Zerg: The female warrior's male master is acting strangely!

Chapter 129 Real-time Monitoring of Mental Strength

After a while, the few-month-old female insects in the yard finished their first round of inspections, and each of them opened their mouths wide and cried incessantly.

Their tiny voices howled with deafening force, rising and falling in unison, making the whole room sound like it had exploded...

The seven- and nine-year-old female insects immediately swarmed around, trying to coax the insects by making awkward "oh oh oh" sounds, just like the zookeepers. But they themselves were still just kids, so how could they possibly know how to coax the insect babies?

So much so that the little female insects didn't listen at all. The more they tried to coax them, the louder they cried. They waved their little claws and kicked their little legs wildly, crying until their faces were red and they were out of breath.

Due to a severe shortage of caretakers, Abby and Ace alone had several insects crammed into their arms. They were coaxing and patting them while two of them clung to their backs, refusing to get down. They were extremely busy.

As he stood beside the medical equipment, the veins on his forehead throbbed. He turned his head and saw that one of the two male insects was in a flustered state, and just as he stopped patting the one in his arms, the other started howling again.

The other one tried to help, but the more he tried, the more chaotic things became. Two of the insects crawled out of his arms and were now scurrying all over the mat...

Only Herroyen picked out an easy-going bug (already asleep) to hug, and stood next to Manjushri, chattering incessantly, his mouth opening and closing as he uttered a string of sarcastic remarks.

Unable to bear it any longer, Sirland slammed down the data report in his hand and strode over. Without saying a word, he took the sleeping insect cub from his unfilial son's arms, gently placed it on the empty cradle, and covered its little belly.

Then, grabbing Heroion by the collar with one hand, he dragged him to the center of the area where the crying little females were clustered together, pointed at the ring of wailing little creatures, and uttered three words:

Go and comfort her.

After giving his instructions, he turned and left, leaving Holoyen alone among a group of little female insects crying their hearts out. His relaxed brows instantly furrowed into a deep frown.

Then, Xierland walked up to Wenshu and Lin Zhuoran.

Manjushri was holding a baby that had cried itself out and was patting its back. When the baby saw him coming, it stood up straight, looking bewildered.

Meanwhile, Lin Zhuoran, who was standing next to him, was holding another one, his face beaming with enthusiastic flirtatiousness.

Sierland's gaze swept over the two insects, and after a few seconds, he said to Manjushri without hesitation, "Put the insect cubs back on the mat and come with me."

Manjushri looked bewildered, but he was extremely obedient and immediately did as he was told. He gently placed the little female insect in his arms back on the cushion and then quickly followed behind Sirland.

Not far away, Heroiyi, who was playing with the little bug with Ayou, had red eyes because he was afraid that Sirland would scold or beat the male father.

But then the female father's words, "If you mess around again next time, I'll teach you a lesson," echoed in her mind. Her short legs took half a step and then shrank back, leaving her only able to watch her male father's back with anxious eyes.

As for Lin Zhuoran, he overheard Sirland discussing with the doctors three minutes earlier that he wanted to witness the entire process of a male insect interacting with a female insect and use instruments to detect the fluctuation value of mental energy on the spot.

So, after dragging Holoyen away in Sylland, he took the opportunity to swap the crying bug cub in his arms with the quiet cub in Manjushri's arms, just waiting to be praised for "doing a good job of coaxing" and then being taken away naturally.

As it turned out, Sirland didn't play by the rules and left with Manjushri without even giving him a second glance.

Lin Zhuoran sighed silently, outwardly feigning composure, but inwardly he was crying: Waaaaaah!

Only the little insect in his arms looked up at him and giggled, its little hands grabbing and tugging at his collar, as if it found the male insect's expression more amusing than crying.

Lin Zhuoran glared at the little bug, but couldn't bear to really hurt it. In the end, he could only sigh again and again, resignedly continuing to hold the cute little guy, muttering to himself, "Never mind, I'll go coax the baby. Do whatever you want."

The examination room next door.

Sierland led Manjushri to a testing bed and gestured for him to sit down.

Manjushri sat obediently, his hands on his knees, his back straight, like a primary school student being called in for a private talk by his homeroom teacher.

Before speaking, Sirland took a palm-sized silver wristband from the instrument table next to him and fastened it to Manjushri's left wrist without saying a word. The sensor on the inside of the wristband lit up with a faint blue light when it was pressed against the skin, and then went dark.

"A zookeeper will be bringing over a few cubs later," Sirland said, adjusting the data on the instrument screen in a businesslike tone. "Just interact with them as usual, hold them or comfort them, no need to do anything special."

"This instrument will monitor your mental energy fluctuations in real time, and at the same time record the insect's mental sea reactions."

After he finished speaking, he raised his eyelids and glanced at Manjushri. "Remember, just perform normally."

Manjushri nodded, feeling a little nervous but mostly expectant!

If we can capture the synchronization data of the mental energy between the male insect and the female insect during their interaction on the spot, it would be much more convincing than comparing it with a medical report afterward.

He glanced behind Sirland subconsciously and saw through the transparent glass panel in the middle of the door that Heroyen was surrounded by seven or eight crying little female insects.

Standing amidst a group of tiny creatures barely reaching his legs, his towering 1.9 meters tall figure, he stretched out his arms with a dark expression, wanting to hug one but unsure which to hug first. The whole creature resembled a towering pillar trapped in a pile of toys.

Manjushri couldn't help but curl the corners of his mouth into a smile, but was startled by a calm look from Sirland and swallowed it back.

Even if he doesn't know what he's afraid of.

Meanwhile, Sirland was also somewhat bewildered. Why had this guy become so timid?

Did his unfilial son eat it?

Less than two minutes later, Abby came in carrying three two-month-old female insects.

The three insect cubs had clearly been crying, their eyes were still red, but when Abby placed them next to Manjushri's legs, they instantly felt much better, just like always.

They first tilted their heads to examine the male insect in front of them, and then, as if they had smelled a familiar scent, they rushed to snuggle into Manjushri's embrace.

Manjushri quickly opened his arms and gathered all three together, tucking one into the crook of his arm, placing one against his chest, and simply letting the third sit on his lap.

He spoke to them with his head down, his voice soft and gentle. The three little female insects were initially sobbing, but soon quieted down, their tiny claws clutching at Manjushri's clothes, and one of them even began to snore softly...

Sierland stood beside the instrument, his eyes fixed on the screen.
