Summer is quietly on its way, and the scorching heat of the concrete at midday will silently seep into your nostrils.

Su Group.

Su Yu arrived at the company early in the morning. He had been suffering from insomnia lately and couldn't figure out some things. Last night, he finally sorted out all his thoughts and was ready to make a move today.

Whether it works or not, we have to give it a try this time, otherwise it will be another unknown.

A man walked gracefully through the main gate of the Su Group building. He was wearing sunglasses, a black short-sleeved shirt, his hands in his pockets, and a cigarette dangling from his mouth. He looked roguish and unapproachable, with a handsome yet unruly air.

He strode to the front desk and tapped on the table a few times. "I'm looking for Su Yu."

The receptionist looked up at the nonchalant man, whose address to the boss was anything but polite, assuming he was some thug. "Excuse me, do you have an appointment? If not, I may not be able to let you know."

"They're quite dedicated, almost as good as Ji Hancheng's receptionist."

Whether this was a compliment or an insult was unclear, but the receptionist didn't understand and dared not lead anyone on the wrong foot; she couldn't afford the responsibility if something went wrong.

Han Yue had originally intended to go up himself, but now it seemed Su Yu would need to come down; this door was quite difficult to get through...

Leaning lazily against the front desk, one hand resting on the counter, she casually took out her phone and dialed Su Yu's number. The call was quickly answered, and the man's voice on the other end was still so gentle. It hadn't bothered me before, but now it sounded particularly grating.

I suspect my sister was blinded and seduced by this refined manner.

Han Yue didn't give the other party a chance to speak and said directly, "President Su, it's quite difficult to get into your company."

Su Yu understood immediately, guessing that Han Yue was downstairs at that moment, and without the slightest hesitation, said, "I'll come down."

Han Yue seemed quite satisfied with this statement; instead of telling me to call the front desk, he came downstairs himself.

After hanging up the phone, Han Yue stood calmly at the front desk playing on his phone, without saying another word to the receptionist.

A short while later, Su Yu came downstairs, wearing a crisp, silver-gray suit and glasses. He exuded a refined and noble air, completely different from Han Yue's aura. He strode towards Han Yue.

The two are about the same height and only one year apart in age.

Su Yu adjusted his glasses and exchanged polite greetings, "Sorry to keep you waiting."

The fact that Han Yue came to see me so early in the morning is definitely something to think about; there's absolutely something going on. This kind of thing is as rare as snow falling in June.

Before turning around, Su Yu carefully instructed the receptionist, "From now on, President Han can just take the private elevator when he comes to the company. There's no need to report."

"Okay, Mr. Su."

Han Yue, who was walking ahead, suddenly spoke up, "Such high treatment, does President Su have something in mind?"

Su Yu scoffed, thinking that Han Yue probably really had something to ask for. He hadn't expected Han Yue to attack so quickly, catching him off guard.

I don't know if I can still proceed according to my plan.

The two arrived at Su Yu's office one after the other, but Han Yue slowed his pace slightly, walking behind Su Yu who opened the door and followed.

I sat down on the sofa naturally, as if it were my own office. I looked around the simple room, which had a very basic style and didn't even have any extra cushions.

Clean and tidy.

Su Yu was very polite, walking gracefully to the side and asking politely, "Plain water or coffee?"

"Water." He doesn't have the habit of drinking coffee in the morning unless he's still half asleep and has to drink it to wake himself up.

Su Yu poured a glass of water, bent down to personally serve it, and gently placed it in front of Han Yue, "It's a little hot, it was just boiled this morning."

What a thoughtful person!

Han Yue leaned back on the sofa in a casual posture, and Su Yu sat down opposite him, waiting for Han Yue to speak.

"I'm here today mainly to ask Mr. Su for his thoughts on something. I hope Mr. Su will answer honestly." Han Yue got straight to the point; he wasn't one to hide anything.

Su Yu readily agreed and nodded, "Please go ahead, Mr. Han."

Aside from the matter of cooperation, the only connection between him and Han Yue was probably the eldest daughter of the Han family, Su Yu thought to himself.

Sure enough, Han Yue's words confirmed his suspicions the next second. Han Yue was very direct: "I heard you went to Country A with my sister and took good care of her. I also heard you saved her. May I ask President Su, was it a pure act of heroism, a pure coincidence, or a carefully orchestrated coincidence?"

The barrage of direct questions bombarded Su Yu, but he remained calm. He simply adjusted his glasses, appearing even more refined, and answered unhurriedly, "It's both a coincidence and my heart's desire."

It was a coincidence, but also a reflection of one's heart. What a wonderful answer.

Han Yue smiled, leaned back on the sofa, and stared into Su Yu's eyes, trying to see the emotions in them through the lenses and to discern the truth from his face.

"Mr. Han came here today simply to find out if my approach to Miss Han was intentional or a coincidence, and also to know what I'm really thinking. Am I right?"

The other party was straightforward and direct, and Su Yu was equally honest, clearly understanding his own thoughts.

"You could say that. It seems Ms. Su knows why I'm here. Why don't you tell me?"

