Live stream room?

Lin Shuang was stunned for a moment.

Yang Ge didn't explain further and led his men away into the gray wilderness.

The safe haven was quiet. Old Qian was slumped on the ground, A Yao was re-bandaging the monkey, and Shen Du had put away his knife, his face expressionless.

"What does he mean by 'live stream'?" Lin Shuang asked.

Shen Du walked to a black stone tablet standing in the center of the stronghold and tapped it. The stone tablet lit up, projecting a semi-transparent screen.

The screen displays a leaderboard.

"Guild rankings," Shen Du said. "First, Destiny Guild. Second, Purgatory Guild. Third, Starshine Guild... all the way up to tenth."

Lin Shuang leaned closer to take a look. Next to the leaderboard was a "Live Replay" option.

She clicked on it.

When the image popped up, Lin Shuang froze.

That was a scene of her fighting in an S-rank dungeon. The angle was overhead, showing the entire mirrored city and every move she and her teammates made.

There is a scrolling barrage of comments on the right side of the screen.

"Who is this woman? Did she solo the boss in an S-rank dungeon?"

"It wasn't a solo match; she had teammates, but she was definitely the main damage dealer."

"Terrifying, is she a newcomer? I've never seen her before."

"Her name is Lin Shuang. She only entered the strange world three months ago."

"Reaching S-rank in just three months? That's cheating!"

Lin Shuang stared at the screen, remaining silent for a moment.

All the gameplay in the dungeons... was streamed live?

"The dungeon in the Mysterious World is streamed live," Shen Du said casually, as if he were commenting on the weather. "Everyone in the base can watch it. The guild is also watching."

"You knew all along?"

"Know."

"Why the hell didn't you say so?" The monkey jumped up from the ground, aggravated its wound, and sat back down with a howl.

Shen Du glanced at him: "If I told you, you wouldn't kill those three people?"

The monkey choked.

Indeed, even knowing there was a live stream, the situation left them no choice but to act. Those three were there to steal points; if they didn't kill them, they would be the ones who died.

Lin Shuang continued scrolling through the comments section below the live stream replay.

She has a high number of likes. Many people follow her, and most of them praise her for her good skills, accurate judgment, and beautiful use of the Samsung Ghost weapon.

But as you flip down, the wind direction changes.

"This woman is incredibly audacious. Did she know she was killing people from Purgatory?"

"It's over, that madman Pei Jin won't let her get away with this."

"What a pity, I had high hopes for her, I doubt she'll survive past next week."

"The Purgatory Guild chased that five-man team for three days last time, they'll probably be even more ruthless this time."

Lin Shuang's finger stopped on the screen.

"Heh." She withdrew her hand and turned off the screen.

Old Qian leaned closer: "What do you mean?"

"I'm famous now," Lin Shuang said.

"What do you mean?"

"The good news is, a lot of people think I'm amazing," Lin Shuang said, looking at him. "The bad news is, even more people think I'm about to die."

Old Qian opened his mouth.

"Because I offended the second-ranked guild," Lin Shuang added. "That guild leader's nickname is Mad Dog."

The safe haven was quiet for a while.

The monkey broke the silence: "So what do we do now?"

"Rest," Lin Shuang said. "Let's heal our injuries first, then we'll think of something else."

She found a corner to sit down, leaning against the cold stone wall. Her mind was in turmoil.

Three months ago, she inexplicably entered a bizarre world and has been struggling ever since. She originally thought that all she had to do was keep clearing dungeons, but she never expected there to be so many other problems outside of dungeons—guilds, rankings, live streams, and being hunted down.

She closed her eyes and went through the events of the day.

It's certain that the Purgatory Guild won't let this go. Yang Ge's parting words, "The guild leader is very interested," didn't sound like a bluff.

Moreover, the existence of live streaming means that her every move is under the watchful eyes of others. She can't keep a low profile even if she wants to.

"Shen Du." She opened her eyes.

Shen Du was wiping his knife not far away when he heard her call and looked up.

How much do you know about the guild?

"Not many," Shen Du said. "The Heavenly Fate Guild is the strongest, Purgatory is second but the most ferocious, and the others are not much different. There are information boards in the strongholds; you can check them yourself."

Lin Shuang stood up, walked to the information board, and flipped through it.

The guild system was more complex than she had imagined. The top ten guilds each had their own territories, and their strongholds were also distinct. The safe stronghold she was currently in was a neutral zone, but if she went out, she would enter the territory of the Purgatory Guild.

In other words, after Yang Ge made his statement, she even had a hard time leaving her stronghold.

Lin Shuang pinched the mark on her wrist. The mark warmed slightly, and the number of strange points stored inside jumped—12400. The rewards for an S-rank dungeon were indeed generous, but even the most generous rewards required a certain amount of life to enjoy.

She looked at her team.

Old Qian, A Yao, and Monkey. The three of them were a team she formed in the strange world. They were all quite strong, but in terms of combat power, they were at most capable of clearing B-level dungeons.

Shen Du is different. His strength is unfathomable; Lin Shuang still hasn't figured out his trump card. Their partnership was accidental—the system randomly matched them when they first entered the dungeon, and they later discovered their excellent teamwork, so they've remained together ever since.

But the current situation is no longer just about running dungeons.

She dragged everyone down with her.

After spending a whole day at the safe haven, the monkey's injuries were about 70-80% healed. The recovery speed in the eerie world is faster than in reality, and with A-Yao's healing items, although the bones weren't broken, the torn muscles had already grown back.

Lin Shuang didn't say much all day.

She was thinking.

She watched the live stream replay several more times. The comments section was getting increasingly heated, with members of the Purgatory Guild clearly stirring up trouble, making various pronouncements like "Just wait and see." Some people spoke up for her, but their voices were much quieter.

Most players in this strange world prefer to protect themselves. No one wants to get involved in offending the Purgatory Guild.

Shen Du silently polished his knife all day.

By the evening of the second day—the sky in the eerie world would darken, and although there was no sun, there was a mechanism to simulate day and night—Lin Shuang called the four people together.

There's something I'd like to say.

Old Qian sat cross-legged: "Speak."

"I plan to unbind myself from the team."

Three seconds of silence.

Then the monkey jumped up and shouted, "What did you say?"

"Unbind," Lin Shuang repeated. "The Purgatory Guild is targeting me. If you unbind yourself from me, they won't make things difficult for you."

"Are you out of your mind?" the monkey snapped. "What will you do alone after we untie you?"

"I have Shen Du."

"So the three of us aren't your teammates anymore?" the monkey's voice rose. "So we've been wasting our time these past few months?"

Ayao tugged at the monkey's sleeve to make him sit down, then looked at Lin Shuang: "You're afraid of implicating us."

This is not a question.

Lin Shuang did not deny it.

"You're the one who carried us through the S-rank dungeon," Ayao said. "Without you, the three of us would have died on the third day in Mirror City. Now that you're in trouble, what kind of team would we be if we just ran away?"

Old Qian also spoke up: "Although I, Old Qian, am a coward, I'm not that cowardly."

The monkey crossed its arms and snorted, "Exactly. Besides, after we're untied, the three of us are just scattered individuals, without the protection of a team, making us easier targets. It's safer with you."
