Nangong Wu went to the men's clothing section and first found him a set of thermal underwear and a sweater.

"Try these clothes on." She opened the outer packaging of the clothes, first showing him how to put them on, then pointed to a fitting room, "Go in there and try them on. If they don't fit, I'll change them for you."

Bei Chenyan carried the clothes and went into the fitting room.

After a while, Bei Chenyan finally came out, his expression somewhat unnatural. "It's fine..."

"That's fine then." Nangong Wu took another black down jacket from the rack. "Try this one on, you can wear it over your clothes."

Bei Chenyan hesitated, looking at the clothes. "Should I wear this now? I'm a little hot."

The temperature here is like springtime, neither too hot nor too cold. I was already wearing two thick layers of clothing and I'm starting to sweat. Wearing another thick layer would really make me hot.

"It's not that cold outside yet, this is for you in advance, just in case it gets very cold when you get there." Nangong Wu came over and helped him put it on and try it on.

"Okay, this is the one. Take it off."

After Bei Chenyan took off his clothes again, she pulled him out of the space.

As soon as the two stepped out of the space, they immediately felt the chilly air.

Bei Chenyan looked around at the environment, which was extremely desolate. There were hardly any trees, not even a single weed. There was no trace of human habitation.

"This place is so desolate, probably no one has ever been here before. Let's head south first."

"Okay." Nangong Wu brought out the helicopter.

Let's go!

The two boarded a helicopter and flew away.

The northern part of the Northern Di Kingdom was truly desolate. The helicopter flew more than 100 kilometers south and did not see a single person.

They walked for a while longer, and Bei Chenyan took out his binoculars to observe, finally discovering houses.

He pointed in a direction towards Nangong Wu.

Nangong Wu understood and landed the helicopter.

As soon as Bei Chenyan stepped out of the cabin, he said to her, "There are houses about twenty miles ahead."

"Since there are houses, there must be people nearby. Let's change horses and walk over." Nangong Wu put away the helicopter and brought out the two horses.

Looking at the two robust horses, Bei Chenyan noticed that in just a few days, their coats had become even shinier, and they were strong, agile, and muscular.

"Your fairyland is truly nurturing; even the horses grow up so well."

Nangong Wu did not answer him, but instead mounted her horse.

These two horses are so healthy because they drank water from the spring pool.

"drive!"

The two rode their horses toward a populated area.

They ran for about ten miles and sure enough, they saw people.

The dozen or so people also rode horses towards the complex of buildings.

"Let's catch up with them."

When the men heard that someone was following them, they pulled on the reins and stopped.

They looked unfamiliar, and their eyes were full of wariness.

"Who are you? What are you doing here?"

"You stay here, I'll go ask them." Bei Chenyan told Nangong Wu to stay here and wait, while he went to ask for directions by himself.

Nangong Wu was too beautiful, and he was afraid that these people would have bad intentions and cause unnecessary trouble.

"We're lost. Could you tell us where we are?" Bei Chenyan asked the group.

Nangong Wu touched the gauze on her face. It was almost healed, but she would need to rest for several more months, and at least a year before she could wear a mask.

A while later, Bei Chenyan returned after asking for directions, and thankfully those people didn't give him any trouble.

"How is it?" Nangong Wu asked him.

"I found out." Bei Chenyan dismounted and took out a map from his pocket to look at it.

Nangong Wu also came over, "Where are we now?"

"In the northeast of the Northern Di Kingdom." Bei Chenyan pointed to a location on the map. "My men are in Chenling City, more than a thousand miles from here. We'll head due west."

"Then let's head over there now," Nangong Wu said.

Bei Chenyan shook his head: "We're not leaving. You need to rest. We'll leave tonight."

Nangong Wu frowned.

It's over a thousand miles, but only a little over two hours by plane. Once we find his people, we might be able to find the Seven-Colored Lotus today.

"We'll rest after we find your people."

"Alright." Seeing that she insisted on leaving, Bei Chenyan had no choice but to agree. "Once we find them, you must rest."

Nangong Wu didn't speak. Seeing that no one was around, she put away the two horses, switched to the helicopter, and flew due west.

Heading west, there were more people than on the east side.

After flying for two hours, Nangong Wu felt it was about time. Seeing houses in the distance, she landed the plane.

They changed horses and asked for directions, and after several twists and turns, they finally found Chenling City, a city that looked very old and dilapidated.

It was already noon.

As Nangong Wu and Beichen Yan traveled this far, they saw almost no place where crops could be grown. Everything was barren, and the weather was so cold. They really didn't know how the local inhabitants fed themselves.

Just like last time, Nangong Wu sat on horseback, while Bei Chenyan led the two horses into the city.

The checks to enter the city are not strict, but everyone has to pay a tael of silver as an entry fee.

Nangong Wu was secretly astonished. Was this a bandit city?

Upon entering Chenling City, the city was not very large, the houses were all built with earthen walls, everything was dusty, and there were not many pedestrians.

Bei Chenyan found a secluded spot so that Nangong Wu could emerge from her spatial dimension.

"Are your people waiting in this Chenling City?" Nangong Wu asked.

"That's what he said in his letter. Let's look for it first," Bei Chenyan said.

Seeing that Nangong Wu was dressed as a woman, passersby cast strange glances at her, some even with ill intentions, and some even whistled frivolously.

Nangong Wu and Bei Chenyan then noticed that all the people walking on the street were men.

Bei Chenyan's face darkened, and the two quickened their pace.

Nangong Wu took out his treasured sword from his spatial storage. "Take this. Strike when the time is right."

Bei Chenyan took the sword, his lips pressed tightly together.

But after walking for a short while, they were stopped by several tall men whose lewd gazes fell on Nangong Wu.

"Boy, leave this woman here, and I'll spare your life. Now get lost."

With a "whoosh," Bei Chenyan drew his sword, pointing it directly at the group of people. "Get lost if you don't want to die!"

However, these people were not afraid of them at all, and instead burst into laughter.

"Kid, a woman like that is fine to play around with, why risk your life?"

"You're courting death!" Bei Chenyan suddenly leaped into the air, his long sword aimed directly at the group of people, his sword strike fierce.

The men's expressions changed drastically, and they quickly dodged back. However, their martial arts skills were far inferior to his, and one of them, who was a little slower, had his head chopped off.

"Ahhh..." A series of screams rang out from the surrounding area.
