Jiang Zhiyu returned to Beijing in the evening.

Su Wanqing was enjoying the cool air in the courtyard when she saw her daughter enter, and only then did she feel completely relieved.

Jiang Zhiyu looked at the two little ones in the cradle. The little girl had just finished nursing, with a trace of milk still on the corner of her mouth, and her two little hands were flailing about in the air. Jiang Zhiyu used her supernatural ability to gently probe her daughter's poison-type supernatural energy fluctuations; they were very stable, even more restrained than when she was first born.

Seventeen's voice rang in his mind, its tone quite serious: "Host, you have two little brats to worry about now, and another one you've almost forgotten about. Do you want to go in and take a look?"

"Who are you looking at?"

"Su Ran. Her time is almost up. Do you want to go into her spatial dimension to take a look?"

Jiang Zhiyu was taken aback for a moment, "If you hadn't reminded me, I would have really forgotten that there was such a person in the space."

The last time she saw Su Ran was a year ago. Seventeen had said that Su Ran had gone mad half a year ago, acting completely insane, claiming everything in the space as her own, and screaming at anyone who got close.

"Okay, I'll check on the two kids first."

Seeing her daughter was about to go back to her room, Su Wanqing didn't ask any questions and went next door with the child's dirty clothes. Jiang Zhiyu went into her room, locked the door from the inside, and closed the windows tightly. She put her son in Seventeen's arms, held her daughter, and with a thought, the two of them entered the spatial dimension.

……

On the highest mountain, Su Ran was firmly tied to a boulder by Seventeen using vines.

In just over a year, she had become emaciated, her cheekbones protruding high and her wrists as thin as withered branches. But the fruit in the space nourished her, and her face remained clean, only her eyes were no longer right, cloudy and unfocused, occasionally flashing a glimmer of light before quickly dimming.

Hearing footsteps, Su Ran looked up.

She saw Jiang Zhiyu holding a baby in her arms, with a rosy face and big, dark eyes looking around.

"You've finally shown up again." Su Ran's voice was hoarse, like sandpaper grinding against a stone. "These are all mine. You stole my space. I'm clearly the female lead of this world. I came here with the plot, I have all the foresight... It's all your fault, you stole everything from me."

Jiang Zhiyu wasn't in a hurry, so she just stood there watching her.

Su Ran's eyes passed over Jiang Zhiyu and stared at the distant spiritual spring, fruit trees, and medicinal fields. Suddenly, her eyes lit up again, but the light was not from clarity; it was from madness.

"These are all mine... You stole everything from me..."

Jiang Zhiyu lowered her head and pinched her daughter's little face. Silently activating her wood-type ability, a rattan chair grew from the rock wall behind her. The vines were woven in a fine and soft way, and the backrest was covered with a few green leaves. She sat down and held her daughter steadily in her arms.

"You've been here for over a year now." Her tone was flat, as if she were chatting with a complete stranger. "It seems there are still some things you haven't figured out."

Su Ran stared at her, panting heavily.

"The fact that you were able to travel through time means you were born with good fortune." Jiang Zhiyu extended a finger and gently tapped her daughter's small hand. "But have you ever thought about how this good fortune slowly disappeared?"

She kissed her daughter's cheek again, and the little one wrinkled her nose, seemingly not feeling well.

"Because you want something that doesn't belong to you."

She paused.

"We're both time travelers, so why are we treated so differently? Have you ever wondered why?"

Su Ran stared blankly at her, her lips moving a few times, but she couldn't say anything.

"Of course it's because you stole the space," Su Ran suddenly became excited, the vines tightening around her wrist, "so your luck will only get better and better."

"So," Jiang Zhiyu continued, "you think that as long as you seize the space, good fortune will automatically follow?"

Su Ran was stunned.

"Some things can't be taken by force." Jiang Zhiyu looked down at her daughter in her arms, her voice softening. "Since you possess prophetic abilities, why not use them to first change your own situation, then influence those around you, and ultimately even alter the landscape of a nation?"

Su Ran's eyes suddenly turned resentful. She struggled to lunge forward, but was held back tightly by the vines.

"You're from the apocalypse! You have superpowers! You've stolen a spatial dimension! Changing anything you want is easy for you! And me? I'm just an ordinary person from the future! What do I have to compete with you?"

Jiang Zhiyu looked into her eyes, very calmly.

"This isn't about identity, I'll rob too! But do you know where all the stuff I robbed is?" Su Ran shouted hoarsely.

"I've handed it all over to the country."

Su Ran's voice stopped abruptly.

"Only when this country is stronger can its destiny and your own fortune intertwine and complement each other. First comes the great power, then the individual family." Jiang Zhiyu looked into Su Ran's empty eyes, her tone completely flat. "At least I can tell you with certainty now that my time travel will allow China to progress by at least twenty years. What did you do? Try to seize space, plunder China, and then run abroad?"

Su Ran suddenly raised her head, her eyes wide open.

"I don't believe it... I don't believe it..."

"What don't you believe? You've seen those two aircraft carriers at sea; they've already been handed over to the country."

"I don't believe you handed it over to the country and didn't ask for anything in return!" Su Ran screamed.

Jiang Zhiyu smiled.

"You guessed right, I really didn't want anything."

She looked down at her daughter in her arms. The little girl had already closed her eyes and fallen asleep, her breathing even, her little fists clenched tightly.

"Perhaps because I traveled from the apocalypse, I understand even more how precious this peace is. What's so important to you is even more important to me than this peaceful present."

Su Ran stopped speaking. Her eyes slowly lost focus, and she was still muttering something, her voice growing softer and softer.

"Mine...all mine..."

Seventeen's voice rang out, "Host, she's dying."

Jiang Zhiyu didn't say anything more. She stood up, holding her daughter, and walked towards her son, who was still babbling in Seventeen's arms.

……

As we descended from the mountaintop and passed a meadow, the bushes in the distance suddenly stirred.

Jiang Zhiyu stopped in her tracks, almost bursting out laughing.

Tiger Tyrant emerged from the bushes, followed by seven or eight furry tiger cubs. The largest one was already half a person's height, while the smallest was still stumbling and staggering as it ran, its four short legs tripping and swaying.

"You're really living life to the fullest, aren't you?" Jiang Zhiyu reached out and patted Hu Batian's head.

Hu Batian comfortably squinted his eyes and let out a low snoring sound.

"Of course, host. There's plenty of prey here, and the water we drink is from a spiritual spring. This guy's intelligence is like that of a teenager, and he manages the tiger pack very well."

Tiger Tyrant slowly scurried over and looked down at the two children in Jiang Zhiyu's arms. It gently nudged Jiang Zhiyu's arm with its big head, as if to say, "Please lift up the little one so I can see it."

Jiang Zhiyu lifted her son up and brought him closer to Hu Batian.

"Look, this is your little master." She patted her son's bottom. "When he's a little older, I'll bring him in to play with you. He's too small now, you might just slap him away."

Tiger Overlord nodded in a very human-like manner, then nudged the child with his head, his fluffy tail brushing against the baby's little feet. Several tiger cubs also came over, curiously sniffing the air. One of the bolder ones stretched out its paw to pat the baby's hand, but Tiger Overlord slapped it back.

"Alright, I won't disturb your happy family gathering any longer. I'll come see you again next time."
