Hou Cang felt that there was no one in the world more unlucky than Lin Du.

The first foot almost stepped into the Tai Sui, and the second foot had just landed when it woke up Mo Lan.

The rich fragrance wafted into Hou Cang's nose, and he suddenly regretted jumping down so rashly.

Why is it that he has to bear the consequences of what his junior sister gets into?

Is this reasonable?

He hurriedly held his breath, but unfortunately he had already inhaled some of it.

Lin Du turned around and saw that his usually aloof senior brother had a blush on his face.

Things suddenly took a turn for the worse.

She took out a Tranquilizing Pill from her storage ring, intending to throw it to Hou Cang.

Unfortunately, this senior brother's eyes were already glazed over, and it seemed he couldn't accept the pill.

Lin Du sighed. Who was dragging whom down?

"Chu Guanmeng, watch my back."

Chu Guanmeng shook her paws. "Don't worry, these are no match for me."

It created a barrier that landed at the feet of Lin Du and Hou Cang, and then roared at the approaching demon as a show of force.

The demon clearly didn't care how loud it roared and still pounced on it.

Chu Guanmeng couldn't help but mutter, "You're making me lose face."

It leaped into the air, unleashing a torrent of moonlight that sent all the demons that had pounced on it flying.

Chu Guanmeng turned around triumphantly, wanting to boast to Lin Du, only to discover a scene even more shocking than what he had just done.

Inside the barrier, even though Hou Cang had already recited a calming mantra when he realized something was wrong, it was already too late.

The demon realm is filled with poisonous fog, primarily designed to stimulate and project desires deep within people's hearts, inevitably leading to symptoms such as greed, anger, ignorance, violence, and loss of soul.

The demonic plants that grow near the source of demonic energy are even more powerful.

The higher a cultivator's realm, the less harm ordinary poisons can cause them. Hou Cang dared to come down without a mask because he had come several times before and had never encountered such a thing.

He just didn't expect that after the Demon Mother Tree was gone, the Ten Thousand Demon Cave would produce so many enhanced demonic plants, far exceeding the previous high-level ones. Otherwise, he wouldn't have fallen for it so easily.

Hou Cang knew something was wrong. In his hazy state of consciousness, the last thing he did was to seal his own spiritual power.

At the very least, we cannot leave any obstacle for Lin Du.

As Lin Du approached, Hou Cang's mind was clearly being manipulated, and he was trying to walk step by step toward Mo Lan.

She called out and found that the person's pupils had already gone out of focus. She was determined to move forward, so she decisively struck and punched the person, making them stagger.

Seeing that the person was about to walk forward, Lin Du reached out and grabbed Hou Cang by the back of his collar.

Even though Hou Cang had sealed his spiritual power, the skills he had learned over the years were ingrained in his instincts, and he delivered a heavy blow with a counterattack.

When Lin Du realized that Hou Cang was about to fight him, he clicked his tongue lightly, and with a quick tug, he threw Hou Cang over his shoulder. Before Hou Cang could get up, he grabbed Hou Cang's hair and dislocated his jaw, throwing in a handful of pills—poison-removing, demon-exorcising, and mind-cleansing pills—all of them were stuffed inside.

It was all personal grudges, nothing skillful.

Lin Du put Hou Cang's jawbone back in, patted it with his spiritual power to make sure the person had swallowed it, and then let go. He picked out a mask from his storage ring and haphazardly put it on Hou Cang.

After she finished doing everything, she finally released her grip on his hair, which she had been forcibly pulling at. "Senior brother, wake up."

A moment later, Hou Cang opened his eyes, feeling a sharp pain in his scalp and a choking sensation in his throat.

He struggled to his feet, and Lin Du's fan was pressed against his throat. "Is Senior Brother still conscious?"

Hou Cang felt the icy killing intent in his throat, leaned back slightly, and nodded. "I'm fine now, thank you."

Lin Du narrowed his eyes, making sure his eyes were clear, before withdrawing his hand, turning around and rushing out of the barrier, freezing a demon into an ice sculpture with a single flap of his hand.

Hou Cang slowly touched his head; his crown had been pulled so hard it was about to fall off. His junior sister was really ruthless.

