Lin Chen pointed in the direction outside the town.

"When we arrived, we found a body in a cornfield five miles away."

"He's a night watchman."

"His entire body was drained of blood, and he had two bloody holes in his neck."

Captain Cao gasped.

"Dead...dead?"

"A zombie killed someone?!"

Si Mu glared at Captain Cao.

"Hurry up and take us to see Mama! That zombie sucked human blood; it'll definitely come back to town looking for food tonight!"

Captain Cao was terrified and jogged ahead to lead the way.

Lijia Town Government Office.

A strong, sour stench wafted from the innermost cell of the prison.

He was wearing a dirty yellow Taoist robe and sat cross-legged on a pile of dry hay.

He was digging hard into his nostrils with his right index finger, while his two apprentices, Ah Hao and Ah Qiang, squatted in the corner with worried expressions.

Si Mu walked up to the cell door, pinched his nose, and looked disgusted.

"You old bastard, you smell even stronger than an old corpse in a morgue!"

Mama paused, flicked the thing she had picked out onto the wall, and glanced at Simu with a sidelong look.

"Who do we have here? It's just the four-eyed guy."

"Lin Fengjiao didn't come? So you, with your half-baked skills, were sent to rescue me?"

His anger flared up instantly, and he reached for the bronze heavy sword on his back.

"You old bastard, still talking tough even when you're about to die! Believe me or not, I'll chop you in half with my sword first!"

Lin Chen quickly pressed Si Mu's hand down.

"Master, business is more important."

Lin Chen turned to look at the three people in the cell.

"Master Uncle Mama."

"The body you lost has risen from the dead and killed someone."

He waved his hand dismissively, his face full of disdain.

"fart!"

"That old man from Nintendo didn't even dare to kill a chicken when he was alive. Even if he were to rise from the dead, he would only be the lowest-level zombie."

"I can freeze him with a simple talisman, but kill him? Does he even have the guts?"

Lin Chen looked at Ah Hao in the corner.

"How exactly was the body stolen? Was it really stolen from the inn?"

Ah-hao shrank back, not daring to look at Ma-ma-di.

"Yes...it's at the inn."

"I went to the toilet at night, and when I came back, the body was gone."

Lin Chen sneered.

"Senior brother, you're not telling the truth."

"After the zombie disappeared, did you dress up in Qing Dynasty official robes, pretend to be a zombie, and go to report it, only to be discovered?"

Ah-hao's face flushed red, and he stammered.

"How...how did you know?"

A soft slap landed on the back of Ah Hao's head.

"You bastard! You actually did something so stupid?"

Chaos was raging in the cell when a piercing scream suddenly rang out from outside, followed by a barrage of rifle fire.

"Bang! Bang bang bang!"

Captain Cao rushed into the prison from outside, losing his hat in the process.

"Help!"

"Master Taoist, save me!"

"That monster stormed into the government office! Gunshots didn't even leave a mark on it!"

Si Mu drew a fifty-pound bronze greatsword with a backhand motion; the crimson copper patterns on the blade glowed dark red in the dimly lit cell.

"Apprentice, we have work to do!"

Lin Chen reached behind his back and drew the lightning-struck wooden sword, its blade shimmering with faint blue lightning.

"Master, this thing is not afraid of talismans. Don't use the corpse-fixing talisman, just use physical exorcism directly."

The two men strode out of the prison.

Upon arriving at the front yard, I saw two security guards being thrown into the air and crashing heavily onto the stone lions, dying instantly.

In the center of the courtyard, Nintendo, dressed in Qing Dynasty official robes, stood upright.

A dozen or so security guards surrounded the area and opened fire wildly.

The bullet struck the Nintendo, producing a crisp metallic clang and sending sparks flying.

Nintendo didn't even shake.

It turned its head, opened its mouth full of fangs, and let out a strange roar that sounded like a Western music box playing out of tune.

With a powerful push of his legs, he charged into the crowd, his hands plunging straight into the chest of one of the team members.

Si Mu shouted loudly.

"You wretch! Take this sword from me!"

The 50-pound bronze sword cleaved straight at Nintendo's skull.

"when!"

