Miss Witch, even if we're poor, we can't sell ourselves!

Chapter 116 Sisters, don't be so shy!

Miya escaped from the encirclement of the medical examination team. Before she could even catch her breath, she saw a female teacher wearing a mask standing next to a white curtain, waving in her direction.

"The last item is the measurement of basic body data. After you go in, take off your clothes and do as I say."

Miya paused for a moment.

In my past life, I did have to have my height and weight measured during some physical examinations from childhood to adulthood, but it shouldn't be this extreme.

Now she's being asked to undress completely behind a curtain, with a teacher standing next to her and hundreds of little witches lining up outside. The lighting inside shouldn't be able to project her body out, right?

She took a deep breath, squatted down to untie her shoelaces, and neatly placed her shoes in the corner of the curtain. Then she took off her cotton coat and draped it over the chair outside the curtain before lifting the curtain and going inside.

The space inside the curtain was larger than she had imagined. A thin mat was laid on the floor, and a floor-standing height measuring ruler was placed in the corner.

The teacher drew the curtain, then turned around and spoke in a businesslike tone.

"Take off all your clothes, it'll be quick, just a few minutes."

Miya placed her hand on the first button of her school uniform collar, her fingertips trembling slightly.

She had only ever seen herself naked since she was a child. Although the curtains covered her and the teacher was a professional medical worker, the very act of undressing in front of strangers was enough to fill her with shame.

She bit her lower lip, closed her eyes, and unbuttoned the first button.

Fold the school uniform top and place it on the chair under the hook, then fold the skirt and place it on top of it.

After she finished taking off her clothes, she stood there, unsure of what to do with her hands. She wanted to cover her body, but that felt too pretentious. Letting them hang by her sides made her feel uncomfortable.

Her pale golden hair fell across her collarbone, and her skin shimmered faintly under the warm yellow lights of the stadium.

The teacher turned to look at her, and paused for a moment in her action of holding the measuring tape.

It's like a romantic poet traveling thousands of miles to the Louvre to see the original Mona Lisa for the first time.

Miya's figure was not plump; in fact, one could say she was rather thin. Her waistline was slender and smooth, and the lines of her shoulders and collarbones were so delicate that they looked as if they had been drawn with a fine brush. Her skin was smooth and delicate, and the muscle lines of her arms and calves were not prominent, but just by looking at them, they seemed plump and easy to pinch. She stood there quietly, her pale golden eyelashes trembling slightly, and the faint blush on her cheeks that had not completely faded since the life force test earlier still lingered.

The teacher, wearing a mask, coughed lightly, drawing her attention back to the present. She squatted down and wrapped the measuring tape around Mi Ye's waist with quick and professional movements, jotting down each measurement on the whiteboard as she finished.

"Your muscle density is significantly higher than that of the average newborn, your body fat percentage is very low, but your skin has excellent elasticity. Do you exercise regularly?"

Just as Miya was about to answer, a rustling sound came from outside the curtain. It was probably a few new little witches who had come closer to peek, but were given a light tap on the head as a warning and immediately shrank back.

The teacher filled in the height, weight, and body measurements one by one. When it came time to measure the arm span, the teacher asked Miya to open her arms and stretched a measuring tape from the fingertips to the opposite fingertips.

Her gaze followed the markings on the measuring tape to the back of Miya's hand, and then stopped.

Black stars.

The mark on the back of Miya's right hand, which had been there ever since the Flash of God, was like a piece of night sky condensed to the extreme, embedded in her skin.

Under the direct light of the stadium, a layer of dark gold patterns slowly flowed across the surface of the star, as if something was sealed inside, breathing at a slow pace.

The measuring tape stopped at Miya's fingertips.

She glanced at Mi Ye's face and found that Mi Ye had closed her eyes tightly at some point, her eyelashes still trembling slightly, as if she was wholeheartedly praying that this shameful measurement would end soon.

The teacher paused for a moment, put away the measuring tape, and filled in the number in the arm span column.

She didn't ask any questions about the black stars, but simply put the writing board aside and gently patted Miya's shoulder.

"Okay, put on some clothes. You have a great figure, there's no need to be shy."

Mi Ye opened her eyes as if granted a pardon and quickly put her clothes back on, one by one.

She buttoned her shirt all the way up, tied her skirt belt, then squatted down and lifted the curtain a crack, reaching in to hook the shoes that were outside the curtain.

As I crouched down to hook my shoes, half of my head peeked out from the curtain, meeting the gazes of several pairs of eyes peering in my direction.

Those were several little witches who had already finished their physical examinations or hadn't yet had their turn, waiting for their companions outside the curtain with their arms crossed.

They saw a pale golden head peek out from the gap in the curtain, with two very obvious blushes on its cheeks. Then the head quickly retracted, and the curtain closed again.

Did you see that?

"I saw it! I saw it!"

"So cute, so cute!"

Miya slipped on her shoes, pulled her cotton coat from the chair outside the curtain and draped it over her shoulders, stood up, took a deep breath, lifted the curtain, and strode towards the entrance of the gymnasium.

The whispers of the little witches behind her followed her for quite a distance, and a few of them, though hushed, were still clearly audible: "I really want to raise one."

She didn't look back, her pace quickening until she practically pushed open the door and ran away, disappearing into the night outside the stadium.

The deep blue night sky was filled with stars, and the snow had stopped sometime earlier.

The off-white exterior of the First Gymnasium gradually diminished behind her, and the warm yellow lights shining through the glass curtain walls on both sides cast several rectangular patches of light on the snow.

Miya ran for quite a while before stopping, supporting herself on her knees and catching her breath. White mist drifted from her mouth and melted into the night.

She straightened up, glanced back in the direction of the gymnasium to make sure there were no pursuers, then zipped her coat up all the way and slowly walked back towards the dormitory.
