Gwen, hanging upside down on her spider silk, looked down at the terrified robber. "So cowardly, yet you still dare to rob someone? How about you do me a favor and tie yourself up?"

"Are you a ghost? You don't even have a sound!"

The robber roared and tried to point his gun at Gwen, but Gwen's web-shooting device shot out webs that stuck her hand to the ground.

Gwen then used a few more webs to firmly stick the robber to the ground, took two cans of soda from the freezer, and paid the cashier.

Gwen was distracted throughout the entire process, muttering "ghost, ghost, ghost..." as she left.

When she arrived outside the supermarket, she ran into the police who had just arrived, and the one leading them happened to be her father—Officer George Stacy.

"The robber was inside; I caught him."

Gwen was a little nervous in front of Officer Stacy, afraid that she would be recognized.

After speaking quickly, Gwen prepared to leave.

But Officer Stacy stopped her, "Wait a minute!"

Gwen's body trembled, and she turned her head stiffly. "What's wrong?"

"Thank you for your help. What's your name?"

For some reason, Officer Stacy felt that this new masked hero was familiar.

"Just call me Ghost Spider."

As soon as she finished speaking, Gwen quickly swung away on her webs.

……

Arriving at the rooftop near the supermarket, Wayne sat on the edge of the roof.

Gwen sat down next to him and pressed one of the cans of soda against Wayne's face.

Wayne accepted the soda expressionlessly; the coldness had no effect on him.

Why didn't you tell Mr. Stacy?

"You think everyone is like you?"

Gwen rolled her eyes at Wayne, annoyed. "If I told him, he definitely wouldn't let me continue being a superhero."

"Afraid he'll worry?"

Gwen fell silent, and seeing this, Wayne didn't ask any more questions.

Sensing the awkward atmosphere, Gwen quickly changed the subject, "Let's not talk about that. I just gave myself the nickname 'Ghost Spider,' what do you think?"

"It sounds nice."

Actually, for Wayne, titles are fine as long as they're not too outrageous... except for that lousy title, "Aimu Superman".

"Let's go. There's one borough in Manhattan left to patrol, but it's a bit special."

……

Hell's Kitchen, officially Clinton, is a district located on the west side of Manhattan Island in New York City, west of Midtown Manhattan, and is often referred to as West Midtown.

As one of the areas where gangs are entrenched, Hell's Kitchen has had a persistently high crime rate over the years.

Gwen had only been in Hell's Kitchen for a dozen minutes when she encountered no fewer than a handful of criminal activities, including but not limited to robberies and gang fights.

Fortunately, these were all child's play for Gwen, and the poor criminals were also very lucky not to be able to defeat Ghost Spider, otherwise their next opponent would have made them exclaim "unbelievable matchup".

Once again handing the robbers over to the arriving police, Gwen once again spun on her webs and chatted with Wayne, who was flying beside her.

However, as they passed over a factory, Gwen's spider-sense suddenly went off, "Watch out!"

Gwen instinctively lunged at Wayne, but failed to move him; it looked like she was throwing herself into his arms.

Wayne instinctively grabbed Gwen as she lunged at him, then used his bio-field to deflect all the bullets coming from the factory below.

"..."

Realizing she had done something completely unnecessary, Gwen's eyes widened, and her soft body instinctively stiffened. Fortunately, Wayne couldn't see her expression because of the hood—or so he thought!

Gwen, her cheeks burning, instinctively broke free and swung towards the factory. "I... let's go take a look!"

Wayne didn't pay much attention, but instead focused his gaze on the factory. His super vision pierced through the factory ceiling and saw the scene inside—a talkative man in a red and blue spider bodysuit was dodging bullets while persuading a group of gangsters to surrender after their sneak attack.

"Why is Peter talking so much?"

Wayne recognized the guy in the red and blue bodysuit and was a little confused. Peter was usually quite quiet at school, so why did he become so talkative when he wore a hood?

Then, Wayne's gaze fell on a tall, fat figure surrounded by gangsters. The man was bald and wearing a specially made white suit—Wilson Fisk, who called himself "Kingpin," was one of the core figures in the New York and even the entire United States underworld network.

"How did Peter bump into him?"

Wayne never expected that Peter, who had just started out, would go up against Kingpin. Perhaps this is fate.

However, Kingpin shouldn't be too easy for Peter and Gwen, who are just starting out. After all, he is not only good at fighting, but his physique is not due to being fat but to his terrifying muscle ratio. In the comics, he even had the experience of overpowering Spider-Man with his strength.

With that thought in mind, Wayne landed in the direction of the factory.

……

Inside the factory.

Gwen entered through the bullet-pierced skylight, glanced around, and finally fixed her gaze on Kingpin—to catch the thief, catch the king first! Take care of this guy who's obviously the boss first!

At this moment, Kingpin had not yet noticed that another guy had barged in. He was frowning as he observed the spider freak, wondering where that guy had come from.

The next second, Kingpin, hearing the commotion, instinctively raised his cane, only to find a clump of spider silk stuck to it—how could this be! That spider freak clearly didn't shoot any silk at him!

Realizing something, Kingpin suddenly looked up, only to see Gwen swinging on her webs and kicking him with both feet!

Kingpin was kicked away before he could react!

Although Gwen's strength may be slightly less than Peter's, it is still about ten tons, enough to easily lift a car and smash through a wall. Kingpin was not happy to be kicked like that.

However, this is not enough to render Kingpin incapable of resistance.

"Another spider freak?!"

Kingpin angrily ordered his henchmen to point their guns at Gwen.

Peter, still dealing with the gangsters, was also somewhat bewildered. "A second spider-like ability user? I thought I was the only one!"

Peter dodged bullets with a somersault and kicked one of the gangsters away. He then swung his webs towards Kingpin, not forgetting to ask Gwen, who was nearby, "Hey! Hello, I'm Spider-Man! What's your name? How did you get your powers? Were you bitten by a mutated spider too?"

"Are you usually this talkative?"

Gwen dodged the bullets by sidestepping, shot out a web from her right hand to stick the opponent's gun to her, and then flung it at another gangster who was attacking her.

"No, actually, I'm usually quite... uh... okay?"

Seeing that Gwen simply jumped away, Peter shrugged helplessly, but then he seemed to think of something—could there be a third spider-powered user?

After all, two have already appeared, so it's not surprising that another one will come, right?

Peter, who was looking around, then spotted Wayne sitting in the distance watching the show.
