We agreed it was just a hug, why did you actually do it?

Chapter 114 A Good Child's Self-Reflection

Often, we don't realize that sometimes it really is just a matter of a single thought that can turn heaven into hell.

Just like sometimes, a single sentence can lead to two completely different lives.

When Tang Shaowu asked Su Weile if she regretted it.

Su Weile looked at Tang Shaowu's eyes, which were suddenly filled with bloodshot veins, and his whole demeanor was gloomy and terrifying.

Su Weile didn't feel that she was in any danger.

He suddenly felt that he might have hurt him. He could sense Tang Shaowu's feelings for him.

He also knew that he genuinely liked Tang Shaowu. Otherwise, he wouldn't have agreed to be with him.

He had no regrets. How could he regret anything? He was willing to do anything for Tang Shaowu.

He just needed some time to adjust, to let his pride adjust to the fact that he had gone from a pure young man burdened with the mission of continuing the family line to a lover of another man.

Such a huge gap in dignity, why can't we give him some time?

But Su Weile's first thought was that he couldn't hurt Tang Shaowu. He didn't want to hurt him; he couldn't bear to see him sad.

Su Weile's tone was harsh, but she shouted with absolute certainty.

"What the hell do I regret? I don't regret anything, I'm a hero with no regrets!"

Tang Shaowu stared at him without saying a word. Although he had received Su Weile's answer that she did not regret it, the anger in his heart still could not be quelled.

He felt that if things continued like this, he might lose control. He didn't want to hurt Su Weile, so he stood up and walked towards the door.

Watching Tang Shaowu's retreating figure, Su Weile felt a little anxious. "Where are you going?"

Tang Shaowu walked out without stopping, ignoring Su Weile's calls for him outside the door.

Su Weile looked at the closed door

"Damn it, Tang Shaowu, I'll make you angry to death sooner or later."

Less than a minute later, two men who looked like bodyguards rushed up from the quiet doorway and stood at attention.

The top floor of the Silver Dream building in the Prince Consort's Manor is Tang Shaowu's private space, where he usually stays when he's at the manor. He had originally planned to bring Su Weile here.

But he said he wanted to go to a hot spring, so we stayed at a hot spring hotel.

At this moment, Tang Shaowu sat quietly in his office chair, gazing at the distant mountains. There should be a night race taking place there, with the mountainsides brightly lit up.

Tang Shaowu suddenly spoke up.

"Uncle Xu, is someone cleaning the house in Youyun Mountain, Jiangcheng?"

Old Xu stiffened. His face turned extremely pale, and it took him a long time to reply.

"Someone has gone to clean up Youyun Mountain. But it's been vacant for too long, and it's probably no longer suitable for living. After all, it's too remote."

Tang Shaowu tapped his fingers on the armrest of the chair.

"Then let someone clean it properly. Maybe sometime I'll bring Su Weile to stay there for a while."

Old Xu's heart sank, and he hesitated for a moment before speaking.

"Young Master Su has always been sunny and lively. Youyun Mountain has always been a place for recuperation. It's too quiet and remote. I'm afraid he won't like it there."

Tang Shaowu's face was hidden in the night, his expression obscured and unclear.

It took a long time before he spoke.

"I've already done so many things he doesn't like, I don't care about doing one more."

Old Xu wanted to speak up and try to persuade him again, but when he saw Tang Shaowu lean back in his chair and close his eyes, he didn't say the words he was about to say.

He simply sighed silently, his heart filled with sorrow.

"Weren't things fine yesterday? How did such a big conflict suddenly occur?"

-------------------------------------

Su Weile lay on the large bed in the hot spring hotel, staring at the small thing. Her expression was very depressed.

After a while, he gritted his teeth, got up, and picked up the thing. He saw that the Chinese medicine pills Tang Shaowu had put inside had all evaporated. It was quite amazing.

Su Weile put in another Chinese medicine capsule. She closed her eyes tightly for a moment. She said to herself...

"What's the big deal? Everyone's had to use a fever-reducing suppository when they were a kid."

Su Weile lay on the bed watching a movie, the light reflecting off the projector illuminating her face. The blush on her face slowly faded halfway through the film.

The movie credits started rolling. Su Weile glanced at the door; Tang Shaowu hadn't returned yet.

Su Weile started to let her imagination run wild. "Where did Tang Shaowu go? Did he go racing again? Or did he go looking for mangosteens and durians again?"

Su Weile was still a little tired. He was thinking and almost fell asleep. Just as his eyes were about to close, he groggily took out his phone and glanced at it. Seeing that Tang Shaowu hadn't sent any messages, Su Weile muttered a curse under his breath.

"Damn Tang Shaowu."

Su Weile slept very restlessly. He had gotten used to having Tang Shaowu around. Usually, he would cling to him like an octopus, or Tang Shaowu would hug him.

Startled awake, Su Weile glanced at his phone. It was the middle of the night, and he was still alone in the room. He softly called out, "Tang Shaowu~? Tang Shaowu~!"

Receiving no answer, Su Weile's heart sank.

He sat up with his phone in his hand and was surprised to find that he felt much better down there, as if he had returned to normal.

"Wow, that's amazing! Isn't that giant ice block from neurosurgery? How come it's even good for buttology? It's an all-powerful ice block!!"

The physical discomfort has subsided, and I've had a good night's sleep.

Su Weile is fully recovered and is sunny and cheerful again.

He lay in bed and thought about his behavior today, realizing that he had indeed been a bit dramatic and perhaps a little pretentious.

After the incident, Tang Shaowu was extremely attentive to him, carrying him to bathe, cleaning him up, and massaging him constantly. He coaxed him to sleep, fed him medicine, and stayed by his side when he had a fever.

It's always been me, my own pride that's making me act so awkwardly. Tang Shaowu is such a sensitive person, he should have noticed my indifference and intentional distancing long ago.

But she held back from saying anything. It wasn't until the two of them had a big argument that she couldn't help but ask if she regretted saying that.

Tang Shaowu was probably always very scared, afraid that she wouldn't accept him, afraid that she wouldn't want to be with him.

Otherwise, she wouldn't have repeatedly emphasized, "I'll do anything, as long as you don't leave me," nor would she have said, "I can wait forever."

Su Weile felt that she was in a bad situation. What was the big deal about such a small thing? She was clearly willing and happy, but she turned on him after it was over, all because of her ridiculous pride.

His main concern right now is that he's a little worried about Tang Shaowu. Su Weile can sense that Tang Shaowu sometimes acts a bit extreme, especially towards himself.

Thinking of this, Su Weile hurriedly picked up the phone, didn't send a message, and dialed the number directly.

After a long beeping sound, there was no answer, and Su Weile's regret deepened.

I shouldn't have called him so late out of spite.

Su Weile continued dialing, and just as he was about to go directly to find the person, the call was suddenly answered. No one spoke, but music came from the receiver, not the kind of depressing and gloomy music that had made him feel depressed last time.

Su Weile listened carefully and realized it was probably the theme song from Twilight.

Neither of them spoke. They listened quietly to the music.

Finally, Su Weile softly spoke, "Tang Shaowu~~"
