After the second round of trials ended, the third round of trials began immediately.

In the first two rounds, Canas proved his wisdom and his character, demonstrating that he was capable of undertaking great responsibilities.

Looking at the world of Chaos today, no one dares to question Kanas's abilities anymore, nor does anyone deny His qualifications to become the King of Gods.

Chaos himself bestowed upon Him the divine status of "Kingdom," and His position was already predetermined.

The gods held their breath, none of them willing to miss a single moment.

The first two rounds have already secured Canas's victory.

So, is it necessary to continue with the third round of trials?

Heaven and earth remained silent, yet they provided the answer in the most magnificent way.

The entire world remained stagnant and heavy, with layers of oppressive power enveloping everything without any sign of fading, indicating that the trial was far from over.

However, Oceanus and Themis, who were the two candidates, were sent out directly, and their figures appeared directly in their own chairs at the Pantheon.

This indicates that they have completely lost their eligibility and will no longer be able to compete for the throne of the third generation of gods.

The first two rounds of trials test whether the candidates are qualified to become the God-King.

The third round will test the God-King's own abilities.

After all, even among god-kings, there are different ranks.

Uranus is not as good as Cronus.

Especially after the latter broke free from the shackles of fate, awakened the original divine nature of "Rebellion," and personally led an expedition to another world.

Cronus's contributions and reputation far surpassed those of Uranus, the first god-king.

Oceanus and Themis proved with facts that they were incapable of the task, so there was no need for them to participate in the third trial.

You're not even qualified to be a God-King, so how could you possibly be qualified to participate in the trials that belong only to God-Kings?

Get out!

Oceanus suppressed his resentment and anger, his cold eyes fixed on the trial space ahead.

After two consecutive defeats, the arrogance of this first Titan had been repeatedly crushed, with only a last shred of dignity belonging to the old god clinging to it.

He was still unconvinced.

He couldn't believe that the authority and power He had accumulated over countless eras were no match for a "baby god" who had been born a thousand years ago!

The weight of time and the depth of heritage seem like a huge joke in front of Canas.

Themis, sitting next to him, remained indifferent and calm, showing neither joy nor sorrow. The obsession in her eyes had mostly dissipated, leaving only a detached and resigned acceptance of the world's ways.

The enormous difference between the two trials made Him fully realize His own limitations and the destiny of all the first Titans.

They have truly grown old!

It's not just the passage of time that's causing them to grow old; it's also their outdated thinking and rigid mindset that have completely failed to keep up with the changing times.

The first Titans were born in the beginning of time, when Chaos was a barren wasteland, a world in its infancy composed of the most primordial concepts such as earth, sky, darkness, abyss, and ocean.

They are born as primordial, embodied, conceptual deities, inherently noble and born with authority, standing at the pinnacle of the world from the day of their birth.

Their privileged background instilled in them an innate and deep-rooted arrogance, which fostered a disdain for others and a sense of superiority.

It is precisely because of this that they clung to outdated ideas, refused to innovate, indulged in past glories, ignored the changes of the times, and were ultimately abandoned by the ever-forward trend of heaven and earth.

Themis glanced sideways at Oceanus, who was radiating hostility and filled with obsession, a hint of undisguised disdain flashing in her cold eyes.

As one of the twelve Titans, belonging to the same ancient origin, He knew that His own potential was limited and that He was destined to be unable to go any further in the future.

However, He could also distinguish between current affairs and understand the general trend.

The future Chaos belongs to the newly born gods.

Even an old god like Him, who knew when to advance and when to retreat and knew how to restrain Himself, was able to let go of His obsessions, lie dormant peacefully, and survive safely under the rule of Karnas, thus preserving the life of the Titan lineage.

But Oceanus was different.

He possesses ancient knowledge but lacks any discernment; he is stubborn, violent, out of touch with reality, and incapable of knowing when to advance or retreat.

Such a brainless, stubborn, and rebellious fool will eventually enrage Canas, who is in charge of the new era.

At that time, all former hegemony will be rendered obsolete, all eternal glory will be annihilated, and what awaits Him will be endless imprisonment and eternal torment.

Immortality is a gift that the world bestows upon the gods, a gift they envy most.

But at that time, immortality will become the most vicious and cruel curse in the world, causing Him to suffer the humiliation of defeat and the pain of imprisonment day after day, never to be freed.

"well....."

Themis sighed softly in her heart.

He was ultimately connected to Oceanus by blood, and they were brothers and sisters who had gone through the overthrow of Uranus's tyranny together. In the end, He could not bear to see Him suffer such a tragic end.

Good advice is hard to persuade a damned ghost, the tide is hard to turn, and the obsession is hard to break.

Given Oceanus's current state of resentment and deep-seated hostility, any attempt to offer even half a word of advice would be seen as mockery and betrayal, only adding to the hatred and being utterly meaningless.

With this thought in mind, Themis completely suppressed the pity and regret in her heart and chose to remain silent.

He withdrew his gaze, no longer paying attention to his former kin who were deeply mired in fanaticism, and focused all his spiritual perception and attention on the unique trial light screen in his mind that belonged exclusively to Kanas.

The Titans of the old era have come to an end, their glory and dominance completely concluded.

Next, He will witness it with His own eyes—

Witness how Chaos, the youngest, smartest, most responsible, and most deserving new god-king in history, ascends to the throne.

Above the sky, the entire trial space completely closed off, leaving the vast and boundless trial space open only for Kanas.

The third round of trials was much more straightforward than the first two.

As time unfolds, the flaws and shortcomings left behind by all the god-kings who ruled the world of Chaos, from the first generation of god-king Uranus to the second generation of god-king Cronus, are revealed before Kanas.

What Kanas needs to do is to fill in these gaps and correct these mistakes, creating a new order for the future world of Chaos.

What first appeared before Kanas was the deep-seated ailment of heaven and earth left behind by the first god-king, Uranus.

In order to consolidate his own position, Uranus forcibly put his children back into Gaia's body, causing great physical and mental harm to the earth goddess who symbolized the earth.

Physical injuries can heal, but emotional trauma cannot.

This is why Gaia, the originally loving Earth Mother Goddess, gradually changed, becoming sensitive, irritable, and easily angered.
