In the apartment at night, only a warm orange floor lamp was on. The central air conditioning hummed softly, effectively keeping the summer night's heat out of the windows.

Kikawa Sumi leaned back on the soft fabric sofa, and Gojo Satoru naturally took over his lap.

The white-haired youth lay on his side, his long legs awkwardly draped over the sofa armrests, his face buried in Kikawa Sumi's firm abdomen, greedily absorbing the soft, warm, faintly scented fabric of his pajamas.

Kikawa Sumi leaned back on the sofa, one hand unconsciously and casually stroking Gojo Satoru's soft hair at the back of his head, while the other hand held up his phone, the screen showing the LINE chat interface.

It's a recent photo sent by Shunping.

The background of the photo is a commercial street in Sendai.

In the video, Hisahito Itadori is showing off his enormous crepe stuffed with strawberries and cream to the camera with his mouth wide open, completely disregarding his image.

Beside him, Yoshino Junpei, though with Itadori's arm around his shoulder and his posture slightly awkward, now had a clean and genuine smile on his face, which was always shrouded in gloom and defensiveness.

Without the thick bangs that covered his right eye, the boy's delicate features were fully exposed to the sunlight, and his whole being visibly exuded a vibrant and lively energy.

"Ding-dong—"

A new message notification popped up at the top of my phone from the group chat.

Yuujin Itadori: [Mr. Gojo! Dr. Kikawa! Junpei is so funny! We watched three horror movies together yesterday! He also told me a lot of behind-the-scenes stories and Easter eggs, so funny!]

Next up was another photo of the two of them making funny faces in front of a movie theater.

As Sumire looked at the screen, a gentle smile unconsciously crept onto her lips.

"What are you looking at? Why are you laughing so happily?"

Gojo Satoru, who had been keeping his eyes closed, woke up at some point.

He didn't get up, but instead rolled over on his back on Sumire's lap.

His pale blue eyes were fixed on Kikawa Sumi's face, with a lazy look of just waking up and a hint of barely perceptible inquiry.

"Photos sent by Junpei and Itajō." Sumi Kikawa pressed the phone screen down to show Gojō Satoru.

Gojo Satoru glanced at it only once before his gaze returned to Sumi Kikawa's face.

He chuckled softly, the vibration of his chest carrying through the fabric: "Xiao Cheng, you've done a good job as matchmaker. Yu Ren is a kid who makes it easy for people to open up to you."

Sumi Kikawa didn't deny it, her eyes almost overflowing with relief: "Yes, it's really great that Junpei can make a friend like Hisahito."

Gojo Satoru looked at his gentle features, his gaze shifting slightly. He suddenly sat up, leaning closer until their noses almost touched.

"Speaking of which, Hisahito has been saying he wants to come to Tokyo again lately. How about we invite them to come this weekend? Junpei has just been through all that, so he can relax a bit."

This suggestion surprised Sumire Kichikawa.

He glanced at Gojo Satoru instinctively, then hesitated, "But...didn't you say you wanted to sleep in all weekend?"

"Sleeping is nowhere near as fun as watching kids play." Gojo Satoru scoffed dismissively, then reached out and gently tucked a stray strand of hair that had fallen beside Sumi Kikawa's ear behind his head with his cool fingertips.

His voice softened, carrying a comforting tone that struck right to the heart: "Besides... I also want to see how Shunping is doing now. After all, he's the child you've always cared about."

These words were like a warm stream of water, instantly soothing the softest corner of Sumi Kichikawa's heart.

Kikawa Sumire stared intently at Gojo Satoru, his eyes churning with intense emotions. After a moment, he tilted his head back slightly and placed a kiss on the corner of Gojo Satoru's lips.

She said softly, "Okay."

He looked down to send a private message to Junpei, while Gojo Satoru excitedly took out his phone and directly tagged Itadori Yuujin in the group chat.

Almost instantly, the message from Haddō popped up:

[Really? That's great!!! Junpei and I have always wanted to hang out in Tokyo together! Mr. Gojo is the best!!!]

On the other hand, although Junpei hesitated slightly in his reply, he eventually agreed after learning that Itadori would also be coming, and that it was Sumi Kikawa who had personally invited him.

Saturday was packed with people.

Yoshino Junpei and Itadori Yujin, carrying backpacks, walked out of the station exit with the flow of people.

Along the way, Itsuji, like a tireless little dog, chattered away, planning today's "Tokyo trip" for Shunpei, while Shunpei would nod and smile from time to time. The two looked so familiar that anyone would think they were old friends who had known each other for many years.

"Ah! I see it!"

Itadori's eyes suddenly lit up. He stood on tiptoe, leaped over the layers of people, and excitedly waved his arms, shouting, "Dr. Kikawa—! Mr. Gojo—!"

Two conspicuous figures were standing outside the ticket gate not far away.

Today, Sumi Kichikawa wore a beige casual shirt with the cuffs rolled up, and her temperament was still the same gentle and warm one that makes people feel like they are bathed in a spring breeze.

