The Emperor's Mansion, seventh floor, digital equipment area.

Qin Ziyang and Zhang Xianglin were both visiting the Emperor Hotel for the first time.

The two were constantly amazed by the luxurious decor of the mall as they walked.

The waitress, Xiaomei, led them to the entrance of a shop and stopped to introduce the place.

"Gentlemen, this is the best digital camera brand store on the seventh floor, the Sony flagship store."

The shop assistant at the entrance saw that someone was accompanying and leading a customer in, and greeted them with a smile as they entered the store. "Hello, welcome to the Sony flagship store. What kind of digital products would you like to buy? We not only carry Sony products, but also the latest models from other brands."

Qin Ziyang glanced around the store and said generously, "Take me to see your best digital camera."

He hadn't forgotten what Qin Zheng had told him last night: when buying things, buy the most expensive ones.

The shop assistant beamed with joy upon hearing this; customers with this kind of tone are usually the most generous spenders! They're definitely big spenders!

She bent low and led the way, saying respectfully, "Okay, this way please."

Qin Ziyang and Zhang Xianglin followed the shop assistant forward and soon arrived at a counter where several casually dressed but superior-looking teenagers were holding demo units and taking pictures of various parts of the store. While taking pictures, they discussed in hushed tones about the quality of the cameras and the film imaging effects, their expressions full of pride.

Upon seeing Qin Ziyang and his companion approach, the group instinctively stopped what they were doing and looked them up and down.

Upon seeing Qin Ziyang's fashionable and trendy attire and his imposing air of nobility, they suppressed their playful expressions.

However, when they saw that Zhang Xianglin was dressed plainly, the group exchanged glances and saw contempt in each other's eyes.

"They don't look really rich. Their entourage is too low-class. They're probably just putting on an act," someone whispered.

The group nodded, agreeing with the man's opinion.

Ignoring the gazes of the others, Qin Ziyang looked directly at the sales clerk and asked in a deep voice, "How much are these two cameras?"

The salesperson quickly stepped forward and pointed to one of the silver cameras: "Sir, this is the Sony VENICE2, one of the best cameras in our store, priced at 50."

Qin Ziyang frowned slightly. "I asked about the most expensive, not the best."

The sales clerk paused for a moment, then reacted, his smile widening as he pointed to the black camera displayed in the glass counter and introduced, "Excuse me, sir! The most expensive one is this ARRI ALEXA 65, the camera used in Hollywood blockbusters. Its image quality is top-notch, and it costs 120 million!"

As she spoke, she quickly took out two prototype machines and carefully handed them to Qin Ziyang for trial use.

Qin Ziyang took it and casually handed it to Zhang Xianglin, saying in a nonchalant tone, "Try it and see if it's comfortable for you."

This was the first time Zhang Xianglin had handled such an expensive camera. His hands trembled slightly as he gripped the prototype tightly.

He used the photography techniques he had learned before, supporting the bottom of the camera with one hand and holding the body with the other. He looked close to the viewfinder and awkwardly flicked the shutter button, taking a few pictures of the items in the shop. He looked nervous and flustered.

"Look at his technique, it's so rough!"

"Exactly, he can't even hold the camera right, yet he dares to buy a million-dollar camera? He's just a newbie pretending to be a pro."

"I think these two are just here to play around with the demo unit. They can't afford it at all. This is a 120 million yuan camera. Not just anyone can afford it."

Upon seeing this, the group couldn't help but sneer, their mocking words undisguised and their tone full of contempt.

They realized that these two people knew nothing about cameras, let alone how to buy one.

Zhang Xianglin's face flushed red instantly. He gripped the camera tightly with both hands, feeling extremely uncomfortable and filled with guilt.

He seems to have embarrassed Qin Ziyang.

Qin Ziyang, however, didn't care at all. He looked up at the shop assistant and said in a calm but domineering tone, "I'll buy these two cameras. Swipe your card."

One sentence stunned the people present, and the mockery on their faces froze.

But the next second, one of the young men with silver-gray hair became stubborn again.

"Hmph, what are you pretending to be, rich guy? These are commercial cameras, for shooting movies and blockbusters. What, you want him to raise both hands to take the picture? Do you know how heavy these cameras are? Stop showing off!"

