Zerg: The female warrior's male master is acting strangely!
Chapter 126 "Ayou, this is my father-in-law!"
Herroyen and Iee casually found a place to sit down. He was dressed casually today, with his dark coat open and his long legs casually crossed. He looked like he was on vacation.
A morning breeze blew in from the other side of the courtyard wall, carrying the scent of grass and earth. All around were the chirping sounds of the little female insects lining up, but it wasn't too noisy.
He was just thinking about whether he should take a nap on the starship later when he caught a glimpse of a figure walking from the other side of the courtyard gate—Silki, a retired female soldier whose steps were still nimble.
"Marshal," Sirchi approached and nodded slightly in greeting.
"Long time no see," Herroyen immediately stood up and tugged at Iy's arm, signaling him to say hello.
Herroy greeted him very politely: "Hello, Uncle Sirchi."
Sirchi smiled, his gaze sweeping over Holoiyi, and said, "So Yiyi is the Marshal's insect offspring. It seems the Marshal is very fortunate."
These words carried a deeper meaning, and Herroyen could tell that the other person meant, "It's such a blessing to have such a plump and lively female insect offspring."
Holoyen chuckled and shook his head: "Very mischievous."
"Little female insects are all like that," Sirchi waved his hand dismissively. "Marshal, come inside and sit for a while. Oh, by the way, the Dean will be coming over later."
"I'll stop here for now. I'll have to spend a lot of time with these kids today," he said, turning and walking quickly toward the examination room.
Herroyn waved to him, sat down again, and just as he crossed his legs, he felt the hem of his clothes being tugged.
He looked down and saw Holoiyi standing beside him, tilting her head back and asking worriedly, "Father, did he mean your father will be here later?"
Herroyen was taken aback by his use of "your father," and his temple twitched: "What do you mean, 'your father'? You should call her 'grandmother'."
"No!" Holoi turned her face away, her little mouth pouting so much it could hold an oil lamp, and argued vehemently, "He always scolds you, he doesn't like you at all, I won't yell at him."
Holoyen was both annoyed and amused. He snorted and gently pushed the stubborn little bug with a force so light it was like a tickle.
Unfortunately, one of Heroiyi's feet was on a small stone, making her unsteady. When she was bumped, the whole insect fell backward.
Herroyn's expression changed and he was about to reach out to grab her when a pair of small hands reached out from behind and steadily supported Ii's back.
"Yi Yi, be careful."
After standing still, Heroyi turned around and saw that it was Ayou.
"Oh, okay," he blinked, "Ah You, why aren't you going in yet?"
Ayou showed him his smooth arm and explained, "It's all better now. I was the first one to have my checkup. I just finished those tests and had my blood drawn, and that was it."
The three-year-old female insect's self-healing ability has gradually improved, and the large needle marks on his arm have disappeared without a trace, so Heroy looked over for a long time but saw nothing.
"Oh?" Holoi blinked, then grabbed Ayou's hand and introduced him with her small chest puffed out: "Ayou, this is my father-in-law!"
Ayou looked up and finally saw the big tiger sitting in front of him—slick blond hair, cold eyes, and an aura of authority that he couldn't hide at all.
In an instant, his mind exploded with a "boom": It's the Marshal!
The instructors had shown Marshal "Heroyne" countless times in class using holographic projection!
No wonder he looked familiar when I saw his profile.
Ayou thought again and realized that the Marshal's push on Yiyi must not have been intentional. Yiyi must have done something wrong and was only given a light scolding by her "female father".
He quickly found a perfect reason for the marshal in his mind, then subconsciously stood up straight and respectfully greeted, "Greetings, Marshal."
Heroion paused for a moment, looking down at the tiny female insect that wasn't even as tall as his waist. He was as nervous as if he were receiving an award on stage, his eyes brimming with adoration and reverence.
So he subconsciously reached out and placed his large hand on Ayou's head, patting his hair, and said, "No need to be so serious. You're Yiyi's friend, just call me uncle."
"Huh?" Ayou stared wide-eyed in disbelief, and after several seconds nodded blankly.
Seeing his father's unusually gentle demeanor, which resembled that of a perverted manipulator trying to abduct his insect cub, Heroiyi immediately grabbed Ayou's hand and shook it: "Ayou, what are you going to do now? How about we go play in the back?"
"Ah? No!" Ayou suddenly remembered the important matter and immediately became anxious: "I have to help Uncle Ace and the others take those newly hatched insect babies for a physical examination, I can't talk to you anymore."
He was about to run back when Yi Yi grabbed him.
"Wait for me, Ayou, can I go?"
"Yes, sure, but..." Ayou subconsciously looked at Holoin, afraid that the marshal would think that he was bringing Yiyi to cause trouble.
Seeing this, Herroin simply reached out and ruffled Ayou's hair even more, saying casually, "Don't be nervous. If possible, please have Ayou take Yiyi over there."
He was happy to have some free time.
"No trouble at all!" Ayou quickly waved his hand, his tense expression immediately relaxing.
"Let's go!" Heroy shouted "Goodbye" to her father and then pulled Ayou away in a flash.
At the corner, Ayou led Yiyi around the long line of little female insects, and then walked into the corridor of the rest area as if they knew the way well.
As Holoi walked, she kept asking, "How small are the newly hatched insect babies?" "Will they cry?" "Can I hold them?"
Ayou patiently answered each question. When he pushed open the familiar door, a warm, milky aroma wafted out—several tiny female insects, no bigger than the palm of a hand, were scattered on the soft cushions inside, their eyes not yet fully open, their weak chirping like that of kittens.
Ace was squatting on the ground feeding one of the kittens when he looked up and saw Ayou bring in a chubby little one. He recognized her as Yi Yi, whom he had met once before. "Oh, Yi Yi's here to help too?"
Holoy smiled and nodded, rolling up her sleeves to reveal her chubby little arms, looking like she was saying "Leave it to me," which amused Ace so much that he almost dropped the bottle.
Outside the courtyard, Herroyen watched the small figure disappear around the corner of the corridor before lazily turning his gaze back and sitting back down on the large stone chair.
He was about to close his eyes and rest for a while when he suddenly caught a glimpse of a silvery-white light on the horizon out of the corner of his eye—a starship was slowly descending, and the Healing Department emblem on its hull reflected a dazzling light in the sunlight.
He narrowed his eyes, and after the starship came to a stop, he saw the figure walking down the gangway. He raised an eyebrow slightly: Hmm?
Sierland arrived so quickly?
