Ms. Gojo thought she was dating an ordinary person's boyfriend.

Chapter 148 "I've liked you for a long time"

Sakura held her teacup, looking at the two of them shoulder to shoulder, and the slight tension in her heart completely dissipated.

This Mr. Gojo was so strikingly handsome that she unconsciously held her breath when she first saw him at the door.

But once I sat down, I realized that he was actually very down-to-earth.

He would bend down to listen attentively to her, exclaim exaggeratedly and sincerely while eating cake, and even engage in back-and-forth banter with Tomoyo.

Even though he would occasionally go over and tease Brother Qichuan, the atmosphere was always light and comfortable.

What Sakura felt most comfortable with was the way he looked at Kikawa-nii.

So gentle, with eyes that only had one person in them.

Just like... the way Snow Rabbit looks at his older brother.

Thinking of this, Sakura mustered her courage and leaned forward: "Mr. Gojo, how did you and Kikawa-nii meet?"

"Well..."

Gojo Satoru drawled out his words, not answering immediately, but turning his head to glance at the person next to him with a half-smile.

As Sumiki Kikawa picked up her black tea, her expression remained calm and composed, but the fingers gripping the cup's handle paused almost imperceptibly.

"It all started with a pudding from a convenience store," Gojo Satoru revealed with a grin.

"Pudding?" Sakura blinked curiously.

"Yeah, there was only one limited edition caramel pudding left on the shelf. Cheng got it first, but then gave it to me."

Kikawa Sumi coughed lightly, trying to cover it up: "Because your face was very pale at the time, you looked like you had low blood sugar. And... you even lied to me and said it was your birthday that day."

"Is that so?" Gojo Satoru rested his chin on his hand, leaned towards him, and began to recount old grievances one by one.

"But after Xiaocheng gave me the pudding, she not only shared the lucky candies that Xiaoying made with me, but also gave me a whole lucky bag full of candies. She even helped me pick out eye drops, invited me home for dinner, and even prepared a special cup and slippers that fit perfectly."

Sumi Kichikawa was rendered speechless by his reading.

Gojo Satoru leaned closer, his pale blue eyes gleaming with a sly smile: "Dr. Kikawa, is this also the kind of 'medical advice' and 'care' given to ordinary patients?"

"……no."

"What is that?" Gojo Satoru persisted.

Sumire Kikawa sighed. He put down his teacup, met Satoru Gojo's teasing gaze, and said in a calm but unusually frank tone, "Because I've liked you for a long time."

Now it was Gojo Satoru's turn to get stuck.

He had only intended to tease the man, but he was caught off guard by this direct question and momentarily forgot to reply.

Sakura, standing next to her, exclaimed "Wow!" and her eyes lit up as if they were filled with stars.

Tomoyo cupped her cheeks and let out a soft, regretful sigh: "Oh dear... I really should have set up the camera in the living room today."

Gojo Satoru snapped out of his daze, a faint blush creeping up his ears, but he stubbornly maintained his composed demeanor.

His lips curled up again, and he turned to look at Sakura, his tone tinged with a hint of smugness: "Did you hear that? It was Sakura who liked me first."

"Mmm!" Sakura nodded vigorously, as if pounding garlic.

"But, well, I was the one who confessed first," Gojo Satoru added smugly.

Sakura looked at this one, then at that one, and finally came to a simple yet truthful conclusion: "So, you all like each other very much."

The little girl's overly blunt words silenced the two adults for a moment.

A moment later, Sumi Kichikawa couldn't help but chuckle softly.

"Yes," he admitted readily.

Gojo Satoru simply leaned most of his weight onto his shoulder, then smiled and said, "That's it."

The conversation flowed freely, and the atmosphere in the living room became increasingly lively.

Gojo Satoru even enthusiastically discussed the dessert map of Tomoeda Town with Sakura. Upon hearing about several well-regarded old shops, he immediately took out his phone and started writing down their addresses.

"The cakes at that shop at the crossroads are delicious too," Sakura enthusiastically recommended. "We ordered them there for Dad's birthday!"

"What about this one?" Gojo Satoru pointed at the screen.

"The pudding here is amazing! But it sells out very early every afternoon."

Limited edition?

"Mmm! Snow Rabbit Bro especially likes them; he can eat so many at once!"

Gojo Satoru paused in his typing, raising an eyebrow: "How many is 'many'?"

Sakura tilted her head back and thought carefully for a moment: "Probably... a dozen or so?"

Gojo Satoru slowly sat up straight from Kikawa Sumi's shoulder, a hint of interest igniting in his azure eyes.

"A dozen or so?"

"Actually, if we let Yukito eat as much as he wanted, he could probably eat even more..." Sakura added very honestly.

"Oh? That's impressive." Gojo Satoru stroked his chin.

Kikawa Sumi glanced at him coolly from the side: "Satoru, don't get competitive in weird places."

"What do you mean?" Gojo Satoru replied matter-of-factly. "I was just curious about someone who shares my refined taste in sweets."

Tomoyo smiled gently from the side and said, "Mr. Yukito and Mr. Touya should be getting off work soon. When he comes back, Mr. Gojo can have a chat with him himself."

"Then I really have to look forward to it."

As soon as Gojo Satoru finished speaking, a series of crisp sounds came from the entrance hall: the clinking of metal keys and the turning of a lock.

With a "click," the door was pushed open.

"I'm back." A slightly deep, somewhat nonchalant male voice came in.

Immediately following was another gentle and clear voice: "Excuse me."

"Ah!" Sakura immediately jumped up from the sofa and ran towards the entryway. "Welcome back, brother! Yukito-nii! We have guests today!"

"guest?"

Touya paused in his shoes.

He was carrying a paper bag with the supermarket logo on it. Hearing this, he looked up and his gaze swept across the hallway to the living room sofa where Sumi Kichikawa was sitting.

"Sichuan?"

Sumi Kikawa stood up and smiled gently at him: "It's been a long time, Touya."

"It has been quite a while indeed." Touya replied casually, his gaze sweeping over Sumi Kikawa before quickly locking onto the unfamiliar man sitting next to him.

Gojo Satoru didn't get up, but leaned back on the sofa with a nonchalant air, meeting Touya's gaze with a rather friendly smile.

The moment their eyes met, Touya, seeing those azure eyes clearly, paused almost imperceptibly.
