My absurd experiences in North America over the years

Li Fu knew his chance had come. "Wait for me a moment, I'm going to see someone."

He greeted Taylor Swift, walked through the living room, went around to the second floor from the side, and didn't walk in the direction that Bix was directly in. Then he stopped about two meters behind Bix.

"What a coincidence, Mr. Bix. Did you just return to Los Angeles tonight? I didn't expect to see you here."

Li Fu pretended that the two had met by chance.

Bix turned around and saw Li Fu, who first frowned slightly, as if wondering who this person was.

"Yes! I have a contract to sign tomorrow, so I rushed back," Bix said, looking at Li Fu. "I heard you recently became a new investor in MGM. You certainly made a big splash right away."

"The news spread really fast," Li Fu shook his head. "It's not a big deal, but I just felt it would be a real shame not to explore these two IPs."

"These things can't be kept secret in the industry," Bix said, taking a sip of his drink. His tone was relaxed, as if he were talking about something that had nothing to do with him. "It's a good thing that MGM found investors. Hollywood needs more companies that can make big-budget productions."

Li Fu looked at him and thought to himself, "He's really good at pretending!"
