Night fell and all was quiet, but a high-speed chase was unfolding on the outskirts of the capital. Three white motorcycles were frantically pursuing a black motorcycle, each trying to overtake the other.

The black car was in the middle, flanked by white cars, and another car followed behind. In the darkness, the four motorcycles stood out conspicuously, their lights illuminating the road.

The combined roar of the four vehicles seemed to shatter the sky, and birds perched on the branches flew about in disarray.

Only the black car in the middle was alone; the two cars on either side each had a person in the back, holding weapons and constantly waving them at Tang Junyao. She leaped forward, and the two people next to her almost hit each other with the iron bars they were swinging, making her curse angrily.

"Damn, this woman is a lunatic."

"Stop talking nonsense and hurry up and catch up." They finally got a job; they hadn't had any orders for a month, and this was their only chance to make a living.

The car behind was driven by an impatient driver who pulled over and crashed into the back of Tang Junyao's car. The impact sent her car spinning several times, and she fell to the ground.

She stood up as fast as she could, biting her lip, her eyes filled with malice, her hands clenched into fists, looking at the three motorcycles that had stopped, and counting the six people inside.

Then the six men spontaneously spread out and surrounded her, uttering lewd words, "Beautiful lady, you are indeed good-looking, but you have offended someone. Today, we brothers have no choice but to take your life."

She scoffed, "Who knows who will take whose life today?" "Not a bad idea. Can I send a message to say my last words?"

They're not stupid. "They want to call the police? Do they think we're idiots?"

I originally wanted to try to find some time to practice, but it seems like I'm not getting the chance.

Just then, a black Toyota and a Porsche suddenly sped out and crashed into all three of their vehicles, overturning them without any hesitation.

The six people noticed something was wrong and glared angrily at Tang Junyao. One of them slapped her on the head and yelled, "You bitch, you called for help?"

She had just fallen down and her jeans were dirty, but she brushed the dust off nonchalantly. "Don't accuse me wrongly. I wanted to send them a message telling them not to come, but you wouldn't let me. Is it my fault?"

The group was furious at her nonchalant attitude, but they didn't know who she was and dared not make a move. They were only after money and didn't want to risk their lives.

The group hesitated over whether to go or not. If they didn't go, they had already been paid; if they went, what if they offended someone important? They weren't oblivious to the situation; they could tell from the group that they were no ordinary people.

A man in a black tracksuit got out of the black Toyota and stood respectfully beside Tang Junyao. "Miss."

Tang Junyao sighed, wondering if things had come too quickly. She just wanted to vent, but why was it so difficult?

Following closely behind was the Porsche. After the car stopped, it turned on its headlights, which brightly illuminated the area, making it look like a stage—no, a ring. Han Yue got out of the driver's seat, wearing a white casual shirt and black jeans, with a cigarette dangling from his mouth, exuding a roguish air.

Lu Jinnan came down from the side door, wearing light-colored jeans and a pink t-shirt. She looked so cute and delicate that, if you had to describe her, the only word Tang Junyao could find in her dictionary would be "fireworks."

Without a doubt, Ji Hancheng had arrived. Speak of the devil and he appears. The man was still dressed in a suit and tie, exuding a chilling aura. He walked around the front of the car and headed straight for Tang Junyao.

Is this a fight scene or a fashion show? These people are clearly just here to show off.

Han Yue didn't go forward. He lit a cigarette and leaned against the hood of the car to watch the show. He wanted to be a quiet spectator.

Lu Jinnan was displeased. "I sent you here to fight, not to smoke. Hurry up and get on with it."

Han Yue remained calm and showed no sign of intending to interfere, saying unhurriedly, "Don't you want to watch the show after Young Master Ji finishes his performance?"

Lu Jinnan: Of course I want to. Okay, I'll take a look too.

Thinking about it, he asked Han Yue for a cigarette and leaned against the side of the car, saying, "Move over a bit, let me lean against it."

Han Yue complained, "Could your ass be any bigger?" He was taking up half the front of the car.

"A big butt is good for childbirth."

Han Yue glanced at it discreetly, "If you can give birth to it, I'll give you Tiss."

Lu Jinnan: You cunning bastard, you only said that because you don't want to deliver. If I could give birth, what would Su Xue need to do? I would take care of both launching and laying eggs all by myself.

The next second, Lu Jinnan started showing off with a face full of superiority, "I already have a daughter, are you envious? Are you jealous?"

