Shi Luyu lay on her back on the bed, her eyes bright and watery from the alcohol.

She looked at Xu Yuanjia, who was leaning on her, and suddenly reached out and poked his chest.

"I know," she said, her voice as soft as melted candy. "I'm going to bully my brother."

Xu Yuanjia raised an eyebrow, propped himself up above her, and didn't move.

"You were just saying you wanted to coax your brother, and now you're bullying him?" He slowly lowered his head, his nose brushing against hers. "Is being your lover this unlucky?"

Shi Luyu pouted, her drunken face filled with resentment:

"Brother is the one who falsely accuses others."

She raised her hand, pinched his cheek, and pulled it outwards. "Being a brother's lover... that's really unlucky."

Xu Yuanjia's face was being pulled, making his speech a little muffled, but his tone remained lazy and alluring: "Tell me, where did you have bad luck?"

Shi Luyu let go of her hand and counted on her fingers: "You always bully me."

"Sometimes you speak in a teasing, exaggerated way."

"You're so jealous, you even get jealous of girls, you're so petty."

"I know, it's all just to get my attention."

She hiccuped and broke off another finger. "Sometimes...sometimes she does...something outrageous to me."

Xu Yuanjia chuckled softly, his fingers tracing her cheek, his thumb slowly sliding from her cheekbone to the corner of her mouth, his voice trailing off with a hint of guidance: "So...?"

"So I'm going to get my revenge!" Shi Luyu said confidently, her voice louder than usual due to her drunkenness.

Xu Yuanjia smiled with satisfaction, lowered his head, and pressed his lips against her earlobe. "I'm right here." His voice was as soft as a sigh.

"Pick as many as you like, my dear."

Shi Luyu pounced on him and bit his neck.

It had nothing to do with gentle kisses; it was purely biting, teeth sinking into the skin, mumbling and feigning fierceness as he said, "Don't call me 'good girl,' I'm not good today."

Xu Yuanjia let her bite him. Her teeth weren't sharp enough to draw blood, leaving only a shallow tooth mark.

He raised his hand and touched the mark, chuckling softly, "So you get bolder when you're drunk."

Shi Luyu lifted her head from the crook of his neck, looking at him with hazy, drunken eyes. The alcohol emboldened her, and she pushed herself upwards.

"I've got something even bolder up my sleeve!" she puffed out her chest. "Come on!"

"For example?" he asked curiously.

Shi Luyu took a deep breath and spoke in a loud voice, as if answering a question in class: "Make love!"

Xu Yuanjia was stunned for a moment.

Then he laughed, his eyes crinkling into crescents, with a hint of red at the corners.

He reached out and pinched her cheek, squeezing her pouting lips into a small circle.

"Okay. I'll wash up and serve you." He released her hand, his thumb lingering on her lower lip. "I hope you won't forget those two words you said."

Shi Luyu, intoxicated by the alcohol, couldn't stop talking nonsense: "Why wash? We can wash together after we're done."

Xu Yuanjia's eyes instantly darkened.

He reached out to grab her waist, but she suddenly rolled over, rolled into the blanket, wrapped herself up tightly, and lay face down on the pillow, motionless.

The bedroom was quiet for a few seconds.

Xu Yuanjia looked at the bulge in the blanket and chuckled, "Paper tiger."

He turned and went into the bathroom, where the sound of running water filled the air.

The bathroom door was closed, and the sound of water continued for a while, then stopped after twenty minutes. Xu Yuanjia came out, his hair wet and his clothes covered in water droplets.

He glanced at the bed, where the blankets were pulled back, the pillow was askew to one side, and there was a dent in it.

The person is not here.

He turned and looked around the bedroom; nothing. He went to the living room; nothing. The kitchen; nothing either.

The balcony curtains were blown up by the wind, leaving the space behind them empty. He stood in the hallway, looking down into the entryway. Her pretty canvas shoes were still next to the shoe cabinet, leaning to one side, one on top of the other.

The little drunkard didn't run away; he's still at home.

Xu Yuanjia draped a towel over his shoulder, leaned against the wall of the corridor, crossed his arms, and spoke softly, his voice drifting leisurely through the entire room.

"Sweetie, your brother's done taking a bath."

No one answered.

"Didn't you say you were going to do it? Here, your brother will serve you."

Quiet. The air conditioner vents hummed softly, and the refrigerator whirred gently from the kitchen.

