The black marketeer stood still, letting out a disdainful sneer, and slowly removed his hood and mask.

"Don't make a sound," Fu Yan said softly. "He's asleep."

Maruko tilted her head, snorted, and climbed onto Fu Yan's chest, curling into a ball and pressing tightly against Wenren Lei's cheek.

Wenren Lei's face itched from being brushed by Wanzi's soft fur, and in her half-awake state, she murmured, "Little dog, go away."