Han Yue was ruthless and didn't talk much. He went straight to the point and slapped Lu Jinnan on the back of the head. "You either shut up or get on stage." So annoying.

Ji Hancheng stood beside Tang Junyao with a fierce expression, ready to fight side by side. He had originally called Han Yue and the others over to have them clean up the mess so he could take Tang Junyao away, but those two just came to watch the show and even started smoking.

He stepped in front of Tang Junyao, blocking her way, and asked, "Are you alright?"

Tang Junyao thought to herself, "How could I possibly get hurt at this speed?" She asked in a low voice, "Could you step aside? They can't run either, can they? Let me stretch my legs a bit."

Ji Hancheng was speechless. He turned to meet her pleading eyes. He didn't want to agree, but he said, "Be careful, I'll stand to the side."

Tang Junyao felt that his standing on the side was affecting her performance, so she raised her chin and said, "You stand with them over by the car. I'll be done in a bit."

Ji Hancheng: This is because he was rejected. He wanted to be a hero and save the damsel in distress, but he failed and had to step aside.

Even with them around, they can't hurt her. If they do, she'll be sent to meet the King of Hell in no time.

Lu Jinnan watched as Ji Hancheng walked towards their car. Tang Junyao was doing warm-up exercises, grabbing Han Yue's arm and shaking it. "Damn, sister-in-law, why don't you go do it yourself? We've come all this way for nothing, and Young Master Ji won't have a chance to shine!"

Han Yue didn't even glance at Lu Jinnan, disdainfully pulling her arm back and patting it. She curled the corners of her mouth, secretly agreeing with Lu Jinnan's words. Could a girl who could accept Ji Hancheng be an ordinary girl?

Tang Junyao asked, "Did Chen Lan send you?"

The leader, speaking in what he thought was a very professional tone, said, "Miss, this is our code of conduct; we can't reveal the client's information. But we're not obligated to take this job. How about we just consider ourselves in the wrong place and go our separate ways?"

Tang Junyao: Why didn't you say you wouldn't answer before they arrived? You were just saying you wanted my life. Your change of heart is just as fast as Ji Hancheng's.

Tang Junyao didn't want to beat around the bush. She knew she would find out the answer eventually anyway, so she didn't waste any more time. "Alright, since you're all so rule-abiding, I can't make things difficult for you, can I? I don't like to force people to do things against their will."

She raised a brow, her tone smug and irritating, "You've already taken the money, so you still have to do the work. You're still going to beat me up. Besides, you've already taken it, so you wouldn't want to give it back. Let's treat this as a friendly match. If you beat me, I'll make them let you go, how about that?"

Seeing that the others still looked unconvinced, she continued, "Don't worry, my greatest virtue is that I keep my word. You can rest assured." Even she herself didn't believe what she said.

One of the thugs was tempted and stared at her, asking, "You keep your word." They didn't believe they couldn't beat a woman.

With an innocent expression, she said, "Do I look like someone who goes back on their word?"

The thug really wanted to say that you look like it, but since we were already in a dead end, he still wanted to take a gamble. He was determined to settle scores with that woman once he got out. Is this what you call lacking power? Just by looking at the people leaning against the front of the car, you can tell they're not simple.

Lu Jinnan reluctantly started a bet with Han Yue, "Do you think my sister-in-law can keep her word?"

"No." She blurted out without hesitation. If she could count, then the person next to her couldn't.

"How boring, why did you give me the same answer?"

Han Yue didn't want to talk to him. Ji Hancheng walked over, asked Han Yue for a cigarette, lit it, and put it in his mouth. As a result, there were three men smoking and one standing aside, while the woman was fighting in the middle. It was a one-against-six fight, and the scene was extremely exciting. All that was missing was a handful of melon seeds.

Seeing that Ji Hancheng didn't seem worried at all, Lu Jinnan asked curiously, "Brother Cheng, aren't you worried?"

Ji Hancheng took a drag of his cigarette, his gaze fixed on the stage they had created, and slowly said, "It'll take some effort. She needs to vent, so let her."

He was just looking for a reason for her to hit him, and now was the perfect time for him to vent all his negative energy. He couldn't be happier to have someone as a punching bag.

Lu Jinnan rolled his eyes at Ji Hancheng in his mind. "You know your sister-in-law can beat him, so why did you call me here? To cheer her on?" He still had a date to go on. Didn't he know he was still on probation? That's too much.

Han Yue: "I'm treating you to a show for free and you're still making such a fuss. If you're not going, get lost." It's so noisy. I definitely need to find a quiet girlfriend in the future.

