"You must be Yunzhou, right?"

The woman tilted her head, her voice languid, with a hint of huskiness at the end.

Those upturned eyes slid from Lu Yunzhou's face to the travel bag in his hand, then back again, unhurriedly.

"it's me."

Lu Yunzhou responded.

My gaze involuntarily swept down her face, down to her collarbone, waistline, and the silhouette accentuated by her loungewear skirt.

The sound of slippers clicking on the floor came from the inner room. Ye Churan peeked out from the direction of the kitchen, holding a half-peeled cucumber in her hand, her apron slightly damp, and smiling.

"Yunzhou is back, come in. This is my best friend from college, Liu Ruyan. You can just call her Aunt Liu."

Lu Yunzhou glanced at Liu Ruyan's ageless face and smiled, "Teacher Ye, calling her Aunt Liu is too formal. With her wavy hair, who would dare call Sister Ruyan 'Auntie'? It's more intimate to call her Sister Ruyan."

She looked up at him, a slight smile playing on her lips, and something unreadable in her eyes.

It wasn't anger, nor embarrassment; it was more like an expression of being amused.

"How's it going now that we're married?"

The voice was languid, with the last syllable drawn out.

"Wouldn't it be even more exciting if we got married?"

Lu Yunzhou's mind went blank for a moment.

This woman, she dares to say anything.
