After Kanas emerged victorious from his personal space, the gods realized that these three trials were not a "backdoor" opened by Gaia for Kanas, but rather a test designed and orchestrated by the Chaos world itself to select the third generation of god-kings.

After all, even Gaia could not use so much authority to construct space.

They truly realized the importance and significance of this election of the God-King.

Quiet gasps of surprise rose and fell, quickly transforming into complete and utter admiration from the entire audience.

All the gods who had previously mocked Kanas, questioned His backdoor appointment, and believed that He had risen to power through external forces were now speechless, their hearts filled with endless shock and horror.

The shock stems from Kanas's own abilities, strength, and background.

They were horrified because they feared that Kanas would settle scores later.

Even if Kanas says he doesn't mind, there will be plenty of people under him who will target them in order to curry favor with Kanas!

Therefore, they must find a way to reverse this situation.

As for whether Kanas can become the third generation of God-King?

Please, bro!

Please open your eyes and see. Can Oceanus be a qualified king of the gods?

Oceanus's defeat was no longer a simple matter of answering a question incorrectly.

He was not defeated by Kanas, but by the selection criteria of the world's will.

Chaos did not need a tyrant who revered brute force and sought absolute hegemony.

Even if Themis ultimately wins, she will only be a regent; the one who truly sits on the throne of the gods will be Kanas.

And to be honest, Themis's success rate wasn't high either.

Themis's defeat was no longer simply due to a lack of vision. She was defeated by the backwardness and obsolescence of the changing times.

The world does not need conservatives who cling to the old order and stifle new life.

Kanas alone, with his wisdom that transcends time, his ability to reconcile the old and the new, and his commitment to perpetuity, perfectly aligns with all the expectations the world's origin has for the new generation of god-kings.

If Gaia is biased, it's due to personal relationships, factions, and private rights.

They also have reason to question Kanas.

But if it is chosen by the world, then it is destiny, the righteous path, and the inevitable trend.

Let them dominate the world? They might as well fight electricity!

At least a bolt of lightning from the cosmos might not be enough to kill them.

At this moment, the gods' gaze toward Kanas completely changed.

There was no longer any contempt, doubt, or dissatisfaction; instead, there was utmost awe, heartfelt admiration, and an unspoken sense of submission.

"No wonder this divine beast willingly bowed its head in allegiance, no wonder it was the only one to perfectly pass the first round of trials..."

"This isn't luck; it's the world's recognition!"

The resounding praises echoed throughout the Ottoman Mountains, completely washing away all the previous criticisms of Kanas.

Upon hearing the words spoken by these gods, Oceanus, who was standing to the side, suddenly froze, his aura turning into a deeper chill and helplessness.

If Kanas relied on Gaia's favoritism, He would have reason to hate Him, reason to question Him, and even have opportunities to make things difficult for Kanas in the future.

But if what they say is true, this is the world's choice...

This defeat is almost tantamount to being abandoned by the tide.

Overwhelming resentment choked within him, nearly suffocating the ancient Titan god, yet he had no way to vent it.

Even the mighty Him cannot be an enemy of all the gods.

Themis lowered her head slightly, sensing the surging energy deep within the heavens and earth, and her understanding deepened with time.

She finally realized that the laws she had upheld were not absolutely correct.

As times change and laws evolve, Chaos desires a "new life" that is born from the old and transformed from the old.

Moreover, isn't the will of the gods also a kind of trend?

Canas, an inevitable trend!

Just as public opinion completely reversed and the voices of the gods shifted dramatically, the skies above Mount Otrothus underwent another dramatic change.

The golden light of the first trial faded completely, and the entire sky turned into a clear and deep dark purple. Endless spatial power slowly spread out, once again enveloping the entire Oterus Mountains.

The second round of trials has officially begun!

Three independent new barriers slowly took shape in mid-air, shedding the golden holy light of the Trial of Wisdom, and in their place was a silent, cold, dark light that reflected the soul.

Compared to the first trial of wisdom, which tested external reasoning and the framework of governance, the second trial directly targets the core of divinity.

The second round of trials – a test of character.

This trial primarily tests the candidates' psychological qualities, resilience, and personality.

After all, wisdom cannot represent everything. If the user is cruel, wisdom can become a spear that wounds the world.

Obsession, fixation, and decay are things that wisdom cannot resist.

Wisdom can only discover, but cannot resist.

If the test of wisdom is a screening to determine "whether one can govern the world".

That test of character is to determine whether one is "worthy of ruling the world".

The dark barrier gate slowly opened, and a chilling aura of [soul] rushed out.

This is the divine status and authority held by Iapetus, one of the twelve Titans and the god of speech.

Unlike the first trial, at the end of the second trial, the outline of the third trial was already faintly emerging.

This time, we must complete all the trials at once!

"My Lord God, according to the rules, I cannot enter this space with you, so I can only wait for your return outside and wish you victory."

Just then, the Sphinx beneath Canas spoke up, explaining its predicament.

He is a life created by the Chaos world consciousness with reference to the information contained in the original [Desert] godhood of Set.

As a creature from another world, it needs to find a powerful backer to survive in this world.

And Kanas is its only option.

The two Sphinxes that were responsible for testing Oceanus and Themis are dead, and along with those two spaces, they were destroyed by the Chaos world.

Only He survived, thanks to the light of Kanas.

Even so, this world still imposes many restrictions on Him.

For example, as the possession of Kanas and the symbol of wisdom, He was unable to feel the blessings and enhancements from His own God of Wisdom!

Furthermore, it also sensed a strong repulsive force from the barrier gate of that space.

This indicates that it was unable to follow its owner into that space.

"It's alright, you can just wait here for me."

Kanas gently patted the Sphinx's lion back, then jumped straight down.

He actually prefers to pet pets' heads, but the Sphinx's head... really didn't inspire any desire in Him to touch it.

"See that goddess radiating lightning? She is my beloved. Just go and kneel down beside her."

After arranging the Sphinx, Kanas turned around, his back to the gods, and slowly stepped inside.
