Silence reigned before the prison gates.

The night breeze caressed his face, carrying a sense of freedom. Tuoba Han took a deep breath, his eyes filled with the ecstatic joy of surviving a calamity.

"They're out! They're finally out!"

"Third brother, let's go quickly! Before Su Mu can react, let's leave the city tonight!"

He was incredibly excited and urged everyone to leave quickly.

He didn't want to face Su Mu anymore.

Tuoba Lie, however, was not as optimistic as him.

His brows were furrowed, and his eyes scanned his surroundings warily. It was too quiet.

With the prison so poorly guarded, would Su Mu really make such a basic mistake? Or is it...?

"Your Highness!"

"Hurry up!"

Xue Wuchen urged him in a low voice, taking the lead and charging ahead.

The group rushed out of the side gate of the prison, passed through a small alley, and arrived at the open space in the backyard of the government office.

Suddenly, torches lit up all around.

The orange-red light instantly illuminated the entire open space as if it were daytime.

With a loud crash.

The side gates, main gate, and side gates of the government office opened simultaneously, and countless constables and soldiers poured out from all directions, armed with knives, spears, shields, and crossbows, surrounding Tuoba Lie and his men.

Shields were linked together, and swords and spears blocked their path.

The torchlight reflected off the cold blade, creating a blinding glint.

Tuoba Han's smile froze on his face, and the excitement in his heart plummeted.

He muttered to himself, "Damn it, this is a trap."

Tuoba Lie's pupils suddenly contracted, and he thought to himself, "As expected, all of this is in Su Mu's plan."

This old man won't let them off easily.

Xue Wuchen's expression changed drastically, his hand gripped the hilt of his sword, and his body tensed instantly.

"We've been ambushed!" a Northern Di expert behind us exclaimed in a low voice.

Su Mu slowly walked out from the crowd.

His full head of white hair gleamed silver in the torchlight, his back was slightly bent, and his steps were slow but steady.

"Give up, you can't escape."

Tuoba Han gritted his teeth, looking at Su Mu with despair in his eyes.

"Su Mu...you...you knew all along?"

Su Mu did not answer Tuoba Han, but stared intently at Xue Wuchen, at the blood-dripping sword in his hand, and at the dozen or so black-clad assassins behind him.

"I withdrew the guards from the prison just to wait for you to come."

He paused, then his smile deepened.

"Now, none of you are missing, and none of you are leaving."

Cold sweat beaded on Xue Wuchen's forehead.

He had roamed the martial arts world for decades, believing himself to be unparalleled in lightness skills and swordsmanship, and had never made a mistake.

But today, facing this old man who was even older than him, he felt no confidence at all.

I had a feeling that this centenarian man in front of me carried a terrifying power that was quite frightening when it was unleashed.

"You must be Su Mu? You're quite formidable." Xue Wuchen gritted his teeth, his voice low. "But do you think these constables can stop me?"

The assassins behind him drew their weapons, creating a scene of flashing blades and swirling swords, exuding a murderous aura.

These people were all top-notch experts who had followed Tuoba Lie for many years. They were all battle-hardened and fearless.

They were not afraid of the constables surrounding them.

"Elder Xue, please take the two princes and leave first!"

A burly assassin stood in front of Xue Wuchen, his eyes filled with determination.

"Old Xue, leave these people to us!"

"You cover the prince's escape!"

"Fight your way out!"

The assassins roared in unison, blades pointed outwards, ready to fight to the death.

The burly assassin sneered and sized Su Mu up and down.

With white hair, a hunched back, and no weapons.

This is the fearsome War God of the Great Qian Dynasty?

That's really surprising.

"Old man, you're unarmed, yet you dare to boast? There are so many of us, one person with a knife each, we could chop you into mincemeat!"

Another assassin grinned maliciously, "Let's swarm him and kill him while this old man is unarmed. That would be a great service to the Northern Barbarians!"

"Yes! Kill him!"

After saying that, more than a dozen assassins roared in unison, raised their weapons, and rushed towards Su Mu like a tidal wave.

Swords clashed and shadows flashed, a murderous aura filled the sky.

Su Mu stood still, motionless.

"bring it on."