"Exactly! They're just pretending to know what they're talking about. They think buying an expensive camera makes them look like experts? Ridiculous! You guys don't understand cameras at all!"

Qin Ziyang chuckled, waved his hand, and ordered the shop assistant, "Bring out your two most expensive consumer cameras."

Upon hearing this, the salesperson quickly brought out two cameras. "Sir, the most expensive consumer cameras in our store are the Sony Alpha 1 and the Leica S3. The former is priced at 13.4 yuan, and the latter at 14.86 yuan."

Qin Ziyang didn't even ask the price, he just took out his bank card and handed it to the shop assistant: "Swipe card, settle the bill for all four cameras together."

The clerk smiled, took the card, swiped it on the machine, and a payment success notification sounded.

The men's expressions changed slightly, as if they realized they had offended someone.

Qin Ziyang turned to look at them, his tone dripping with sarcasm: "So what if it's a commercial camera? Can't I buy it and take some photos at home? You're just bored and have the nerve to mock others? If you're so capable, why don't you buy one too?"

One of the arrogant young men, unconvinced, stepped forward and shouted at the sales clerk, "Give me another one of all the cameras he just mentioned!"

The shop assistant beamed and quickly agreed.

Qin Ziyang raised an eyebrow, smiled, and said slowly to the shop assistant, "Take one of every camera in the store that costs tens of thousands. I want them all."

After saying that, he turned to look at the young master, his eyes full of mockery: "How about it? I'll buy them all, and you get one of each too? Don't chicken out, weren't you being pretty arrogant just now?"

Upon hearing this, the young master froze on the spot, his arrogance vanishing instantly. His face turned pale and then red, and he opened his mouth but couldn't utter a single word.

He comes from a wealthy family, but he bought all the cameras in the store—forty or fifty models costing tens of thousands of yuan each—totaling at least three million yuan, or even more.

He didn't have that much money on him; if he wanted to buy everything, he would have to call his dad and ask for more.

But what if his dad asks him why he needs so much money? Is he supposed to say he wants to buy dozens of cameras? If he does, will he even be able to get out of bed when he gets home?

The others also looked grim, lowered their heads, and dared not utter another sarcastic remark.

They don't have that much money; they were just putting on a show.

The shop assistant looked at Qin Ziyang with even more respect on his face and quickly went to prepare the goods.

Qin Ziyang patted Zhang Xianglin on the shoulder and said in a relaxed tone, "Don't worry about them. You can practice with these cameras as much as you like. Just practice until you're proficient."

Zhang Xianglin nodded, his guilt lessening considerably. His eyes were filled with gratitude as he looked at Qin Ziyang. "Ziyang, thank you."

Those who had been so arrogant before could only sheepishly put down the display models in their hands and, under the watchful eyes of the shop assistants, hurriedly ran out of the digital store in a disheveled manner.

Even the person who said he wanted to buy four cameras left without paying.

After Zhang Xianglin picked up the Leica S3, Qin Ziyang instructed the shop assistant to deliver all the remaining cameras to Longhu Manor.

As soon as Qin Ziyang stepped out of the store, his phone rang. It was the deputy manager calling.

"Hey, I won't be going back for lunch. Could you tell Grandpa that I'll be having lunch at the Qin family mansion?"

After hanging up the phone, he looked at Zhang Xianglin, who was beaming with excitement, and said, "I won't be going home for lunch. I'll take you to a five-star restaurant owned by the Qin family."

Zhang Xianglin's eyes lit up. "Great!"

A five-star restaurant? He'd never seen or eaten at one before.

Holding his camera in both hands, Zhang Xianglin walked around taking several photos of the crystal chandeliers hanging in the sky, as well as the tourists and recreational facilities in the distance.

"what?"

Zhang Xianglin suddenly stopped, puzzling Qin Ziyang. He turned around and looked at Zhang Xianglin, who was still fiddling with his camera. "Why did you stop?"

Zhang Xianglin frowned. Through his camera's view, he spotted a familiar figure at a coffee shop's outdoor display stand.

It seems to be Ziyang's girlfriend, Yang Xue.

Next to her sat a bespectacled, refined-looking man, and the two were chatting and laughing.

"Ziyang, I think I see Yang Xue!"
