Before Bodhi finished speaking, Shakyamuni understood his meaning.

"This is a rare six-winged golden cicada from the primordial world, the leader of the five most ferocious insects in the primordial world. I obtained it during my travels in the primordial world a few years ago."

Upon hearing this, everyone turned their heads to look. The main body was only an inch in size, with a body of hard, glassy, red-gold armor. The shell was covered with flowing gold patterns, and six layers of thin, glassy cicada wings grew from its ribs. The edges of the wings shone with a sharp, metallic light, and the flapping of the wings could tear through the void.

"I have been preaching to it for a thousand years to suppress its ferocity. Now that you have attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree, this insect has been baptized by the Buddha's light and will become your disciple."

Shakyamuni pondered for a moment, then patted the golden lotus of creation beneath his seat. Boundless Buddhist light fell upon the six-winged cicada, helping it suppress its ferocious nature and transform into human form.

He understood what Bodhi Saint meant. As the newly appointed leader of Buddhism, with Maitreya Buddha and Bhaisajyaguru Buddha, two former disciples of the Western Paradise and now legitimate successors of Buddhism, there would always be some obstacles for him to take charge of Buddhism in the future.

By doing so, Bodhi Saint was demonstrating to all Buddhas that he agreed to be the new leader of Buddhism.

After all, these six-winged golden cicadas were nominally disciples of a saint, yet he was still accepted into the sect.

Before long, the cicada sang a long song and transformed into a Buddhist monk dressed in a plain robe with gold patterns, surrounded by a faint, shimmering Buddhist light.

To everyone's eyes, he had red lips and white teeth, a face as handsome as jade, eyes that showed compassion, and a smile that seemed to be playing on his lips. He was indeed a very good-looking man.

Upon closer inspection, however, a fierce aura was hidden in his eyes, and a red mole between his eyebrows was particularly conspicuous, filled with boundless Buddhist light. As he bowed, he said, "Disciple greets Master."

"grumble--"

A phantom of a golden cicada, complete with limbs and distinct feathers, floated behind him. Its six wings gleamed with a fierce light, and the sudden flash of ferocity in its eyes completely erased the smile on its face.

Kong Xuanlong frowned. He really was the leader of the five fierce insects!

Shakyamuni's expression remained unchanged, his voice filled with compassionate Buddhist teachings: "You are my second disciple, and I bestow upon you the name Jin Chanzi."

The Buddha's light spread out, suppressing the six-winged golden cicada phantom behind him. The red mole between Jin Chanzi's eyebrows radiated compassion, giving him a combination of compassion and ferocity.

"Yes, disciple thanks Master." Jin Chanzi bowed again, and the two completely opposite auras began to merge.

Shakyamuni nodded slightly. His transformation into human form was at the level of a Golden Immortal, far surpassing that of his eldest disciple, Fire Spirit. It was no wonder that he was noticed by a sage. Of course, this was also related to the increasingly powerful nature of the primordial world.

No matter how you look at it, he's comparable to him and the Twelve Golden Immortals of the Chan Sect back then.

"From this day forward, the Bodhi tree shall be the sacred tree of Buddhism." Shakyamuni said hastily as he watched the Bodhi tree, which had grown to a height of a thousand feet and transformed into a whisk, return to the Bodhi Daoist's hand after the transformation of the Golden Cicada.

Since his senior brother had given him so much face, he naturally had to reciprocate.

Bodhi paused slightly in the hand that was waving its whisk, and said with a smile, "You've put your heart into this."

These words alone brought him some good fortune.

With a gentle wave of the whisk, specks of light flew out and landed on the western continent, forming a lush Bodhi forest around Mount Sumeru.

After he used his sixteen-foot golden body to repair the Western Paradise, he took back all the Bodhi trees, leaving only one or two on Mount Sumeru. Perhaps it was for his brother, the Amitabha Buddha, to remember him by looking at the objects.

Now we can allow the Bodhi tree to take root again, and through the Buddha's words, enlighten all beings with wisdom.

As he waved his Bodhi whisk again, the divine light emanating from the Bodhi tree merged entirely into the Western Continent. He spoke softly, "This humble Taoist only wishes for the well-being of all beings in the West and for the Western Continent to be restored as soon as possible."

"The Sage is merciful." All the Buddhas bowed in homage, even Longji Jinpeng bowed slightly. Kong Xuan nodded, but a strange light flashed in his eyes.

