Flames burst through the room, and Shirou Emiya, covered in smoke, flew out of the explosion and crashed heavily onto the snow.

"Such powerful strength..." Matou Ryogen's eyes were filled with apprehension.

"You really shouldn't be underestimated."

Before he finished speaking, his figure silently disappeared into the flames and thick smoke.

Emiya Shirou struggled to his feet, his chest aching from the heavy snow.

He looked down at the watch face in his palm, still emitting a faint glow, and his tense nerves finally relaxed slightly. Thank goodness Lin Shiye had lent him this before he left; otherwise, he would most likely have been in trouble.

"By the way, Saber?"

He suddenly looked up, his gaze sweeping rapidly across the chaotic battlefield, and soon spotted Artoria's figure not far away.

The golden-haired knight was engaged in fierce combat with Cú Chulainn, but was clearly at a disadvantage. Cú Chulainn's lance was like a viper's tongue, and its dagger-like tail was even more cunning and ruthless, each move aimed directly at vital points.

That relentless, all-out attack and reckless fighting style forced Artoria to parry helplessly, leaving her no chance to even retaliate with her sword.

If he watched any longer, Saber would be killed. Without hesitation, Shirou Emiya ran over and twisted the watch face in his hand.

A crimson magic circle suddenly lit up in front of him, and several scorching fireballs roared through the air, striking Cú Chulainn precisely in the back.

Artoria seized the fleeting opportunity, slashing horizontally with her holy sword to deflect the spear thrusting towards her. Then, she lightly touched the ground with her toes and quickly jumped back to create a safe distance.

boom--!

The towering flames instantly engulfed Cú Chulainn's tall figure.

"Saber, let's retreat!"

After saying that, the two ran out of the temple one after the other.

"Where's Rider?" Shirou Emiya asked as he ran.

"He went after Assassin, so it should be fine," Artoria replied.

Upon hearing this, Shirou Emiya couldn't help but wonder, "A Berserker and an Assassin, could they both be Matou Ryokken's Servants?"

"Let's go find Tohsaka first..."

Before he could finish speaking, a terrifying, suffocating surge of magical energy suddenly pressed down from behind him.

"Gae Bolg! (A spear that pierces through death)"

Cú Chulainn's chilling roar pierced through the thick smoke, and his demonic spear, stained with countless drops of blood, ripped through the sky, howling in with an absolute death curse, its icy killing intent almost freezing the air.

Artoria's pupils contracted sharply, and almost instinctively she raised her holy sword horizontally, using her back to shield the boy behind her.

"Shirou, get out of the way!"

The moment the demonic spear clashed with the holy sword, crimson magical power exploded like a volcano, and the violent shockwave, like an invisible hand, violently swept Shirou Emiya away. Fortunately, he landed directly in the cold pond not far away.

"Puha—!"

The biting cold made Shirou Emiya shiver. He struggled to climb out of the water and onto the shore, his clothes soaking wet, and looked in the direction he had just been.

As the smoke and dust slowly dissipated, Artoria lay in the center of a huge crater, her holy sword falling from her hand to the side, her golden hair disheveled and plastered to her face, her breath so faint as to be almost imperceptible.

"You're really tough, Saber." Cú Chulainn sheathed his magic spear and walked step by step toward the deep pit.

"However, that's all for now."

Emiya Shirou gritted his teeth, about to rush over, but his body suddenly stiffened.

A murky, evil, and nauseating stench emanated from his side. He stiffly turned his head and saw the blurry black figure standing quietly in the snow not far away, silently watching them.

"Oh no..." He hurriedly reached out to turn the dial, but Cú Chulainn was faster than him.

A bloody afterimage flashed by, and the cold spear tip pierced his chest without any resistance, emerging from his back.

Hot blood gushed out, staining his school uniform and the pristine snow beneath his feet. Shirou Emiya suddenly vomited a mouthful of blood, his vision blurring.

