu Yuanjia lowered his head and chuckled without warning:

"ha!"

A very short sound abruptly shattered the silence of the room.

Shi Luyu's shoulders twitched violently. Before she could turn around, the suppressed laughter behind her completely spiraled out of control.

"Hahahahahahaha!"

Xu Yuanjia seemed to finally be unable to hold back, and a low laugh reverberated from his chest.

He turned his face away, his shoulders trembling slightly with laughter, and the oppressive, suffocating feeling from before vanished in an instant.

A morbid and eerie laugh, squeezed from deep in the throat, one after another.

Laughter echoed in the dark room, hitting the cold, hard walls, and bouncing back, layer upon layer, the lingering sound reverberating.

The bluish-purple light pulsated slightly with the laughter, as if startled by his voice.

The bluish-purple light inside the figurine display case flickered with the laughter, and the glass surface gleamed with a cold, eerie luster.

Inside, rows of small wooden puppets are displayed.

They were sitting quietly, their postures almost stiff. Their pale wooden faces all faced the same direction, the corners of their mouths carved into a slight upward curve, and their dark eye sockets all tightly closed. At first glance, they were just exquisitely crafted collectibles.

The instant Xu Yuanjia's laughter rang out—

The puppet in the very center of the top layer suddenly twitched its eyelids.

Click.

They opened their eyes.

Then the second one... the third one...

Something invisible seemed to spread rapidly along the cabinet shelves, and the sound of tiny wooden joints breaking one after another rang out.

Click, click, click...

A pair.

Two pairs.

More than a dozen pairs.

All the puppets opened their eyes at the same time.

His dark pupils remained motionless, staring intently at the two people on the bed through the dark blue glass.

Xu Yuanjia was still smiling.

The wooden puppets in the cabinet just stared at each other with the same eerie smile on their lips, as if they had been awakened from a long slumber by his laughter, or as if they had always been awake.

Shi Luyu felt a chill run down her spine from the man's laughter, and she couldn't help but turn her head to look at him.

Xu Yuanjia was still smiling. He was half-kneeling on her, one hand still pressing on the back of her head, while the other hand that she had been holding had somehow been pulled out and was now resting on the mattress beside her face.

He tilted his head back, his neck elongated, and his Adam's apple bobbed up and down in the bluish-green light.

Her face was flushed from laughing, but instead of looking disheveled, it exuded a kind of almost manic beauty.

Looks like a ghost.

Like a damp male ghost wearing a beautiful human skin, laughing above her.

Shi Luyu felt a chill run down her spine, as if hundreds of tiny insects were crawling on her back.

In her shock, she forgot to loosen her grip on his fingers and instead instinctively clenched them even tighter, her knuckles turning white.

Her mouth was slightly open, her breathing was extremely shallow, and she dared not make a sound, like a little bird pinned down by a snake.

"What are you laughing at?" Shi Luyu heard her own tense voice.

Xu Yuanjia laughed for a long time, his voice gradually softening.

The next second, the man's laughter stopped abruptly, as if someone had cut it off.

Xu Yuanjia slowly lowered his head.

A smile still lingered on his lips, but the smile had already cooled, like a glass of water slowly freezing.

His face was cold and gloomy, his eyes were extremely sinister, and there was a faint but dangerous light flashing in his eyes, so dark that it seemed to suck people in.

"No wonder," he said lazily.

His voice was slightly hoarse after laughing, and the last syllable was drawn out lazily, yet it was so cold it made your bones ache.

"No wonder you dared to play me tonight." His gaze fell on Shi Luyu's face, like two thin blades scraping her cheeks until they hurt.

"No wonder Lulu dares to play with those jerks in the game at home, but 'kindly' arranges for me to go on dates with other women."

He spoke slowly, each word seemingly ground out from between his teeth.

Shi Luyu's face turned pale instantly. She opened her mouth, wanting to say something, but it felt like someone was choking her, and she couldn't make a sound.

Xu Yuanjia paused slightly, then chuckled sarcastically. The laugh was light and airy, coming out of his nose, carrying a chilling mockery.

"I thought..."

His gaze slowly slid down her face, as if trying to see something else through her body.

"Are you deliberately trying to pick a fight with me?"