He slowly raised both palms.

The internal energy surged like a flood, gathering in his palms.

Golden light burst forth from his palm, growing brighter and more intense, like two small suns rising in the night sky.

"The dragon that soars too high will regret it!"

Su Mu let out a low shout and thrust out his right palm.

A huge golden dragon shadow flew out from the palm of his hand, its roar shaking the heavens and illuminating the entire night sky.

The dragon's shadow was incredibly lifelike, with its head, horns, whiskers, and scales clearly visible. It charged towards the dozen or so assassins with a devastating aura.

"boom!"

A deafening roar shook the earth.

A burst of golden light erupted, like the blazing sun overhead, blinding everyone.

Wherever the palm strike passed, swords and spears shattered, armor crumbled, and blood and flesh flew everywhere.

Before the dozen or so assassins could even scream, they were swallowed by the golden dragon shadow. Their bodies flew backward like kites with broken strings, crashing heavily to the ground. They coughed up blood, twitched a few times, and then lay still.

one move.

A dozen or so Northern Di masters.

They were all killed.

Corpses lay scattered on the ground, their blood pooling together, gleaming eerily in the torchlight.

The air was thick with the pungent smell of blood, mixed with the burnt odor from the palm strikes, making one want to vomit.

The entire venue was deathly silent.

All the constables were dumbfounded, and they almost dropped their knives.

Their mouths were agape, their eyes were wide open, and their minds were completely blank.

"One...one palm strike? One palm strike killed more than a dozen people?"

"What kind of martial art is this? Am I seeing things?"

"Elder Su... what kind of divine skill is this, Elder Su?"

Tuoba Han's face was as white as paper, his legs went weak, and he collapsed to the ground, trembling all over.

"Third brother... third brother... is this Su Mu... even human?"

Tuoba Lie remained silent.

His eyes were fixed on Su Mu's hands, his pupils contracted, and a chill ran down his spine.

His Flowing Water Divine Sword was no match for Su Mu's swordsmanship, and he thought that was Su Mu's full strength.

But now it seems he was wrong.

Big mistakes.

Su Mu's swordsmanship, knife skills, and spear skills are all less than one-tenth as good as this palm technique.

"What kind of palm technique is this?" Tuoba Lie muttered to himself.

Xue Wuchen's expression also changed.

His sword was already drawn, but his hand was trembling.

He had practiced swordsmanship for decades and believed that his swordsmanship had reached the pinnacle. But Su Mu's palm strike made him instantly understand what it meant to be "there are heavens beyond heavens and people beyond people".

"Old Master Xue, let's go!" Tuoba Lie suddenly came to his senses and shouted in a low voice.

Xue Wuchen gritted his teeth, grabbed Tuoba Lie's arm, lightly touched the ground with his toes, and soared into the air, using his lightness skill to fly towards the courtyard wall.

His lightness skill was superb; in the blink of an eye, he had covered several feet and was about to climb over the wall.

Left behind, Tuoba Han cried out in desperation, "Elder Xue! Don't forget me! Take me with you!"

Xue Wuchen didn't have time to turn around.

He had only one thought: to save Tuoba Lie.

As for Tuoba Han, he couldn't care less.

If you bring two of them along, none of them will be able to escape.

Su Mu looked up and glanced at it, a cold glint flashing in his eyes.

"Trying to run away?"

He struck out with both palms.

"Two dragons drawing water!"

Two golden dragon shadows flew out from his palms simultaneously, one to the left and one to the right, drawing two arcs in the air as they headed straight for Xue Wuchen and Tuoba Lie.

In an instant, two dragon shadows, like invisible ropes, wrapped around Xue Wuchen and Tuoba Lie's bodies and pulled them back sharply.

"what!"

Xue Wuchen's lightness skill was broken, and his body fell uncontrollably from the air, crashing heavily to the ground with Tuoba Lie. They rolled twice, looking utterly disheveled.

The two fell to the ground, struggling to get up, but they were in excruciating pain in their chests and their legs were too weak to stand up.

Xue Wuchen raised his head and looked at Su Mu, his eyes filled with despair.

"What kind of palm technique is this? It can actually suck people in from a distance..."