He had already attained the Dao of Hunyuan and was able to grasp some of the secrets of heaven.

Duobao's heart sank, wondering whether his uncle had acted intentionally or unintentionally, making a move ahead of time.

The Western energy is used to repair the earth's veins, which is crucial to his and his two senior masters' future plans!

Shakyamuni's mind was in turmoil, but he showed no sign of it on his face. He bowed deeply to Amitabha Buddha and said, "This humble monk returns to his place and shall preach the Dharma to all sentient beings."

"Go ahead." Jieyin nodded, and Bodhi also nodded. The two figures slowly disappeared into the void.

Bo Huang stopped his nine younger brothers who were about to leave, saying, "The Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss has not yet been opened. You should stay here with the Great Sun Buddha."

In the future, I hope to attain a position as a Buddha in Buddhism, so that I can strive to sever the evil corpse as soon as possible.

"Thank you, brother." Zhong Lang's eyes lit up and he understood what he meant. He waved his hand and told his subordinates to pilot the Sky Patrol Warship back.

As everyone watched, the Buddhas escorted Shakyamuni to Mount Sumeru. The plaque above the main hall where the Buddhas were located vanished, and what reappeared were four innate divine characters—Great Thunderclap Temple!

Maitreya, the Medicine Buddha, and other disciples of the Western Sect frowned slightly upon seeing this, but could only sigh inwardly before sitting upright, ready to listen quietly to the Buddhist teachings.

"In the future, Mount Sumeru will be renamed Mount Ling, meaning that all spirits will take refuge in it."

Shakyamuni slowly spoke, ignoring the changing expressions of others. He pointed his finger, and the nine-tiered golden lotus of merit flew out from under Dipankara Buddha's seat, landing beneath Maitreya Buddha, thus demonstrating his stance before all the Buddhas.

Dipankara looked somewhat forlorn. Shakyamuni touched the golden lotus of creation, and a golden lotus seed slowly sprouted and bloomed, transforming into a twelve-petaled lotus platform that lifted Dipankara up.

This was the instruction from my second senior brother, a spiritual treasure prepared in advance for Randeng, after all, he had made meritorious contributions by taking charge of the Buddhist Yiyuan Society.

Dipankara's eyes lit up. He bowed three times toward Kunlun, then turned and bowed to Shakyamuni, saying, "Thank you, Buddha."

Duobao nodded slightly, and the Golden Lotus of Creation emitted boundless Buddhist light, spreading from Mount Sumeru to the Western Continent. All the Buddhas instantly perked up, for in any case, Buddha Shakyamuni was now a peak Quasi-Saint.

Hearing the Buddhist chants, Kong Xuan narrowed his eyes slightly: "Let's go, back to Heaven."

Longji and the others quickly followed, leaving only the Buddhist light of the Western Continent that had never ceased for a thousand years.

……

Longde Palace.

"Disciple pays respects to Master, Uncle-Master, and the three Senior Uncles."

"Your subject pays respects to Your Majesty and Your Majesty."

"Greetings to my elder brother and sister-in-law/uncle and aunt."

"Get up." Haotian smiled gently, and everyone was lifted up by his gentle strength. Kong Xuan's heart trembled. His master's strength was still so unfathomable.

Xuan Tian stepped forward and bowed, saying, "I left too soon. I congratulate my senior brother on attaining the Primordial Dao. May you enjoy eternal immortality and boundless longevity."

"You've also broken through to the late Quasi-Saint stage, just like Long Ji. Quickly sever your three corpses," Kong Xuan nodded with a smile.

"Kong Xuan, you are quite good. This time, you have restored honor for our Immortal Path in front of the Bodhi of Guidance." Laozi stroked his long beard and smiled with satisfaction. "The third generation of the Xuanmen has finally attained the Primordial Dao. In the future, you can also be called the Celestial Venerable of the Immortal Path."

"This..." Kong Xuan paused. The Confucian Immortal was indeed a lineage of immortals, but his Confucianism would eventually transform into Confucianism as a religion, and he might even compete with Taoism and Buddhism for fortune. If he were to become a Celestial Venerable of the Immortal Path, he would probably find himself in a complicated and unresolved situation in the future!

Moreover, after he attained enlightenment, he suppressed Shakyamuni. Who knows if his Uncle Tongtian would have any objections?
