Ms. Gojo thought she was dating an ordinary person's boyfriend.

Chapter 150 "A Dessert Partner is Born"

Upon hearing this, the smile on Snow Rabbit's face softened.

"That's great."

He spoke sincerely, without a trace of politeness in his tone.

Then, he lowered his head, cut a piece of strawberry cake with a small silver fork, and put it in his mouth. The soft sweetness melted on his tongue, making him squint his eyes in satisfaction.

Gojo Satoru, who had been lazily leaning on Kikawa Sumi's shoulder, was immediately drawn to the spot by a glance from the corner of his eye.

"Is it good?" He stared at the cake.

"Mm." Yukito nodded, smiling gently. "Sakura's cakes are always delicious. The cream is whipped very lightly, and the strawberries are very fresh; they're not cloying at all."

Gojo Satoru nodded in agreement: "Indeed. The cake base is also very soft, and the sweetness is just right."

After being showered with earnest praise by the two, Sakura's cheeks gradually flushed, and she held her small fork somewhat shyly, saying, "It's just a very ordinary strawberry cake..."

"The most amazing thing is being able to make ordinary things taste this good," Yukito encouraged softly.

"That's right," Gojo Satoru chimed in with complete agreement. "And with this skill, opening a shop is no problem at all. Sakura, if you ever open a dessert shop, I'll definitely be there to support you."

"A dessert shop?" Sakura paused for a moment, seemingly contemplating the scene in her mind, then smiled, pursing her lips. "I haven't thought about it yet. But if I ever do open a shop, I'll definitely save the best cake for Mr. Gojo."

Gojo Satoru readily agreed: "Then it's settled."

"Okay, it's settled!"

Sitting next to her, Sumi Kikawa watched as the person beside her effortlessly made a promise with Sakura based on just a piece of cake, a promise that might not be fulfilled for who knows how many years. A helpless yet indulgent smile involuntarily surfaced in her eyes.

Yukito, as if he had found a rare kindred spirit, took the initiative to strike up a conversation: "Does Mr. Gojo also like sweets?"

"That's not just a normal liking." Wujiaowu perked up at the mention of this, "Cake, pudding, Xijiufu, ice cream, as long as it tastes good, I'll eat it all."

Snow Rabbit's eyes lit up slightly: "Kikufu is really delicious. I once had a chestnut-filled one that contained a whole candied chestnut."

"Whole one?" Gojo Satoru immediately leaned closer and pointed. "Is the outer skin just regular glutinous rice skin, or is there something else added?"

"The color is a bit light yellow, it seems to be mixed with chestnut powder."

Gojo Satoru's eyes lit up completely: "That sounds great! Where is that shop?"

"It's in a neighboring town. The shop is very small, and it's often sold out if you go in the afternoon." Yukito thought for a moment, then kindly added, "But the owner said that they'll have limited-edition Mont Blanc daifuku in the fall."

"The Great Fortune of Montblanc?"

Without a word, Gojo Satoru pulled out his phone and expertly opened the memo app: "What's the name of the shop?"

Snow Rabbit gave his name and leaned slightly over to look at his screen, helping him confirm the specific address.

"Actually, there's another good honey pudding shop around here," Snow Rabbit continued to recommend. "The pudding has a very soft texture, and the caramel doesn't taste bitter."

"I personally prefer a stronger caramel flavor, but since you recommended it, I definitely have to try it." Gojo Satoru's fingers flew across the keyboard as he quickly jotted it down. "Any other good places?"

"A new cake shop opened in front of the station, and I heard they have a limited-edition white peach mille-feuille cake on weekends."

"White peach mille-feuille? I like that."

"I like it very much too."

"Shall we go together?"

Yukito was taken aback for a moment, clearly not expecting him to be so familiar, but then smiled and nodded: "Okay."

One of them was flamboyant and carefree, his happiness written all over his face; the other was calm and reserved, even his laughter was gentle.

They didn't seem like the same people at all, but now they were chatting enthusiastically across a low table about which cream was more delicate and which pudding tasted better. In just a few words, they efficiently planned a "dessert tour route" from the station to the neighboring town.