The sound of hammering echoed through the courtyard of the yamen.

Using the force of the four eyes slashing downwards, the bronze greatsword struck Nintendo on the forehead.

Si Mu gripped the sword hilt with both hands, his arms numb from the shock, and his tiger's mouth split open, bleeding.

That blow could have shattered the stone slab, but it only left a white mark on Nintendo's forehead.

When the crimson copper mixed in the greatsword came into contact with the yin energy, the blade glowed red, scalding the zombie's forehead until white smoke rose, and it emitted a smell of formaldehyde.

Nintendo made a strange noise from its throat, unlike ordinary zombies that stiffen after being hit.

It tilted its head to the side, making way for the greatsword.

Then a withered arm swept across, and Si Mu quickly raised his sword to block it.

"Bang!"

Si Mu staggered back five or six steps, sword and all, before finally regaining his footing after his back hit the courtyard wall.

"Master!" Lin Chen stepped forward using the Maoshan Seven Star Steps.

Captain Cao hid behind the stone lion and shouted at the top of his lungs.

"Shoot! Kill it!"

The security guards closed their eyes and pulled the triggers, causing the Hanyang rifles to spew fire.

The bullets hit Nintendo's Qing Dynasty official uniform, but were all deflected by the dead skin and rotten flesh, leaving bullet fragments scattered all over the ground.

Upon hearing the gunshot, Nintendo didn't leap forward with its arms outstretched like a normal zombie; instead, it bent its knees and lunged at the group of people firing the shots.

He grabbed a teammate's shoulders with both hands, opened his mouth, and bit his neck.

"evil creature!"

When Lin Chen arrived, he held the century-old lightning-struck wooden sword upside down in his right hand, and blue lightning crackled from the blade.

Lin Chen used the wooden sword like a stick, swinging it around and smashing it down on Nintendo's back.

"Thump!"

The sound, like driving a wooden stake, spread out.

Nintendo was knocked back and staggered forward, dropping the security guard in his hand and scrambling away.

The righteous energy of the lightning strike from the wooden sword seeped into the zombie's back.

Blue arcs of electricity seem to dance across Nintendo.

The zombie convulsed and made strange noises.

It turned around, its blue eyes staring at Lin Chen.

Lin Chen gripped the sword hilt. The toughness of this monster's skin and flesh was even more exaggerated than that of the armored corpse in the mine.

The most troublesome thing is that this thing is not afraid of lightning.

The righteous energy of lightning striking the wood would have burned through the bones of an ordinary zombie long ago.

Hitting this guy only slowed him down by a few seconds.

Nintendo flicked his arm, dispelling the electric arcs on his body, and his ten long fingernails went straight for Lin Chen's heart.

Lin Chen took a step closer.

The True Scripture of the Upper Clarity Cave circulates within the body.

The magical power surged into his limbs along his meridians.

Lin Chen dodged the claws by sidestepping, and clenched his left fist.

A Maoshan-style ordinary punch landed on Nintendo's chin.

The power erupted.

Nintendo, weighing over 200 pounds, was knocked off his feet and flew backward, crashing into a wooden pillar in the yard and breaking it.

The broken pieces of wood fell down and buried it underneath.

"Good lad! Beat it up!" Si Mu recovered and picked up his bronze greatsword to charge again.

A cloud of black smoke exploded from the pile of scrap wood.

Nintendo pushed the wooden block aside and stood up, his jaw dislocated and twisted to one side after being punched by Lin Chen.

It reached out, lifted its chin, and forcefully twisted it.

With a "crack," the dislocated jaw was put back in place.

Captain Cao and the remaining security guards were so frightened that their eyes rolled back.

It is not afraid of pain, guns, or magical artifacts, and it can even set its own bones.

Nintendo looked at the lightning-struck wooden sword in Lin Chen's hand and his clenched fist.

Its instincts warned it that the person in front of it was dangerous.

It turned around, grabbed the two blood-drained corpses of security guards from the ground, and leaped onto the wall of the government office.

It disappeared into the night after a few rises and falls.

"Don't run!" Four Eyes chased after him to the base of the wall, then stopped looking at the night outside.