Su Yu remained silent, never revealing his true feelings to anyone except Qin Kai. Han Yue was another person he couldn't avoid at the moment, as he was Han Guoguo's older brother.

About half a minute later, Su Yu answered truthfully, "I think I've fallen for your sister, Miss Han."

Hearing this answer, Han Yue didn't seem surprised. Ji Hancheng had shown him the photos, and Su Yu was indeed protecting Guo Guo in that gesture. He opened his mouth slightly, narrowed his eyes for a moment, and said, "Do you understand your own thoughts? Do you understand what you're saying?"

Han Yue bluntly exposed, "Has Tang Junyao been completely erased from your heart?"

"If I told you right now that I've completely cut ties with her and treat her like a younger sister, and that her status has always been that of a younger sister, would you believe me?"

Su Yu countered with a question.

After thinking about it for several nights, he realized that he now spends all his time thinking about Han Guoguo. He habitually checks her WeChat Moments before going to bed every night, and if she doesn't post anything, he wonders if she's unhappy that day.

If Su Yu still didn't understand all these things, he would be a fool. He originally planned to send a message to Han Guoguo after finishing his work today to tell her his thoughts. He still needed to say what needed to be said, but Han Yue's sudden appearance disrupted his plans.

"What do you think? You're half-believing, half-doubting, but I believe you like my sister. I'm not blind. Your rescue at the hospital wasn't a coincidence, and neither was going to country A."

Only a fool would abandon everything to find another woman if he doesn't have her in his heart.

Su Yu could tell from Han Yue's tone that he didn't want to stop him, but only wanted to find out if his heart was empty.

Thinking this way, he felt much more at ease. He curled his lips into a captivating smile, widening the curve, and asked, "Mr. Han, may I pursue your sister now?"

"I truly mean it, there are no other ulterior motives."

Su Yu guaranteed.

"You're not pursuing me, why are you asking me?" Han Yue glared at him, picked up her cup, blew on the hot water, took a sip, and said that talking so much so early in the morning was really tiring.

His purpose in coming was not to stop them, but simply to confirm whether Su Yu liked Guo Guo and whether he was truly aware of the situation. He did not intend to interfere with anything else.

It's not easy for a younger sister to fall in love with someone at such an old age. Actually, Su Yu isn't bad in Han Yue's eyes; at least he looks refined and wouldn't commit domestic violence.

Han Guoguo has a carefree personality; when she gets angry, she buys things like crazy. Su Yu seems to be the kind of person who can help unpack packages.

After a long silence, he asked, "Can you do manual labor, like unpacking packages?"

Suddenly, Han Yue asked a question that left Su Yu completely bewildered.

Su Yu frowned and asked, "What do you mean?"

Han Yue finished his glass of water, put it down, and said, "Since you like my sister, then let me tell you about the shortcomings of this young lady of our Han family. She can be crazy without limits, and she can suddenly have an explosive shopping desire. You can't support her without a lot of money. There will be all sorts of strange things waiting for you to deal with every day. Are you sure you want to find someone who can disrupt your rhythm at all times?"

"Doesn't President Han also have a girlfriend? Didn't he find someone with a different personality? So why can't I be the same person you were attracted to at first sight?"

After clarifying his thoughts, Su Yu refuted.

These words left Han Yue speechless. Having understood what he needed to know, Han Yue stood up, turned and left. As he reached the door, he said in a deep voice, "Guoguo's past was not pleasant, nor is she as happy as she is now. She cannot accept that one person can hold two people in their heart. If President Su cannot do that, then please do not disturb her."

"I know I won't let her have any more suicidal thoughts, I can guarantee that."

Upon hearing this, Han Yue stood at the door for several minutes, seemingly deep in thought, before reminding him again, "Remember what you said."

He left these words before he left.

After Han Yue left, Su Yu was left alone. He lay on the sofa with his head tilted back, squinting as he pondered, going over everything Han Yue had just said.

After only a few minutes of thinking, the quiet environment was disturbed. Qin Kai pushed the door open and came in after Han Yue left. He saw Han Yue come in and stood at the door for several minutes, seeing that it was quiet inside without any noise.

They just left.

They just talked for a little longer than expected. Qin Kai really couldn't think of anything Han Yue and Su Yu had to talk about. The contract for the dock had already been signed, so there was no need for them to spend a long time communicating about the contract.

Concerned, they asked, "Did something happen? Do you need me to handle it?"

Su Yu opened his eyes, straightened his suit, and stood up. The room was air-conditioned, and the temperature was springtime. "What's all this fuss about? You just can't sit still, can you?"

After figuring things out, Su Yu was in a good mood and even joked with Qin Kai. The perceptive Qin Kai naturally noticed this and asked, "What happened? You seem to be in a good mood."

"It's alright." Zuo You and Han Yue didn't say anything about stopping him from chasing after people.

"Are you free? Do you want me to arrange something for you?" Su Yu urged Qin Kai to leave.

The person being chased away didn't care, and scoffed, "Fine, you're busy. I hope you'll always be this busy. I'm leaving."

He picked up his phone, leaned back in his chair, and for the first time, he wasn't seriously going to work. He fiddled with his phone, tapped the pistachio icon to prepare to type, and mentally organized his thoughts.