Sakura listened with great interest, occasionally raising her hand to speak: "The cream puffs at that shop are super delicious too!"

Tomoyo chimed in with a smile, "If everyone's planning to go together, I can arrange a car in advance. That way, even if we buy too much, we won't have to worry about not being able to get it all back."

Gojo Satoru gave a thumbs-up without hesitation: "Tomoyo, you're absolutely reliable."

"Because Mr. Gojo and Mr. Yukito don't seem like the type of people who would restrain themselves from buying too much," Tomoyo replied with a smile, her hands folded.

Feeling a little embarrassed at being seen through, Snow Rabbit touched the tip of her nose.

Gojo Satoru nodded in agreement with a straight face: "Tomoyo is really amazing."

In just a few words, the strawberry cake on Xue Tu's plate was almost gone.

He stared at the empty plate for a moment, his eyes clearly showing a hint of unsatisfaction.

Touya sat beside them the whole time, resting his chin on his hand, listening calmly as they talked about those incredibly sweet foods.

Seeing that Yukito's gaze was unconsciously fixed on the plate, he didn't say a word. He simply reached out and pushed his almost untouched piece of cake in front of Yukito.

Yukito paused slightly, "Touya, aren't you going to eat?"

"It's too sweet," Touya said calmly.

"Can I really eat this?"

"Um."

Yukito's smile brightened considerably: "Thank you!"

He happily took the cake, and the first bite he took was the strawberry on top, which he ate with a satisfied look on his face.

Gojo Satoru watched this scene from the side, without rushing to speak.

His gaze swept over the snow rabbit, who was happily eating, before returning to Touya, who was still resting his chin on his hand as if he had only done something trivial. A hint of understanding flashed in his azure eyes.

It turned out to be the case.

This seemingly ordinary home has quite a few interesting things going on.

He was just thinking about observing the two childhood friends a little longer when he suddenly felt a bit of cool, creamy cream on his lips.

Gojo Satoru was taken aback and turned his head to look.

Before anyone knew it, Sumi Kichikawa had picked up the small silver fork.

A small piece of cake was scooped from the fork, with a bit of bright red, tempting strawberry pulp still attached to the edge of the cream, and it was presented directly to his mouth.

Seeing Gojo Satoru turn around, Kigawa Sumi didn't say anything, but simply raised her wrist slightly, signaling him to open his mouth.

Gojo Satoru instantly forgot his desire to watch the spectacle, and his eyes crinkled into crescent moons with laughter.

Without the slightest hesitation, he obediently lowered his head and took the piece of cake into his mouth. His soft lips casually brushed against the tip of the fork, but his gaze remained fixed on Kikawa Sumi's face, not moving an inch away.

"It's delicious," he said with a smile, his words muffled.

"Didn't we already eat?" Sumi asked.

"How can they be the same?"

"What's different?"

Gojo Satoru leaned back on his shoulder with a straight face: "It tastes much sweeter because Sumi fed it herself."

Sumi Kawakawa is already immune to this level of directness.

He pulled out a tissue and casually wiped the cream from Gojo Satoru's lips, whispering, "You can't eat too many sweets; you haven't had dinner yet."

Gojo Satoru immediately protested, "The snow rabbit has already eaten two pieces!"

"A snow rabbit is a snow rabbit."

"But we already agreed to be dessert buddies," Gojo Satoru said confidently.

"When did you make the appointment?"

"Just now," Gojou Satoru said, reaching across half the table to Yukito for confirmation. "Right, Yukito?"

Yukito had just swallowed the cake in her mouth when she heard this, and smiled in perfect agreement, "Yeah. We've made a promise to go eat white peach mille-feuille together next time."

With the strong support of his new comrade, Gojo Satoru turned around, a smug look on his face: "Did you hear that?"

Kikawa Sumi glanced at the stack of empty plates in front of Yukito, then at her ancestor who had just finished eating cake and was already planning for the next meal of pudding. After a few seconds of silence, she could only give in: "You can go eat, but you must also eat your main meal properly."

"Okay—" Gojo Satoru drawled out, agreeing obediently.
