Bei Chenyan stopped and asked, "What is it?"

"Zhang Qinggang sent word to the palace that our men found Shi Peiqiong while arresting Wan's cronies," Wei Yang reported.

"Give her poisoned wine and throw her and the Wan family into the mass grave." Bei Chenyan felt utterly disgusted upon hearing this woman's name.

"Yes," Wei Yang replied, then summoned a guard and said, "Send out the Crown Prince's words."

Nangong Wu glanced at him, "You seem to have overlooked this woman."

"No." Bei Chenyan thought she had misunderstood, so he quickly explained, "On the day we executed Shi Shengqing and his wife, Wan took her away and then secretly sent her away."

"Don't be so nervous, I just mentioned it casually." Nangong Wu turned and walked away. "I'm going back to the East Palace now."

"I'll take you home first." Bei Chenyan strode after her.

"No need, I know the way myself. You go about your business." Nangong Wu waved her hand behind her. "If you need anything, just have someone come find me."

"I'm taking my mother to see that woman tonight. Can you come with us?" Bei Chenyan asked.

Nangong Wu stopped and turned to look at him. "That's a feud between your mother and that woman, so I won't go."

She knew that Bei Chenyan wanted to send that woman on her way, taking his mother with him. He was just talking about the grudges and entanglements between them. Once he finished speaking, that woman should die too!

Bei Chenyan was somewhat disappointed. "Then tell the children that I can't be with them today."

"I understand!" Nangong Wu nodded and led Li Shuang back to the East Palace.