He simply removed his crown, raised his hand and cleaved the barrier with a sword, sweeping away the gathered demons. Then he raised his hand and made a hand seal, using spiritual power to force out the remaining poisonous mist. His longsword plunged into the demon corpses beneath him, and the earth began to tremble. Spiritual power flowed continuously from his hand into the sword.

The white robes, stained with viscous demonic blood, fluttered slightly. Spiritual energy transformed into sword energy, which was continuously compressed and condensed. The sword trembled slightly and hummed incessantly... Finally, the momentum was fully built up, and the sword energy was released. A merciless sword intent surged out and exploded, suddenly blooming beneath his feet.

The sword rang out sharply, and its energy surged and spread outwards, shaking up all the demons piled on the ground.

Lin Du was stunned for a moment, then quickly spread his divine sense out to pinpoint the location of the true source of demonic energy on the ground.

Hou Cang looked at his masterpiece with satisfaction, drew his sword and urged Lin Du, "Hurry up, the demons will still be able to bring these things down."

Great, you've regained your dignity.

"Why didn't you do it earlier! Waiting until now!" Lin Du retorted immediately, then quickly locked onto the location and darted away, leaving Hou Cang with a trail of spiritual energy.

Chu Guanmeng quickly followed, also shooting out a moon-white arc of spiritual energy.

Hou Cang raised his hand to adjust the mask on his face, raised his eyebrows helplessly, and then darted out.

If Lin Du hadn't used his Heavenly Thunder to blast the demons, his sword qi sea wouldn't have been able to shake off so many accumulated demons.

Two waves of heavenly lightning destroyed two layers of demons. Most of the demons below were slow-moving and had not yet taken shape; otherwise, how could he have such great power?

When Lin Du darted to her position, the demons were already struggling to land. She raised her hand, not concealing her true strength, and an iceberg shot into the sky, directly pushing aside the scattered demons. The demons that reacted slower were frozen in the ice pillar.

From a distance, it looks like a warning monument erected by spirits at the source of evil.

Lin Du lowered his eyes, directly confronting the source of this demonic energy for the first time.

There were obvious traces of spatial turbulence tearing open, not like it came from underground, but rather like a tear that occurred after another space intersected with the Cave Realm. It was suspended on the cliff, with turbulent currents like a vast ocean of stars inside, and a black hole-like vortex that swallowed people. It seemed that anyone who accidentally stepped into it would be torn apart by the turbulence.

She recalled another name for the source of demonic energy recorded in ancient books: "The Eye of Sin".

Suddenly, Lin Du felt a burning pain in her wrist. Before she could think about what it meant, a newborn demon suddenly emerged, like a tear of blood rolling out of the Eye of Sin. It was scarlet, sticky and damp, and struggled and twisted in the membrane formed by the source of demonic energy.

She frowned, kicked the half-emerged demon back, raised her hand to form a hand seal, and chanted scriptures within her consciousness, slowly forming a command with her divine sense to command heaven and earth.

Beneath the viscous, steaming air of the mountain cliffs, a mountain breeze suddenly swept by.

Lin Du suddenly felt a weight on her body, as the power of the rules of heaven and earth was drawn to her. She immediately raised her hand and placed a seal.

The wind grew stronger, causing the monk's heavy robes to flutter loudly.

Ten bright points appeared in the sky, radiating dazzling golden light, and then split into ten magic seals that continued to accumulate and grow larger.

The surrounding demons seemed to sense something, roared, and rushed towards the source of the demonic energy without regard for anything else.

In an instant, the mountains shook, the wind and clouds changed, demonic energy surged, and evil spirits became restless.

Hou Cang's eyes narrowed, and he raised his sword, sweeping it continuously behind Lin Du. The splattered demonic blood fell in the air like rain, and continued for a long time.

Chu Guanmeng no longer cared whether its fur would get dirty. It stood in front of Lin Du and felt that the demons in front of it were like annoying flies or locusts that had lost their minds, densely packed and covering the sky.

It had never seen so many dirty things fly before, and it expanded to twice its original size, blocking Lin Du's way.

During the spell, Lin Du must not be affected, much less be harmed by evil spirits.

"Die, all of you!!!" Chu Guanmeng roared in exasperation, and pale white flames surged from his mouth, enveloping the approaching demons.
