"Good teamwork." Zhou Lang turned off the chainsaw.

"This monster is really tough." Zhao Qiang rubbed his knee.

Han Yingying stepped forward, her hands glowing faintly, and placed them on Lei Hu's broken knuckles. The wounds healed at a speed visible to the naked eye.

"Thank you," Lei Hu nodded.

"Time is running out. Go down to basement level three."

The third basement level.

It's much colder here than upstairs. Grayish-white dust floats in the air, and it stings a little when you inhale it.

The railway tracks stretched across the empty concrete ground. The dilapidated red cable car stood silently at the end. Black liquid seeped continuously from the carriages, spreading along the tracks.

Their eyes opened. The whites of their eyes were jet black, with no pupils.

"Big brothers, are you here to play with us?"

Two overlapping sounds echoed in the underground parking garage.

The temperature plummeted. The water on the ground instantly froze.

The cable car doors were flung open. A dozen or so Class A passengers emerged out of nowhere and rushed toward the load-bearing wall of Zone C.

"Damn it! Isn't the rule that one can be released every two hours?" Zhao Qiang cursed.

"Rules are dead, but the uncanny are alive. We've triggered the twins' true forms, and they've gone berserk." Zhou Lang handed the oil lamp to Han Yingying. "Take this, use the light to block out the passengers. Lei Hu, Zhao Qiang, guard both sides. I'll break down the wall!"

Zhou Lang gripped the chainsaw with both hands, raising the motor noise to its maximum.

The serrated edge cuts into the flesh-and-blood load-bearing wall.

The curtains in the rented room were drawn tightly shut.

Zhou Lang sat on the edge of the bed, looking at the settlement list in the inventory.