Cú Chulainn chuckled lightly, and with a flick of his wrist, mercilessly pulled the spear out.

A wave of excruciating pain washed over his entire body, and Shirou Emiya collapsed onto the snow, his consciousness slowly fading into darkness.

But just then, Astolfo suddenly appeared and kicked Cú Chulainn. The latter stared wide-eyed, seemingly unable to understand why a Rider could be so strong.

Cú Chulainn's body flew backward and crashed into a courtyard.

Astolfo didn't linger in the fight. He hoisted Shirou Emiya onto his shoulder and appeared at the edge of the pit in a flash. He brandished his lance, forcing back the restless black tentacles, and then bent down to hoist the weak Artoria onto his shoulder.

"Swift Eagle!"

At his call, a giant eagle flew over, and Afu led the two of them onto it, speeding away into the distance.

The dark figure wanted to give chase, but just then, a deafening roar came from the other side.

Clearly, the battle on Rin Tohsaka's side has reached its most tragic finale.

The surrounding buildings had long since turned into scorched earth, and the golden fire of the sun and the black silt intertwined and collided on the ruins, dyeing the entire temple with an eerie color.

"Lancer, crush him right here!" Rin Tohsaka shouted, and the three Command Seals on the back of her hand emitted a dazzling light at the same time.

"Understood." Karna flew in the air, surging magical power surrounding him, the tip of his spear pointing directly at Arjuna's figure.

"I will bring you absolute victory, Master!"

"Arjuna." His voice was calm but carried a heavy sorrow.

"Your fall is truly hideous. The once flawless hero, your glory has long been swallowed by darkness. Since that is so, I, your nemesis and dearest friend, will personally deliver you from this state."

As soon as he finished speaking, Karna's golden armor crumbled inch by inch, turning into countless golden flames that all flowed into the God-Slaying Spear he held high in his hand.

An unimaginably terrifying burst of energy erupted from the tip of the gun, tearing a huge rift in the thick clouds, and a crimson-gold beam of light shot straight into the sky.

The surrounding earth cracked inch by inch under the impact of the energy, the remaining buildings instantly turned into dust, and even the air began to burn.

Rin Tohsaka was running desperately outside, because if she didn't run, she would really be blown up by the aftershocks.

The wind whistled past her ears, a dark shadow swept by, and Astolfo swooped down on his eagle and scooped her up.

"Rider!" Rin Tohsaka breathed a sigh of relief, still shaken, and then quickly asked.

"What about Emiya and Saber? How are they?"

"I've taken them to a safe place first. Don't worry, they're all still alive!" Astolfo smiled and gave a thumbs up.

"You're making me even more worried..." Rin Tohsaka's face fell, and she helplessly rubbed her forehead.

Having confirmed that his Master was out of danger, Karna finally withdrew all his attention and focused all his mind on Arjuna.

"Do you have anything to explain?"

Arjuna's face remained expressionless; he simply drew his bow and nocked an arrow, the black arrow aimed at Karna in the sky.

"I have nothing to say."

Upon hearing this answer, Karna slowly closed his eyes. When he opened them again, only resolute determination remained in his eyes.

"Since that's the case..."

"Let this strike put an end to our millennia-long feud!"

"Vasavi Shakti! (Sun, submit to death!)"

.........

The world fell silent at this moment.

The blinding white light engulfed everything, and even time seemed to stand still at that moment.

The next instant, a deafening explosion shook the entire city. A crimson-gold meteor plummeted from the sky, and Arjuna's figure, along with the entire deep mountain, was utterly reduced to nothingness by this devastating blow, leaving not a trace behind.

Citizens in the city stopped what they were doing and stared in astonishment at the huge mushroom cloud in the distance, their voices rising and falling in discussion.

"Holy crap, who the hell dropped a nuclear bomb?"

"Don't talk nonsense, the authorities have said it countless times: it was a gas explosion!"

"It didn't explode in the city, thank goodness!"
