Slow to mature after marriage
Chapter 41 Mutual Respect
The group headed towards the buffet restaurant.
Bo Ning instinctively reached out to take Mu Siwan's arm, but just as she did, she met Bo Yan's indifferent gaze.
She paused for a moment.
Okay, okay, I got it.
She's in the way.
She withdrew her hand, took two steps back, and pretended to be studying the painting on the corridor wall.
Before Mu Siwan could react, a hand suddenly appeared on her side.
She turned her head, and Bo Yan appeared beside her without her noticing. He placed his hand on her waist and pulled her closer to him.
"What were you laughing at just now?" he asked, looking down at her with a half-smile.
Mu Siwan stopped smiling and looked away.
"It's nothing."
Bo Yan raised an eyebrow.
"Why are you laughing so happily?"
She didn't say anything.
She couldn't very well say that Bo Ning had told her about Bo Yan blowing up the house during a chemistry experiment when he was little—she had promised Bo Ning she wouldn't tell.
Okay, there's a secret.
Bo Yan stared at her for two seconds, then his fingers suddenly tightened, and he gently pinched her waist.
The force wasn't great; it wasn't even painful.
But that small patch of skin felt like it had been electrocuted; a tingling sensation spread from there and traveled all the way up to my back.
Mu Siwan paused, her whole body stiffening.
Bo Yan had already turned his gaze away, looking straight ahead, a lazy smile playing on his lips.
Zhou Qishen and Xu Qishan spoke to him from ahead, and he responded calmly.
Mu Siwan withdrew her gaze and continued walking forward.
My ears are a little hot.
-
After finishing the buffet, the group dispersed and went back to their rooms to change clothes.
Before leaving, Xu Qishan winked at them mysteriously: "There are activities tonight, so don't go to bed too early."
Bo Ning's room was right across from theirs. She held Mu Siwan's hand and said "See you later" with reluctance before turning around and going back to her room.
Mu Siwan stood at the door, watching the skipping figure disappear behind the door, and couldn't help but curl the corners of her lips into a smile.
She looked up at Bo Yan.
"How come you two siblings have such different personalities?"
Bo Yan looked down at her.
"What?" He raised an eyebrow. "Is my personality not good enough?"
"no……"
Before she could finish speaking, he grabbed her wrist.
The door was pushed open and then closed, pulling her inside until her back pressed against the cold door panel.
Bo Yan's hand rested on her waist, and he lowered his head to kiss her.
It wasn't the slow, tentative exploration of before, nor the lingering intimacy under the dim light of night. This kiss came suddenly and forcefully, as if it had been held back all along and had finally found an outlet.
Mu Siwan was breathless from his kiss and raised her hand to press against his chest.
The ties of her bathrobe had come undone at some point, and his fingers slipped inside, his palm touching the warm skin on her side.
She froze.
His fingers roamed over her waist, as if searching for something.
Then, I pressed it down, neither too hard nor too soft.
Mu Siwan's legs went weak, and she almost slipped down.
Bo Yan reacted quickly, grabbing her waist and pulling her into his arms.
He lowered his head, his voice tinged with a hoarse laugh.
"As expected... the sensitive spot is here."
Mu Siwan leaned against his chest, panting heavily, her mind blank.
His hand was still on her waist, gently caressing that small patch of skin.
Her whole body felt numb, and even her fingertips felt weak.
-
Bo Yan lowered his head and approached the corner of her lips.
Just as he was about to kiss her, her fingers pressed against his lips.
He paused.
Mu Siwan looked up at him, her breathing still catching, a hint of confusion in her eyes.
"Bo Yan..." she began, her voice slightly unsteady, "Is our relationship... not in accordance with the proper respect between guests?"
Bo Yan stared at her for two seconds.
At a time like this, she told him to treat each other with the respect due to guests?
He suddenly chuckled.
He lowered his head and kissed her lips through her fingers.
Mu Siwan was stunned.
Bo Yan stepped back slightly, looked down at her, and spoke slowly, with a hint of something unreadable.
"Treating each other with the utmost respect?"
He removed her fingers from the door and held them in his palm.
"Mrs. Bo, I'll go along with whatever you want to treat each other with respect."
As soon as he finished speaking, he swept her up in his arms.
Her bathrobe was untied and tossed aside. She was left only in her light blue bikini, her skin exposed to the air, a thin shiver running down her spine.
Bo Yan carried her into the room.
Outside the floor-to-ceiling windows are snow-capped mountains, their peaks bathed in the golden-red glow of the setting sun. Beside the window is a private hot spring pool, steaming and inviting visitors to descend.
Bo Yan stepped into the pool and, holding her in his arms, sank into the warm water together.
The water washed over both of them, wetting her hair and clinging to his eyelashes.
She was surrounded by water, surrounded by him, unable to tell whether the water was hotter or his palms were hotter.
In the distance are snow-capped mountains, and before me are his eyes.
She was captivated by his kisses.
-
The water rippled gently with his movements, splashing against her waist again and again.
Mu Siwan clung to his shoulders, her fingertips digging into his skin, leaving faint marks on the winding, snake-like lines. The steam blurred her vision, allowing her to see only his eyes, deep and heavy, in which she reflected her image.
"Bo Yan..." she called his name, her voice broken and half-swallowed by the sound of water.
Bo Yan lowered his head and kissed her collarbone, then kissed the patch of skin on her chest that was wet with water.
She closed her eyes, and the only things in the world were his breath, his heartbeat, and the hand he had on her waist.
Then--
"Brother! Sister-in-law!"
There was a knock on the door.
Bo Ning's voice came from outside the door, crisp and bright.
"Have you changed your clothes yet? Xu Qishan says the event is about to start!"
Mu Siwan froze.
She opened her eyes, looked blankly at the doorway, and then at Bo Yan.
Bo Yan paused for a moment.
But it didn't stop.
"Brother? Sister-in-law?" Bo Ning patted twice more. "Are you inside?"
Mu Siwan raised her hand and placed it against his chest, her voice extremely low.
"Thin lemon..."
"Um."
"She's knocking on the door..."
"I heard you."
"Stop..."
Bo Yan seemed not to hear.
He lowered his head and continued kissing her shoulder.
Mu Siwan tensed up.
The jarring feeling of something continuing when it should have stopped, mixed with the uncontrollable reactions deep within her body, threw her into a state of chaos.
"Bo Yan..." she called again, her voice trembling, "Stop...stop..."
Bo Yan looked up at her.
Her face was flushed, and her eyes were wet, it was hard to tell if it was from moisture or something else. Her fingers pressed against his chest, but the force was so soft it didn't feel like a push.
"Mrs. Bo..." He grabbed her waist and pulled her tightly into his arms, "At a time like this... how do you expect me to stop?"
The water splashed everywhere.
Bo Ning knocked twice more on the door.
"Strange, did they leave without telling me...?"
Bo Yan leaned down, bit her ear, and gently rubbed it.
"Ignore her."
Mu Siwan was taken aback by his four words.
Don't worry about it? Bo Ning is still outside.
She opened her mouth, wanting to say something, but he lowered his head and silenced her.
"...Hmm."
The water rippled again.
Mu Siwan's thoughts were fragmented. Bo Ning's voice grew fainter and fainter outside the door, and through the thick water, nothing could be heard.
All that remained was his hand clasped around its waist and his breath on her ear.
They were all together.
