With Lou Fengyue leading the way, they encountered no obstacles along the way and arrived at Yizhou Square on the outskirts of the city on time two hours later.

The SUV turned directly into a residential area.

This area consists of self-built houses, most of which have been renovated for rental purposes and look fairly clean.

But there are many zombies.

Upon hearing the car, a group of zombies swarmed around it like fanatics.

"You all wait here." Lou Fengyue activated her ice-type ability, surrounding the car with four ice walls.

After separating the group of zombies, she pushed open the car door, got out, and jumped off the ice wall.

The three SWAT officers exchanged glances and decided to obey orders.

Then, they sat in the car, watching Lou Fengyue wade through the horde of zombies, killing them with a loud, guttural sound, through the ice wall.

In no time, thirty or forty zombies lay dead in a pile.

Before they could collect the crystal cores, a bunch of silly little devils, like they had rheumatism and joint pain, surged toward them in a bizarre manner.

Lou Fengyue frowned, then casually built a few earthen walls to keep them outside.

"Don't rush, it's not your turn yet." She said softly, pulled a rotten wooden stick from her spatial storage, and rushed into the six-story self-built house in front of her.

Fang Yuan was dumbfounded.

He got out of the car and knocked on the ice wall that surrounded them.

It was at least thirty centimeters thick, and there were no living zombies left between the outside and the earthen wall.

Occasionally, a few fish that escaped from the self-built houses would scratch the outer wall of the ice wall, but they couldn't even leave a scratch.

About five minutes later, Lou Fengyue came out of the self-built house, her new raincoat stained black again.

She quickly dealt with the few remaining fish that had slipped through the net, and then broke through the ice wall.

"Two on the third floor, one on the fifth floor." She waved her hand, signaling the special police to go up and pick them up.

Then he took a bread cart out of his spatial storage and placed it at the door.

I picked it up on the road. Although it emits black smoke when I drive it, at least it can move.

When Fang Yuan and his two companions brought the three survivors down, they discovered that Lou Fengyue was gone again.

All that could be heard was the sound of fighting outside the earthen wall.

Soon, the two buildings on the left became completely silent. The earthen wall was broken open, and Lou Fengyue slung the rotten wooden stick over her shoulder, walking as lightly as if she were taking a stroll in the back garden.

She pointed to the two buildings behind her, "203, 605."

The special police officers rushed up to rescue the person.

The three survivors who were rescued sat huddled together in the van, still reeling from the fear, none of them daring to look out the window.

Lou Fengyue was also focused on the mission and couldn't be bothered to spare any energy to care about the people who had been rescued.

After clearing out the zombies from three more buildings and moving all the survivors out, she gave Fang Yuan a few instructions over the walkie-talkie, then swaggered off toward Yizhou Square, carrying a rotten wooden stick.

It's not far, just across the street.

Now you don't need to wait for traffic lights or use crosswalks; you can just dart across in a flash.

There were no living people left in the mall, but there were quite a few zombies.

Lou Fengyue had a good time killing and a good time looting.

The supermarket stores and warehouses were all emptied. All the luxury goods that I couldn't bear to buy before were taken away, and even some jewelry that looked good but was not useful was taken away.

Although it's not worth much anymore, gold is an excellent material for forging weapons!

While we're at it, we throw all the zombies we just killed out onto the plaza, collect their crystal cores, and burn them.

When they returned to the residential area, Fang Yuan and his two companions had already brought all the survivors downstairs and stuffed them into the van.

Lou Fengyue climbed into the SUV and retreated.

On the way back, Lou Fengyue rescued five survivors while passing by. Lou Fengyue went on a killing spree, which took up some time.

At four o'clock in the afternoon, two vehicles entered the gate of the safe zone in a grand procession.

The bread truck broke down as soon as it arrived at its destination, with thick black smoke billowing from its exhaust pipe.

Lou Fengyue clicked her tongue and said to the special police officers on duty, "See if you can fix it. If you can't, just throw it out."

"Yes."

Du Guiying came out to receive the survivors, and there were a total of seventeen people crammed into the back seat of the seven-seater van!

What's the difference between this and selling piglets?!

After sending people to settle the survivors, Du Gui turned to Lou Fengyue: "Are you alright?"

"No." Lou Fengyue waved her hand casually, her mind calculating how much time was left to complete the mission.

Fifty-six yesterday, seventeen today.

Twenty-seven more are needed.

If I'm more efficient tomorrow, I should be able to finish it.

but--

Lou Fengyue glanced around the safe zone.

This tiny, run-down place is now crammed with hundreds of people; it's overcrowded.

In addition, the fence is not sturdy, and if another wave of zombies comes, hundreds of people may have to join the zombie army.

"How's the relocation we discussed yesterday going?" She looked up at Du Gui, her eyes showing little concern, more like a perfunctory question.

"We already have a general direction, and we're about to have a meeting to discuss it," Du Gui said honestly. "Why don't you come and listen in?"

"Okay." Lou Fengyue stretched and followed Du Gui to the village committee next door.

Suddenly, several golden blades flew over from the side.

Du Gui was startled and immediately dodged to the side, but Lou Fengyue calmly raised her hand and waved.

The golden blade instantly transformed into a ball of golden energy and dissipated in the wind.

"Are you alright?" came a loud voice from the playground.

Lou Fengyue turned her head and looked over. More than a dozen pairs of eyes were looking at her with concern or guilt.

She waved her hand, and then saw Luo Zeyan give her an OK sign.

Then they continued training.

The two were busy with their own things and didn't meet again until dinner time in the cafeteria.

"Team Leader Lou, here!" Li Yichen saw Lou Fengyue from afar and immediately waved and called out to her.

Lou Fengyue carried the tray over and naturally sat down in the empty seat next to Luo Zeyan.

There was no deliberate attempt to get close, nor any deliberate avoidance; they were as at ease as any ordinary old classmate.

"How was your outing today?" Luo Zeyan glanced at her sideways.

"Not bad, I saved seventeen." Lou Fengyue said, her head down as she ate, her tone indifferent.

The meals provided in the canteen were very simple: potatoes, sweet potatoes, and instant noodles, but at least you could have something hot to eat.

They won't have to eat bread and drink cold water every meal.

Lou Fengyue quickly finished her small bowl of instant noodles, then started peeling sweet potatoes. She glanced at them and asked, "What about you guys?"

"It went quite smoothly," Luo Zeyan said.

Li Yichen's lips curled into a mischievous smile as he leaned forward slightly: "It wasn't so smooth at first; those people kept finding fault. But then our Brother Yan took on five of them single-handedly, leaving them speechless."

His tone carried a hint of excitement, quite like someone passionately promoting their own product.

Lou Fengyue didn't give him the reaction he wanted, and said calmly, "As long as everything goes smoothly. Once we move here, we'll leave."

"Okay," Luo Zeyan replied.

The three of them didn't talk about anything else and ate quietly.

A moment later, a familiar voice was heard.

"Zeyan, Yichen, you're here?" Lin Xiulan walked over with a tray, her eyes filled with affection the moment they met Lou Fengyue's gaze. "Little Lou is here too."
