Chapter 460 Only one piece left! Coordinates to Laugh Tale
When Victor, Nami, and Robin returned to the garden that the Kozuki family had arranged for the Straw Hat crew, the sun was already setting in the west.
The three had mysteriously disappeared for nearly half a day, and the courtyard was already in chaos.
Luffy lay on the highest point of the roof, shading his eyes with his hand as he looked towards the direction of General's City.
Usopp and Chopper have discussed whether they should form a search and rescue team to go underground and look for them.
Upon seeing the three figures appear at the end of the corridor, Luffy's eyes lit up, and he jumped off the roof.
"Victor!"
When he landed, his legs went weak and he almost crashed into a pillar, but he still rushed to the three of them immediately.
"Where have you been? We were so worried about you!"
Viktor glanced at the crowd that had clearly been waiting for a long time in the courtyard, and his smiling face returned.
"I went to find something."
"It's been found."
Luffy tilted his head.
"What is it?"
"The historical text of the third road sign."
The courtyard fell silent instantly.
Luffy's expression froze instantly.
"Road sign...Poneglyphs?"
Sanji, who was preparing ingredients in the kitchen, stopped cutting.
Franky looked up from the pile of parts.
Even Zoro, who was leaning against the wall with his eyes closed to rest, opened his eyes and looked at the three of them.
Robin wasn't deliberately keeping everyone in suspense.
She took out the prepared rubbings from her bag and laid them out on the long table in the center of the courtyard.
"The third Road Poneglyph that Kaido possesses is located underground in Wano Country."
"The ancient land of Wa, dating back eight hundred years, is still preserved there."
"We have completed the full text rubbing and recorded the coordinates."
Luffy stared at the rubbing for a long time, still maintaining a blank expression.
Nami then took out a nautical chart and placed the three map documents that the Straw Hat crew currently possessed on the table one by one.
"The first one is from Dressrosa."
Those were spoils they obtained from deep within the underground fighting arena after defeating Doflamingo.
"The second one is from Zou."
A massive red stone monument hidden deep within the Whale Forest, guarded by the Mink Tribe for generations.
"The third piece is the one underground in Wano Country."
Nami picked up a pen and marked the coordinates that Robin had just translated on the nautical chart.
Robin also explained from the side:
"Each road sign's history records a location."
"The four locations are connected to each other, and the place where they finally converge is the true final island—Laugh Tale."
Usopp stretched out his fingers and counted the rubbings on the table one by one.
One.
Two.
Three.
He suddenly stopped counting.
"In other words..."
Usopp looked up, his voice trembling slightly.
"Are we just one piece away?"
Nami nodded.
"Once we obtain the Poneglyph of the World of Warcraft, we will be able to pinpoint the location of Laugh Tale."
The courtyard fell silent once again.
This time, no one cheered immediately.
Because everyone understands what those words truly mean.
They set off from the East China Sea, crossed the Reverse Mountain, and traversed the Grand Line.
They have experienced the deserts of Alabasta, the white sea of Sky Island, and the gunfire of Enies Lobby.
They also experienced the Marineford War, Fishman Island, Dressrosa, Zou, and Wano Country.
Along the way, they brushed with death countless times and lost their way countless times.
The final island, which initially existed only in Luffy's declaration, is now finally no longer out of reach.
They were only missing one set of coordinates.
"We're almost there!"
Chopper was the first to jump up, excitedly spinning around the table.
Franky clasped his arms together, tears streaming down his face from behind his sunglasses.
"Cross the entire ocean, collect all four red stone tablets, and find a location that no one in the world can pinpoint!"
"This is absolutely romantic!"
Brooke had already picked up the violin.
"Once I reach Laugh Tale, I will definitely compose a brand new piece of music for that island."
"Although I no longer have a heart that can beat with excitement, yohohoho!"
Sanji lit a cigarette and took a deep drag.
The smoke obscured the barely suppressed smile on his lips.
He looked up at the sky, as if imagining what the end of the sea looked like.
Zoro remained leaning against the wall, his tone calm.
"Just because you're one piece away doesn't mean you've arrived."
Usopp immediately turned his head.
"Hey, Zoro!"
"Can't you at least cheer us up a little at a time like this?"
"If the last piece were so easy to get, the old lady would have found Laugh Tale long ago."
"That's why we should be even happier! At least now there's only one enemy left!"
The arguing among the crowd resumed.
Nami didn't participate, but only looked at Luffy, who was still standing by the table in a daze.
"Luffy".
Luffy looked up.
Nami pointed to the three rubbings on the table.
"Once you get the last piece, you'll truly be just one step away from becoming the Pirate King."
Luffy stared at the rubbing for a few seconds.
The next moment, he suddenly threw his head back and burst into laughter.
"Hehehehe!"
With both arms outstretched to the left and right, they wrapped around the pillars and eaves in the courtyard, grabbing all the nearby companions in one go.
"etc!"
"Yohohoho!"
"Luffy, what are you doing?!"
"Ah! Why did he suddenly go crazy!"
Before anyone could react, they were all pulled together by his arms.
Nami, Chopper, and Usopp were squeezed in the middle, barely able to breathe.
