Jiang Zhiyu returned to the guesthouse and spread all the collected materials out on the table.

Letters, ledgers, lists, and documents were piled haphazardly on the table. She spent some time sorting and categorizing them, separating Li Jiandang and Zhou Liangping's belongings, and then separating items to be handed over to the state from personal items.

"Seventeen, is there a photocopier you collected before the apocalypse in your space?"

"Yes! Host, would you like to use it?"

"Make a copy of all these documents, keep the originals, and use the copies for distribution."

Seventeen quickly set up a small photocopier. Jiang Zhiyu copied the important documents page by page, creating a thick stack.

"Keep these originals safe; they'll be handed over to the state later. I'll need the copies."

She put the original document away in a secluded corner of the space, and then began to plan her next move.

late at night.

Jiang Zhiyu organized all the copies and put them into several brown paper bags.

Instead of rushing to deliver the package, she dealt with the three people in the space first.

"Seventeen, time stands still for five minutes."

"receive!"

In the instant that time seemed to freeze, Jiang Zhiyu released Li Jiandang and Zhou Liangping from the space.

Li Jiandang had already been taught a lesson by her last night; he was covered in blood and lay motionless on the ground. Zhou Liangping, on the other hand, had no external injuries, but his memory had been erased, and he was currently unconscious.

"Deal with Li Jiandang first."

Jiang Zhiyu's fingertips twitched slightly, and lush green vines sprouted from the ground, binding Li Jiandang's limbs and pulling him outwards. The vines gripped the surrounding door frames and trees, binding Li Jiandang in a spread-eagle position, suspending him at the entrance of the county revolutionary committee. The vines were thick and strong, suspending him in mid-air, a good two meters off the ground. With a gust of wind, his body swayed slightly, like a dead dog hanging from a tree. This scene would surely astonish the entire An County tomorrow. In this era, most people were not highly educated, and although feudal superstition was severely cracked down on, the more it was suppressed, the more these people believed in it, especially such a bizarre scene; they would only think of it as metaphysics.

"Next, we'll deal with Zhou Liangping."

Zhou Liangping was dangling next to Li Jiandang, side by side, also spread-eagled, his entire body tightly bound by the vines. Jiang Zhiyu thought of his parents' tragic state and the scene of their deaths protecting him in the apocalypse. He beat Zhou Liangping without mercy, and soon he was covered in bloodstains, looking even more terrifying than Li Jiandang.

Finally, there was that woman.

Jiang Zhiyu casually tossed her onto the steps of the county revolutionary committee building without harming her—she didn't hit women. But she also erased the woman's memories, leaving her wondering how she got there.

The woman was still wearing the same clothes from that night, covered in suggestive marks; she was clearly not a respectable person. Jiang Zhiyu had checked her memories; this woman had a husband of her own, yet willingly became Li Jiandang's mistress, giving him countless bad ideas. She wouldn't hit such a person, but she didn't intend to let her go either; she believed this experience would stay with her for life.

"Alright, let's go."

Jiang Zhiyu lifted the time freeze.

When time began to flow again, two bloody human-shaped "decorations" appeared at the entrance of the county revolutionary committee, along with a woman lying unconscious on the steps.

After doing all this, Jiang Zhiyu began to send out the photocopies.

She went to the county public security bureau first.

It was late at night, and there wasn't a soul in sight on the street. Jiang Zhiyu stood outside the police station's duty room and scanned the area with her mental energy—inside, a young police officer was dozing off, slumped over the table, his head nodding off.

Without thinking much, Jiang Zhiyu tied the brown paper bag containing the copies to a stone and threw it through the window.

Clang!

With a sharp crack, the dozing police officer sprang from his chair, startled awake. He rubbed his eyes and saw a hole in the window. Just as he was about to curse, he spotted the file folder. He patted his chest and reached for the document.

Seventeen almost burst out laughing when she saw this scene in the space! Are there any hosts this chuunibyou (delusional)? Do any of you have one? Hearing Seventeen's laughter, Jiang Zhiyu's lips twitched as well!

When the young policeman picked up the paper bag and opened it, he saw a thick stack of documents inside. He casually flipped through them, and his expression instantly changed.

When he saw the list, it contained Zhou Liangping's name, along with detailed amounts of bribes and dates. Further on, there were records of raids; behind the shocking figures lay countless lives lost.

The more he looked, the more horrified he became, and his hands began to tremble.

"Is...is this real?"

He dared not delay and immediately picked up the phone to call his superior.

Jiang Zhiyu stood outside the window, watching him finish the call before quietly leaving.

Next up is the county people's procuratorate.

Jiang Zhiyu followed the same procedure and threw another copy into the duty room.

The person on duty this time was a middle-aged man. When he saw the window was smashed, he first cursed, "Which bastard did this?" before picking up the paper bag from the ground.

He opened the document, glanced at it a few times, and his expression changed.

"Zhou Liangping? Isn't that the director of our Anxian Revolutionary Committee?"

