Zerg: The female warrior's male master is acting strangely!

Chapter 15 Playing with Building Blocks with the Little One

After breakfast, Wenshu carried the baby to the carpet in the living room.

Holoi blinked, said "Father, wait for me," and then ran to various corners, rummaging through several boxes of building blocks that she had secretly hidden away, as well as a small ball toy that could light up.

These were all bought for him by his female father, 'Heroine'.

When Manjushri looked at the little toy that the baby had brought over, he paused for two seconds before immediately sitting down cross-legged and playing with the baby.

At first, Heroiyi was a little reserved.

When his father handed him a building block, he would first look up at his father's expression before carefully taking it.

When he builds the second layer of blocks, his hand will pause for a moment, and he will secretly observe whether his father frowns.

It wasn't until Manjushri deliberately built his tower of blocks crookedly, then collapsed with a "crash," and exaggeratedly exclaimed "Ouch!" that Heroie finally burst out laughing.

The little tail, which had been stiff at first, slowly and gradually relaxed.

Finally, it simply swung its tail along the carpet, the fluffy tip occasionally brushing against Manjushri's calves, causing a ticklish sensation.

While Wenshu helped the little one build blocks, he secretly chuckled to himself.

He watched as Heroi's little hands clumsily grasped the building blocks and stacked them up little by little;

When they reached the fifth layer, the entire tower began to sway. Heroyi's little face tightened; she held her breath and carefully placed the last piece on top...

Unfortunately, a sudden "crash" was heard, and the block tower collapsed.

Holoi paused for a moment, then burst into laughter, her eyes crinkling with mirth, and the insect trembled...

Looking at that little face with its curved eyebrows, Manjushri felt incredibly warm inside.

He reached out and ruffled Holoiyi's hair, then handed her a building block, raising an eyebrow as he asked, "One more time?"

Holoi nodded emphatically: "Yes!"

And so, a new round of "building blocks" began.

This time, the little one seemed to have found a trick, and built it more steadily than before, stacking it up to the seventh layer in one go.

Wenshu cheered him on from the side, his voice low, deliberately creating a tense atmosphere. Heroyi was both nervous and amused, and his little hands were trembling.

The two insects huddled together on the carpet, playing round after round, until finally, Holoi successfully built the first nine-story tower of blocks in their insect lives!!!

He was so excited he almost jumped off the carpet, raised his hands above his head and spun around. The moment he stopped spinning, he stretched out his forearm and pointed at his father. But when he turned his head, he found his father looking at him with a 'caring' expression.

Heroyee's face flushed red, and her raised hand froze in mid-air for a few seconds before she lowered it shyly.

Just as Manjushri was about to praise him, suddenly, a sharp and urgent electronic alarm sounded!

"Beep! Beep! Beep!"

001, dragging its round, silver-gray body, is rushing out of the kitchen at top speed!

Manjushri was startled by the sudden commotion from 001.

Mistakenly believing that the machine had awakened "self-awareness," he prepared to immediately turn the tables and kill him and his baby!

However, the next second, an electronic mechanical sound came from 001's speaker:

[Based on system assessment: The main insect has exceeded the recommended feeding time by one hour.]

Delayed nutrient intake will negatively impact the health of male insects!!!

[001 has activated a mandatory reminder mechanism: Master Insect, please order your meal]

As the notification tone ended, the transparent menu screen above 001 lit up with a "whoosh," and a red warning even flashed on the menu page, as if it would explode the next second if you didn't order food.

Manjushri blinked, then realized that lunchtime had already passed.

Meanwhile, Heroiyi, who was standing to the side, belatedly realized what was happening after hearing 001's prompt.

He glanced at the clock hanging high on the wall, then at his father. His big eyes first flashed with surprise (after all, his father had been with him for so long, never showing any impatience, never leaving halfway, and never saying "play by yourself").

Immediately afterwards, the joy in his heart was overshadowed by another kind of bad mood.

Herroy's little face immediately tensed up.

He remembered what his female father had told him: the male insect's body is very fragile; it cannot be tired, hungry, cold, or hot... basically, it won't do.

When his female father gave him these words, his expression and tone were particularly serious, as if he were instructing him on something of paramount importance!

Heroie couldn't help but turn to look at her father again, though she was already panicking inside.

Will the father go hungry?

Will I get sick?

Will it make you feel uncomfortable?

The more he thought about it, the more uneasy he became. His little eyebrows furrowed more and more, and he even stopped wagging his tail, which he had finally managed to free. The whole insect looked sullen.

As soon as Manjushri's gaze shifted from 001 to the baby, he noticed that the baby's little face had changed from "happy" to "worried".

His first reaction was, "Oh no!"

Have you already starved the baby?

After all, Heroiyi is so thin and small. Although she drank two cups of milk, ate an egg pancake, and had a bowl of meat porridge for breakfast, her body had been deprived for so long...

They're probably starving by now, but they just don't dare say it.

Wenshu's heart tightened, and he quickly pulled Heroiyi off the carpet and sat him in his arms, while reaching for the menu screen floating above 001 with his other hand.

"Come on, Yi Yi, see what you want to eat?" Wen Shu even pushed the screen towards the little one.

Herroy shook her head: "Just call him a father."

"How can that be?"

Wenshu smiled helplessly and said, "Even Xiongfu doesn't know what Yiyi likes to eat."

What if we order all the foods that Yi-Yi doesn't like?

He thought for a moment and suggested again, "How about Yi Yi and Xiong Fu order together?"

"Yi Yi can say one, and Xiong Fu can say one, okay?"

Holoi hesitated for a moment, but then nodded slightly: "Mm."

Wenshu held the baby, swiped his finger twice on the screen, ordered a steamed meatloaf that looked rather light, then looked down at the baby in his arms: "Alright, it's Yiyi's turn."

Heroiyi pursed her lips, neither speaking nor moving.

Wenshu waited two seconds, but received no response. Misunderstanding that the little one didn't like it, she proactively switched to the next page: "What about these? Yiyi, see if there's anything you want to eat?"

Heroui remained motionless, his gaze drifting over the colorful pictures of the dishes, but never settling on anything.

He didn't know how to answer.

He rarely gets the chance to eat at the table, and even when he is allowed to, he doesn't dare to put his chopsticks into the dishes.

As a result, he had no idea what he liked to eat. Even though the pictures of the dishes on the screen looked delicious, he couldn't tell which one he wanted.

Most importantly, he had already eaten a lot for breakfast, probably the amount he would have eaten over several days in the past.

So it's okay if he doesn't eat lunch.
