"Steve!"

On the helipad of the new Avengers base, Black Panther T'Challa, dressed in traditional Wakanda attire, is shaking hands and greeting Steve Rogers.

Behind T'Challa is Black Panther's wife, Storm of the X-Men—Aurora Monroe, with black skin and white hair, a rare black beauty, and also a powerful Omega-level mutant.

"T'Challa, it's so good that you made it here."

"I was originally also supposed to come to the United States on behalf of Wakanda to discuss some things about Kenosha."

T'Challa was telling Steve about the recent changes in the international situation.

Since T'Challa's wife is a mutant, Wakanda's attitude towards mutants is definitely positive, and they are one of the countries that do not openly oppose mutants.

Especially after the Avengers discovered that Hydra was behind all of this, T'Challa became even more convinced of his belief.

"Let's talk more on the way, Captain Rogers."

Ororo was clearly in a hurry to get to Xavier's Academy for Gifted Youngsters.

Even though she is now the Queen of Wakanda and is almost leaving the X-Men, she still has an unbreakable bond with her friends.

The United States was originally the country most opposed to mutants. Even though the president has changed his policies, the public's hatred of mutants is hard to change. Therefore, Ororo is a little worried about her friends.

"You're right, Ororo, we..."

Before Steve could finish speaking, he instinctively turned around and looked over, and T'Challa and Ororo did the same.

Tap tap tap... A white cloak fluttered in the breeze as a tall, white-gold figure slowly appeared on the tarmac.

"Gentlemen, would you mind giving me a ride along the way?"

……

Meanwhile, in the other side of the conference room, everyone was staring at Susan with astonishment.

"Susan, are you sick?"

Johnny stared at his sister in disbelief.

Susan actually encouraged Wayne to find other women? Was he dreaming, or was the end of the world approaching?

Although Susan had previously allowed Gwen and the others to share Wayne with her, she had never actively asked Wayne to go to them!

"If you can't speak properly, then shut up!"

Susan punched Johnny in annoyance, then sighed with relief. She simply stopped trying to keep Wayne by her side and wanted to make Wayne feel better. Besides... she was confident that she would never lose to them.

Seeing this, the others quickly looked away. Tony put on a serious expression and said, "Ahem, so what we need to do next is to find the source of the online rumors, locate and infiltrate the Hydra base to find evidence, arrest the mastermind behind it, and..."

……

On the Wakanda private plane bound for Xavier's Academy for Gifted Youngsters.

Wayne leaned back in his luxurious airplane chair, staring blankly out the window, lost in thought.

Meanwhile, Steve and his two companions, who had been stealing glances at Wayne to guess what he was thinking, remained silent.

It wasn't until T'Challa reached out his hand to Wayne and said, "Superman, I've heard of you, a young and powerful warrior, a brave and fearless hero. I am the King of Wakanda. Just call me T'Challa."

Upon hearing this, Wayne snapped out of his daze, glanced at T'Challa and the other's outstretched hand, then extended his own hand, shook it, and exchanged a few polite words.

Seeing this, Steve also tried to lighten the mood by starting a conversation—but it turned out that the captain wasn't suited to being a talker; he only talked about missions and work.

However, Steve wasn't entirely oblivious to this. Realizing they weren't keen on discussing missions, he tried to change the subject, "Speaking of which, Wayne, why did you come with us on the plane? Wouldn't it have been faster if you flew there yourself?"

"..."

Captain, you're amazing! You almost killed the conversation the moment you opened your mouth.

The Black Panther couple couldn't help but worry about Steve's emotional intelligence, though it was also possible that this World War II veteran was simply straightforward in his thinking.

Wayne didn't really know why he didn't just fly over... Maybe it was because he didn't know how to face them? After all, he had already given them the lollipops, and if they asked him to fulfill his promise, he didn't know what to do.

Seeing that Wayne didn't speak, the Black Panther couple became even more certain that the captain had killed the conversation.

Helpless, T'Challa could only take over the task of "easing tension" that Steve had originally wanted to take on, and took the initiative to chat with Wayne about the delicious food and beautiful scenery of Wakanda.

Steve seemed to have finally found a place to chime in, talking about the various landscapes he had seen in different places during his time in World War II.

Aurora, who hadn't joined the chat, took out her phone—which was practically a tiny, transparent screen—and quietly snapped a picture of Wayne.

Wayne noticed this but only glanced at it casually before ignoring it.

Ororo then posted the photo in the X-Men's group chat with the caption: "Guess who I met?"

[Phoenix: ??? What are you doing there? You're a bit too close, Aurora (smiling with a hidden dagger.jpg)]

[White Queen: !!! Report your location!]

[Wolverine: @Phoenix @White Queen, do you guys have a grudge against this guy in the photo? Why are you reacting so strongly?]

[Iceman: Cool! This is the first time I've ever seen a Superman photo taken this close up! Even cooler than in the news!]

Cyclops: Is Superman coming to the academy too?

[White Queen: Oh, right, it seems like Ororo was indeed saying he was bringing other people to the academy, so he's here too? I'll wait for him here then. (Happy kitten.jpg)]

[White Queen: But Jean is right, Ororo, you're a bit too close (hiding a brick behind her back.jpg)]

[Angel: I smell gossip.]
