After bandaging Lan Xiaoxiao's foot, Uncle Wang began treating Chu Yi's wounds.

Chu Yi didn't dodge, but it didn't cooperate either. Its body was tense the whole time. When Uncle Wang's cotton swab touched the wound, its muscles would twitch, but it didn't cry out or move.

"First year of junior high is great," Uncle Wang said.

I squatted down next to her and watched her, occasionally picking up the bamboo she spat out and eating it.

Lan Xiaoxiao would also peek into the corridor from the railing; the corridor was empty, with not a single person in sight.

Several zookeepers pushed a cart from the other end of the corridor.

There's a panda lying on the stroller!

As the panda drew closer, Lan Xiaoxiao noticed something amiss.

That panda's butt was completely bare!

Its fur was shaved clean from the waist down, exposing its pinkish-white skin, as if it were not wearing pants. One of its hind legs was in a white, thick, and heavy cast, which was slung to the cart by bandages.

The little bear clung to the railing, its big mouth wide open, its eyes crinkling, its whole bear face smiling.