He looked down, and the more he looked, the more horrified he became. When he saw the list of female educated youth who had been forced into prostitution, his hands trembled.

"These beasts!"

He swore and grabbed the phone to make a call.

Jiang Zhiyu nodded in satisfaction and turned to go to the last location.

County Armed Forces Department.

Jiang Zhiyu did not resort to the old method of smashing windows again—the people in the armed forces department were more vigilant than those in other units, and smashing windows would easily cause misunderstandings.

She stood outside the courtyard wall and scanned the inside with her mental power. The lights were on in the armed forces department courtyard, and several people were chatting in the duty room.

"Throwing it in directly could easily cause problems." She thought for a moment, "Seventeen, could we pinpoint the location of the armed forces department leadership?"

"Sure! The second room on the east side of the second floor of the main building should be the room with the duty officer."

Jiang Zhiyu teleported to the second-floor corridor of the main building, and after confirming that no one was around, she placed the brown paper bag on the door of the leader's office and then gently knocked on the door.

As soon as she heard footsteps inside, she teleported into the courtyard and hid in the shadows.

Who is it?

The door opened, and a middle-aged man in military uniform poked his head out. Seeing a paper bag on the ground, he picked it up with some confusion.

He opened it and his expression instantly turned serious.

"Xiao Wang, Xiao Li, come and take a look at this!"

Two people from the duty room ran over, and the three of them gathered around to look at the document.

"Zhou Liangping? The director of our Anxian Revolutionary Committee?"

"And then there's Li Jiandang, the director of the Revolutionary Committee of Kaoshan Town..."

Is this evidence authentic?

"It looks real. Look at this stamp, and the signature..."

"No, this is a huge deal, we need to report it immediately!"

The three of them discussed for a few moments, and one of them picked up the phone and started dialing. The document Jiang Zhiyu gave to the county's armed forces department was the original, but she hadn't included the information about Li Jiandang and his uncle's activities in Kyoto; she would save it for when they arrived in Kyoto.

Jiang Zhiyu watched them get to work before quietly leaving.

After finishing these tasks, Jiang Zhiyu did not return to the guesthouse, but instead began another task under the cover of night.

She took out the valuables she had taken from Zhou Liangping and Li Jiandang's homes from her spatial storage—most of which had been confiscated from those whose homes had been ransacked and should have been returned to their rightful owners.

"Seventeen, compile a list of these people's addresses."

"receive!"

Seventeen quickly compiled a list: the owner of the silk shop in the south of the city, a family of three, although the owner was dead, still had an elderly mother living in a small alley on the edge of the county town; the owner of the woodworking shop in the north of the city, whose family moved to the suburbs after their home was confiscated; and several other families, most of whom were living in poverty.

Jiang Zhiyu went to each household on the list.

Deep in a narrow alley in the south of the city, there was a dilapidated wooden door. Jiang Zhiyu scanned it with her spiritual power—there was only an old woman with white hair inside, huddled in a corner, probably with no one to talk to.

Her heart clenched.

The old woman was once the mother of a wealthy silk shop owner, but now she lives a life worse than that of an ordinary person.

Jiang Zhiyu did not disturb her, but quietly climbed over the wall and placed the things that belonged to her family—a box of silk, a few pieces of jewelry, and a small bag of silver dollars—at her doorstep. She also placed some banknotes and a small bag of grain next to them.

After doing all this, she left silently.

Next one, in the northern suburbs of the city.

The owner of the woodworking shop, surnamed Zhang, was in his forties. After his home was raided, his family moved to a dilapidated thatched house.

She didn't show herself, but instead placed his belongings—parts of a set of mahogany furniture and several wooden carvings—in the grass in front of his house, along with some banknotes. Then she knocked on his gate.

After she left, Boss Zhang discovered the "surprise" at the door and was stunned for a while before he realized what it was.

"These are...something from my house? How did they get here?"

He looked up and around, but couldn't see a single person.

Jiang Zhiyu went from house to house, returning all the confiscated property to its rightful owners. Some items had already been absorbed by the spatial dimension and couldn't be returned, so she kept extra money and grain as compensation.

"Host, you're paying off a debt," Seventeen sighed in her mind.

"Paying back debts is a matter of course," Jiang Zhiyu said. "Some of these people had their homes ransacked because of their bad class background, while others were wrongly accused. Their lost belongings have now been returned to their rightful owners, which can be considered a form of compensation."

By the time I finished all that, it was almost dawn.

Jiang Zhiyu rubbed her slightly sore eyes, took out a cup of spiritual spring water from her spatial storage, and drank it all in one gulp. The cool spring water slid down her throat, sweeping away her fatigue and making her feel refreshed.

"Okay," she thought to herself, "it's time to go back and pick up Mom and Dad."

She teleported back to the guesthouse, lay on her bed in her room for a while, and closed her eyes to rest.

It's time to go back and teach that woman Jiang Wenwen a lesson!