Standing next to him was Gojo Satoru, whose impressive height of over 1.9 meters, striking white hair, and noble yet flamboyant aura made him an unmissable focus in the crowd.

Upon seeing the two boys, Sumi Kichikawa smiled gently.

"here."

Shunpei followed Itadori quickly over, stopped in front of the two men, and bowed deeply at a ninety-degree angle with proper etiquette: "Dr. Kikawa, Mr. Gojo, I apologize for disturbing you today. Thank you very much for your invitation."

"Shunpei, don't be so reserved." Kikawa Sumi reached out and gently supported him, her gaze softening as she looked at the boy's noticeably fuller face. "Seeing you in such good spirits puts my mind at ease."

Gojo Satoru stepped forward with a smile, hands in his pockets, and reached out to ruffle Itadori Yuuhito's short pink hair.

"Yujin, you seem to have grown a little taller again?"

While protecting his hair, Itajimaru puffed out his chest defiantly and declared loudly, "That's for sure! I drink two bottles of milk every day, and I'm definitely going to surpass Mr. Gojo in the future!"

"Oh? Yuujin wants to surpass me?" Gojo Satoru pushed up his sunglasses and chuckled softly. "If you're targeting me, then you'd better work hard~"

After the four met up, they followed the flow of people out of the station.

Tokyo in summer still felt a bit hot, with the sound of cicadas hidden among the trees lining the streets.

Walking down the road, Shunpei lagged half a step behind, his gaze involuntarily falling on Sumireki and Satoru Gojo, who were walking ahead.

This was the first time he had observed the way these two people interacted so closely in private.

His intuition told him that something was off.

Gojo Satoru was complaining quietly about how hot it was, then leaned against Sumire Kichikawa like he had no bones.

As was her habit, Kikawa Sumi took out a bottle of iced oolong tea she had just bought from the convenience store bag she was carrying, unscrewed the cap, and handed it over.

But Gojo Satoru did not reach out to take it.

Taking advantage of his height, he lowered his head slightly and, using Kikawa Sumi's hand, placed his lips directly on the bottle opening.

With each swallow, his pale Adam's apple bobbed up and down, exuding an indescribable sensuality.

His other hand naturally rested on the back of Kikawa Sumi's hand holding the bottle, his thumb pad intentionally or unintentionally rubbing the sensitive pulse on the inside of Kikawa Sumi's wrist.

There was no deliberate intimacy between them, but the exchange of glances, the touch of their bodies, and even the rhythm of their breathing all conveyed a sense of intimacy that no one else could possibly intrude upon.

This is definitely not the kind of atmosphere you'd find between "ordinary friends" or "colleagues".

Junpei stared blankly at them until Gojo Satoru let go of his hand and the two walked over side by side again, at which point he snapped out of his daze.

"Um..." Junpei swallowed hard, his fingers nervously gripping the shoulder strap of his backpack, and cautiously, even tentatively, began, "Dr. Kikawa, and Mr. Gojo... you are...?"

He didn't finish his sentence, but the doubt in his eyes said it all.

Huzhang, who was walking beside him, also stopped, blinked his big eyes, looked at Shunping, and then at the two adults in front of him.

Faced with the boy's hesitant question, Sumi Kichikawa did not try to hide anything or panic.

A gentle breeze blew by, ruffling the stray hairs on his forehead. He looked at Shunping, his gaze as calm and open as ever.

"We are a couple," Sumi Kichikawa replied softly.

Shunping's eyes widened instantly.

A couple?!

This was the first time in his seventeen years of life that he had encountered a same-sex couple in real life, and one of them was the doctor he was most grateful to and trusted.

The immense impact left Shunping's mind blank for half a second.

When he realized what a private question he had just asked, his face instantly turned bright red, and he frantically waved his hands.

"Ah! I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean that! I just... I just didn't expect..."

He apologized incoherently, afraid that his abruptness had offended Sumire Kichikawa.

Seeing the boy's flustered appearance, Kikawa Sumi chuckled. He stepped forward and gently ruffled the boy's smooth hair.

"It's alright, no need to apologize." Sumi Kikawa looked at him gently. "This is nothing to hide."

Shunping felt the warmth coming from above his head, and his wildly beating heart gradually calmed down.

He looked up at the aloof and gentle Sumi Kichikawa, then at Gojo Satoru standing to the side, who wore sunglasses but had a smile on his lips.

That strange atmosphere, where no third person could be tolerated, resurfaced in my mind.

Shunping processed this explosive news for a moment, then lowered his head somewhat shyly and said in a low but sincere voice, "...I feel we are a perfect match."

"Right, right!" Itajimaru finally found a chance to interject. He put his hands behind his head and laughed triumphantly. "I knew it all along! Because Dr. Kikawa obviously likes Mr. Gojo!"

Gojo Satoru laughed heartily, thoroughly pleased, and waved his hand: "Excellent! As a reward for your discerning eye, Gojo-sensei will cover all the food and entertainment today!"

The heavy atmosphere was completely dispelled by these jokes, and the four of them walked towards the parking lot laughing and joking.