"Sweetie, Lulu."

"Good Lulu, where are you hiding? Your brother will be worried if he can't find you."

Faint laughter drifted from the direction of the dressing room. It was muffled, quiet eating, as if someone was covering their mouth.

Xu Yuanjia followed the sound and pushed open the door to the walk-in closet. The lights were off, but moonlight streamed in through the window, casting varying shadows on the rows of wardrobes. The innermost wardrobe door was ajar, and something could be vaguely seen moving inside.

He walked over and yanked open the cabinet door.

Shi Luyu nestled among the neatly folded bedding at the bottom of the cabinet, clutching a black cashmere coat in her arms, burying her face in the collar.

The coat pockets were askew, the hem was crumpled, and there were several dark water stains on it. There was still a little dark red liquid on the corner of her mouth, and her lips were stained as if she had applied lipstick.

"The little rabbit certainly knows how to find a place to hide." His voice was unreadable.

Shi Luyu lifted her face from inside her coat, her cheeks flushed and her eyes bright. She chuckled twice at him. "Xiangxiang," she patted the cashmere coat in her arms, "safe."

Just as Xu Yuanjia was about to carry her out, he suddenly smelled a strong odor of alcohol in the cabinet. He squatted down to take a closer look and saw the scene inside.

The bedding was soaked, the hem of the cashmere coat was submerged in the liquor, and an empty liquor bottle lay beside it.

He recognized the bottle of wine; it was Romanée-Conti, aged so long that the label on the bottle had turned yellow. He had bought it at an auction five years ago, and when he moved into this house, he put it in the deepest part of the wine cabinet.

The bottle has been opened haphazardly. No corkscrew was used; the cork was forced in, and bits of it floated to the bottom.

Xu Yuanjia reached into the cabinet and carefully sniffed at the source of the alcohol smell.

The collar, the bedding, and her hair all smelled strongly of red wine.

He pulled the empty bottle out of the bedding; a thin layer of liquid remained at the bottom. He shook it, and the dark red liquid shimmered in the moonlight.

"You're quite capable at opening it," he praised her with a smirk. "How did you do it? Did you bite it open with your bunny teeth?"

Shi Luyu slid out of the cabinet and sat on the carpet, then hugged his leg like a rogue without saying a word.

The man, in a teasing mood, deliberately put on a stern face and stared down at her: "I've been treasuring this bottle of wine for five years. I originally planned to save it for our wedding. How do you suggest I compensate you?"

Shi Luyu blinked, looked at the empty bottle in his hand, and then looked at him.

Her lips trembled, her eyes reddened, and two lines of tears rolled down her cheeks.

"You're bullying me, waaaaaah—"

She cried loudly, tears streaming down her face, her nose twitching, and she huddled at his feet, clutching the wet men's cashmere coat, looking as pitiful as a little rabbit soaked by the rain.

Xu Yuanjia looked at her. He knew perfectly well that she was faking it. Just a moment ago she was ambushing him, biting him, and talking nonsense about wanting to have sex with him, but now she was crying on cue, her tears coming faster than the weather changing.

But he still bent down, put the empty bottle aside, reached out and put his arm around her shoulder, his voice softening:

"Alright, it's just a bottle of wine..."

Shi Luyu suddenly slammed her head forward, her forehead hitting his nose squarely—

A muffled "bang" was heard.

Xu Yuanjia was knocked back half a step, covering his nose with one hand. A sore and painful sensation shot from the bridge of his nose all the way to his eyes, and his eyes instantly became misty.

Shi Luyu squatted on the ground, her eyes blurry with drunkenness, laughing so hard she was doubled over, tears still clinging to her face: "Hahahaha, the sneak attack succeeded! I ambushed my brother!"

She laughed, hugging her knees, shaking with schadenfreude.

Xu Yuanjia was half-bent over, covering his nose, his eyes reddening slightly.

He watched her laugh so hard she was shaking, and the corners of his mouth slowly curved upwards, the end of which held a dangerous edge, like a knife that had been hidden in his sleeve for too long, slowly revealing its blade.

"Shi Luyu." His tone was tinged with laughter, yet it carried a chill that abruptly silenced her laughter.

She looked up and saw him lower his hand, revealing his reddened nose and reddened eyes.

He wasn't angry, but that smile was more frightening than any angry expression she had ever seen.

Xu Yuanjia spoke slowly and deliberately:

"It seems you really want to be punished tonight."
