Zero spotted an opening.

Holding a glass of Château d'Yquem Sauternes, a 1988 vintage, he had just "casually" asked the waiter for it.

With a youthful smile of admiration for a "legendary figure," he naturally steered the conversation into the conversation.

"Mr. Victor, your speech was truly brilliant! Especially your views on 'technology empowering peace,' which perfectly align with our company's investment philosophy."

Zero's voice was clear, with just the right amount of enthusiasm.

Victor clearly enjoyed the compliment from the young man, especially given the young man's impressive background:

"Haha, Mr. Wu is truly young and promising! It seems we are kindred spirits."

"Especially your insights into infrastructure development in Africa."

Zero continued to flatter, seemingly unintentionally leaning forward slightly to close the distance, his right hand elegantly resting on his tie, as if somewhat excited.

"This is precisely where blockchain technology can play its most significant role, such as addressing cross-border payments and supply chain transparency..."

"This is precisely where blockchain technology can play its most significant role, such as addressing cross-border payments and supply chain transparency..."

Just as Victor leaned forward, his attention completely drawn to the topic that interested him—

Zero's right hand, which was adjusting his tie, slid down very naturally, and the diamond-shaped tip of the platinum tie clip paused almost imperceptibly for 0.1 seconds about 3 centimeters from Victor's left breast pocket.

"Sizzle..."

A faint, high-frequency sound that is almost imperceptible to the human ear.

Victor's smile froze instantly, his pupils dilated sharply, and he clutched his left chest with his right hand, letting out a short "Ugh..." before his body stiffened and he fell backward, his face filled with extreme pain and shock. The water glass in his hand fell to the ground and shattered.

"Mr. Victor?! What's wrong?!"

Zero reacted incredibly quickly. He immediately put on an expression of extreme panic and concern, took a step forward, cleverly blocked most of the view with his body, and supported Victor who was falling.

To outsiders, this appears to be a young person's instinctive reaction to being startled by an unexpected situation.

Chaos erupted instantly! Screams and gasps filled the air. Bodyguards rushed in frantically.

Before the bodyguards arrived, Zero seemed to be "shocked" and "unable to hold on," and his body "accidentally" staggered, and he and Victor "weakly" slid down together.

In this perfect blind spot, his left hand, like the most exquisite concealed weapon technique taught by Silence, precisely and swiftly reached into the inside pocket of Victor's suit, pulled out the encrypted chip smaller than a fingernail, and smoothly slid it into a specially made hidden pocket in his cuff.

The entire process was completed in the blink of an eye, smoothly, naturally, and without any artificiality.

"Doctor! Call a doctor quickly!"

Zero was roughly pulled away by the bodyguards who "reacted" to what was happening. His face remained pale, shaken, and even tinged with self-reproach, revealing a perfect expression that seemed to say, "Did I say something too agitating and upset him?" He shouted loudly.

The island's doctor arrived quickly, and after examining the patient, shook his head with a grave expression.

"Preliminary assessment... indicates a sudden malfunction of the pacemaker... leading to sudden cardiac death..."

The doctor's words were filled with disbelief.

An "accident" that seemed to have no flaws.

In the ensuing chaos, Zero (Alexander Wu), as an eyewitness and "possible" source of the commotion, was briefly questioned by the security chief and the (bribed) private island police who arrived later.

His performance was impeccable: a terrified young man, filled with lingering fear and sorrow, spoke with clear logic but with an emotional tremor, perfectly recounting the "incident" in a carefully crafted version, and expressing his utmost respect and regret for Mr. Victor.

His identity, background, and motivations were flawless, and even his "sadness" seemed so real—after all, he had "lost" an "investment mentor."

The questioning ended quickly, and he even received sympathy and comfort from the police officer.

An hour later, the preliminary investigation concluded, with no evidence of homicide found, and guests were allowed to leave one after another.

Zero boarded his private jet and calmly flew away from "Wings of Paradise" island.