They chatted enthusiastically while simultaneously beating each other until they were drenched in sweat. Several men were beaten to the ground, and Tang Junyao vented all her frustration on them. Not yet satisfied, she said, "Again! Don't you want to leave?"

To survive, several men endured the pain and continued to fight her. She was like a tireless tiger, relentlessly beating them.

Tang Junyao couldn't help but wonder if Chen Lan was out of money, since she had hired a bunch of useless thugs who couldn't even take a beating, not even as good as the thugs from two years ago.

A few days later, Tang Junyao's idea was confirmed.

Han Yue crossed his arms and shook his head reluctantly, "Tsk tsk... You've found a shrewish wife, not a delicate one. You have rather unusual tastes."

Looking at him from the side, Ji Hancheng had a smug look on his face and a smile on his lips.

Lu Jinnan was stunned. Was this even a woman? They'd been hitting each other for almost half an hour, and he still hadn't seen any sign that his sister-in-law wanted to stop. He'd already smoked three cigarettes. He sincerely suggested, "Brother Cheng, after you win your sister-in-law back, if she wants to exercise, I suggest you change to something more sexually fulfilling, something that will please everyone." He shouldn't have chosen the method of applying safflower oil to each other; it was too cruel. His sister-in-law wasn't a kind person; she was ruthless.

He couldn't help but feel a chill down his spine. Luckily, Su Xue hadn't learned this trick from his sister-in-law. Thinking about it, Su Xue was still the right fit for him.

He felt more certain and his affection for Su Xue increased significantly.

Ji Hancheng, seeing the woman's eyes also redden, pinched his brow and provoked her, "You're only on probation, we don't even know when you'll be fired, what are you showing off for?"

Han Yue was just there to watch the show, and chuckled, "If you're not happy, go argue with him. Why are you watching me?"

Lu Jinnan: ".............." Damn it, who knows the bitterness in his heart? He can't go home, he stays in a hotel every day, and it's only a probationary period. He doesn't believe he can't be made a permanent employee.

Ji Hancheng walked straight to Tang Junyao's side, kicked a man to the ground, and said sternly, "If you want to go back lying down, then keep going."

At a command, everyone lay on the ground, too afraid to move. Tang Junyao had been hit in several places. Although the people who came were not very skilled, there were many of them. In fact, Ji Hancheng saw each time she was hit, but he did not dare to stop them without her permission. This time, however, he saw that it had been going on for quite a while.

He pulled a pack of tissues from his pocket and wiped her hands. "That's enough. Let Han Yue take her back for questioning. Did you vent your anger? Hmm? If not, I'll play with you a little longer."

She did feel much better after exercising, and she didn't pull her hand away, letting him wipe her down as he pleased. "It's alright. I suspect it's Chen Lan, but I need solid evidence. If it really is her, I want her to pay with her life. She owes Wu's mother her life, and I must get it back."

She didn't want to fight him; it would only make her feel frustrated, and she'd probably feel even more depressed afterward.

He affectionately tidied her stray hairs. "Okay, can the car still be driven? Give me the keys."

Han Yue remained seated on the hood of the car, arms crossed, while Lu Jinnan exclaimed excitedly, "Damn, they're here to feed us dog food!"

He had this feeling that Young Master Ji was there to show off his wife and feed them dog food (a Chinese slang term for witnessing public displays of affection), which was a bit unethical.

Tang Junyao handed the keys to Ji Hancheng. He picked up the car, inserted the key, and found it worked; it wasn't broken. "Will you drive or shall I?"

Aren't you taking a car back?

"Do you think you can fit in?" He gestured with his chin toward the people lying on the ground.

"You drive." She was a little tired.

He stretched out his long legs and climbed onto the vehicle, calling back, "Get on." Then he said to the two people still at the front of the vehicle, "Help clean up the mess."

She was wearing jeans today, so she could sit with her legs spread apart. She straddled him, wrapped her arms around Ji Hancheng's waist, and inexplicably thought that riding a bike with him would feel pretty good.

This was the second time I rode a bike with him, feeling the speed of the wind together. It was exhilarating and comfortable.

Lu Jinnan felt a pang of envy for the two who had departed. "Sigh, life is so unfair."

"Enough with the nonsense, let's get to work." Han Yue thought that if Lu Jinnan knew how Ji Hancheng pursued Tang Junyao, he might feel much better.

Finally, the five people were crammed into Han Yue's Porsche: two in the trunk, three in the back seat, and one in the Lan family bodyguard's car.
