Amidst the family's tension and stumbles, Song Zhiyao turned three years old.

She speaks fluently now, and her personality, which seems to have come from someone else, is undeniably cute and gentle, like a soft, sticky dumpling, but she can be quite rough with her hands. She can't control her powers yet, and when she gets excited while holding hands with other children, she unintentionally causes them to break out in rashes. Jiang Zhiyu has now strictly forbidden her from having any physical contact with strangers, and the little girl can only look up at her mother with pitiful eyes.

"Mommy, why can't I hold hands with other kids?"

Jiang Zhiyu hugged the little girl tightly, pinching her soft cheeks. "Because you can't control the little cloud inside you yet. When it behaves itself, you can play with other children."

"Then, Mom, will you teach me?"

"OK."

Jiang Zhiyu stretched out her palm, and with a slight thought, a faint black mist appeared in her palm. It was the poison she had already refined, as docile as a ball of cotton.

"Honey, look how cute this little cloud is in Mommy's hand!"

"cute!"

"Then touch it with your hand."

Song Zhiyao curiously stretched out her small hand, and the moment her fingertips touched the black mist, it instantly burrowed into her body. Because it had been refined by Jiang Zhiyu, it was absorbed without any adverse effects.

Jiang Zhiyu took out another poisonous plant from her spatial storage. Its leaves were bright green and looked unremarkable, but the veins of the leaves had a faint bluish tinge.

"Look at this little blade of grass, touch it."

Song Zhiyao touched a leaf with her finger, and her little hand visibly turned bluish, spreading from her fingertip to the back of her hand. The little girl looked down at her hand, not afraid at all, but rather finding it quite amusing.

"Call out the little cloud inside your body, then take this little blue cloud in your hand back in, little by little, don't rush."

Song Zhiyao frowned, pursed her lips, and tried earnestly. She could feel the warm power surging within her body, but she couldn't control it no matter what she did, and sweat beaded on her nose from frustration. After several attempts, the bluish tinge seemed to be drawn away by something, slowly receding from the back of her hand, taking a full cup of tea's time to completely disappear.

......

When Song Yanzhou entered the house, he saw his wife and daughter staring at each other in the yard.

He stood at the door for a while, somewhat nervous, afraid that his daughter wouldn't be able to learn or that something might go wrong. Song Zhizheng, sitting on a small stool beside him, watched his sister and mother expressionlessly, without saying a word.

Song Yanzhou walked over and sat down next to his son. This son really took after him; he was so quiet, acting like a little adult all the time. But he knew his sister very well. Every time Song Zhiyao was about to lose control of her powers, this kid could sense it in advance, either pulling her back or calling for an adult. There had never been a problem.

After studying for half a month, Song Zhiyao's progress was inconsistent. Sometimes she was on a roll, controlling the toxins with ease, even faster than Jiang Zhiyu had expected; other times she made a mistake and forgot everything she had learned in half a month, still letting things slip by as they should.

Seventeen hesitated for a moment before telling the truth in Jiang Zhiyu's mind, "Young Master has high talent, but zero self-control."

Jiang Zhiyu wasn't in a hurry; the child was still young, so they could take it slow.

......

That afternoon, Jiang Zhiyu took the two little ones to her parents' yard.

In two years, Grandpa and Grandma had fully adapted to life in China. Shen Peiyu had filled the yard with medicinal herbs and flowers; half the garden was filled with Chinese medicinal herbs, and the other half with roses and jasmine, filling the yard with fragrance every evening. Su Jinglun was playing chess with Jiang Boxun in the pavilion, the two locked in a fierce and evenly matched battle.

Seeing his two darlings and granddaughter arrive, Su Jinglun stood up abruptly, "You two little darlings are here! Did you miss your great-grandfather today?"

Song Zhiyao immediately called out sweetly, "Great-Grandpa, I missed you so much!"

Song Zhizheng nodded with a stern face.

Su Wanqing came out of the kitchen, took Song Zhizheng from her arms, and kissed him on the cheek. "Come on, little darling, give Grandma a smile."

Song Zhizheng forced a smile for his grandparents.

Song Zhiyao immediately objected, breaking free from Jiang Zhiyu's hand and running over, "Grandma, look at mine, look at mine!"

He then gave her an incredibly bright smile, revealing two small tiger teeth.

Su Wanqing was amused by her and led one of them to the dining room, saying, "Come on, come on, let's eat. Grandma made pork ribs today."

......

At the dinner table, Su Wanqing served food to her two children, casually remarking, "The first graduating class is starting to graduate one after another. And let me tell you, this first class was the most hardworking. Every day they lined up before the library even opened, and they were still studying in the corridors after lights out."

Jiang Zhiyu nodded, "Because they know this opportunity is so rare, they cherish it all the more."

"Yes, these are the easiest batch of students I've ever taught," Jiang Boxun chimed in. "They're graduating soon; time really flies."

As they were talking, the courtyard gate was pushed open with a "bang," and Su Wenhao rushed in.

"I'm back!"

In the past two years, he has been traveling between Bei'an County and Gangcheng with Shen Muyan. He had just returned from the United States a few months ago when Jiang Zhiyu sent him there. He was tanned dark, but he became much more composed and walked with a confident stride, looking like a capable person.

Jiang Zhiyu glanced at him and said, "Oh, isn't this President Su? Your business is even bigger than my cousin's now. Does that mean even my cousin can't lecture you anymore?"

Su Wenhao immediately reverted to his previous playful demeanor, grinning as he leaned closer, "My dear cousin, stop teasing me. But speaking of which, why were you guys eating secretly without inviting me?"

Su Jinglun glared at him. "Who knew you'd be back today? Is everything going smoothly in Bei'an County? Don't ruin your cousin's business."

"No, don't worry, Grandpa!" Su Wenhao pulled out a chair and sat down, picking up a piece of pork rib with his chopsticks. "Even Shen Muyan praised my business acumen. I've done several projects myself now, and I'll have my cousin review them later."

"You can make your own decisions; I don't have time to do those things."

"I know you're busy," Su Wenhao mumbled, chewing on a rib. "But I really want to thank you, cousin. Shen Muyan is really amazing; he always manages the money perfectly, keeps clear accounts, and transfers it all to your account without any problems. Little cousin, no one in our family is as rich as you."

He hurriedly ate a couple of mouthfuls of rice, pushed the bowl away, and immediately went to look at Song Zhiyao and Song Zhizheng.

Shen Peiyu shook her head helplessly, "How come this uncle isn't as steady as our Zhizheng?"

"Who knows? That girl just happens to be a perfect match for her uncle. Even I, as her mother, can't compare to him." Su Wanqing put a piece of food on her mother's plate. "He just loves taking the two kids out for rides. Every time he comes back, he puts them on his motorcycle for a spin. My heart is in my throat. But seeing how happy the two kids are, I don't want to spoil the fun."

Jiang Zhiyu smiled and said, "Mom, don't worry about it. Let them be. My cousin knows what he's doing."

Su Wanqing sighed, then smiled, "You're right, I'm just an old woman who worries too much."

The sound of Su Wenhao starting his motorcycle came from outside the courtyard, accompanied by Song Zhiyao's giggles and Song Zhizheng's quiet "Uncle, slow down." Shen Peiyu put down her chopsticks and was about to chase after him when Su Wanqing stopped her.

"Mom, eat your food. Let them play."