Sanji found himself being forced to stand close to Zoro, and his face instantly contorted in pain.
"Separate me from this green algae head!"
Do you think I want to rely on you?
Zoro tried to draw his sword, but he couldn't even pull his arm out.
Franky's metallic body was sandwiched in the middle of the crowd, causing Usopp to scream in pain.
"Frankie! Your shoulder is pressing against my ribs!"
"This is the passionate clash between comrades!"
Victor and Robin were both pulled into the crowd by Luffy.
Luffy, however, showed no intention of letting go, his smile brighter than the sun.
"I'm going to be the Pirate King!"
"We're almost there in Laugh Tale!"
"Everyone! Together!"
boom!
Nami struggled to free one hand and punched Luffy on the head.
"Let us off the hook first!"
Luffy's head instantly swelled up with a big bump, and his arm finally loosened.
The group rubbed their aching bodies while loudly complaining.
But everyone had a smile on their face.
Laugh Tale is never just Luffy's destination.
That's the answer the entire ship has been searching for to see all this time.
Once the courtyard was restored to order, everyone began discussing the final piece of the historical text on the road sign.
Victor sat down at the table.
"According to the intelligence we currently have, the fourth piece of the text is still in Whole Cake Island, and is being guarded by the Big Mom Pirates."
"In the last battle with the old lady, our main objective was not the Poneglyphs, so we did not obtain any rubbings."
Robin nodded slightly.
"The old lady was defeated by us before, and she will surely strengthen her defenses after returning to the Kingdom of Worlds."
"The location of the last road sign's text may be even more hidden than before."
Zoro placed the sword in front of his knee.
"No matter how many people are guarding it, I will go again."
"Without the fourth coordinate, the other three rubbings are just waste paper."
"It's not waste paper!"
Nami immediately glared at him.
"These three items are worth far more than you!"
Luffy didn't consider the difficulty of infiltrating at all, nor did he care whether the Big Mom Pirates had strengthened their defenses.
He stood up abruptly.
"Then let's go to World of Warcraft!"
Unbeknownst to them, the world they spoke of was no longer what they remembered.
After discussing the main text of the road sign, Robin brought up another discovery in the underground old country.
"It's not just about the historical records of the Red Army."
She looked at everyone with a serious expression.
"The ancient weapon Pluton also lies dormant beneath Wano Country."
The atmosphere in the courtyard suddenly froze.
Frankie's reaction was the most obvious.
He had personally kept the blueprints for Pluto and knew better than anyone what that warship represented.
"Is the real Hades here?"
Robin nodded.
"The present-day Wano Country is built on top of an ancient country that has been submerged."
"The so-called opening of the country does not mean opening the ports, but rather destroying the huge barriers surrounding the country's borders and letting the water that has accumulated for hundreds of years flow into the sea."
"Once the high walls fall, the old kingdom will reappear, and Hades will be released from the underworld."
She told everyone about Momonosuke and Hiyori's decision to postpone the opening of the country.
They will not allow this ancient weapon, which is capable of changing the world order, to see the light of day again until Wano Country has been rebuilt and has sufficient self-defense capabilities.
Usopp couldn't help but look at Luffy.
"That's a legendary warship capable of destroying an island in a single blow."
"Wouldn't it make our trip to the world much easier if we had this?"
Luffy shook his head without hesitation.
"don't want."
"Why?!"
"The Sonny is good enough."
Franky froze instantly.
The next moment, tears streamed down her face like a waterfall from behind her sunglasses.
"Luffy!"
"Now you finally understand the true romance of the Sonny!"
He opened his arms and lunged at Luffy, but Luffy pushed him away in disgust.
"Besides, the Pirate King wasn't made by a ship capable of destroying islands."
Luffy patted his feet and calmly said...
"I want to travel with everyone on the Sunny to Laugh Tale."
Viktor was not surprised at all.
If Luffy were to abandon the Sunny simply because Pluton is powerful, he would no longer be the captain everyone knows.
Robin reorganized the rubbings.
"It is indeed safest for Hades to remain underground for the time being."
"As for whether it needs to be released in the future, we should at least wait until we arrive in Raphdru and truly understand the history of the Void Century before making a decision."
Perhaps on that day, the warships that have been dormant for eight hundred years will finally sail back to the sea.
but not now.
Luffy stood up again.
"Since we only need one more piece, let's hurry up and set off!"
Chopper immediately blocked his way.
"Your injury hasn't fully healed yet!"
Luffy stretched his arms a few times and jumped twice more in place.
"It's all healed now!"
As soon as he finished speaking, his knees buckled slightly.
Chopper was so angry that he rammed into his stomach.
Although Luffy's statement was clearly exaggerated, the Straw Hat crew had already been resting in Wano Country for several days.
Thanks to their strong physiques and Chopper's healing, the main members regained their basic mobility.
Franky and Usopp have already repaired most of the damage to the Thousand Sunny.
Victor looked at the crowd.
"Staying here will only push the final piece of the text further away from us."
"We really should prepare to leave."
Nami was the first to agree.
She was prepared to immediately confirm the route to the Kingdom of Wales, as well as the fresh water and supplies that needed to be replenished along the way.
Frankie patted his chest and assured him that the Sunny would complete its final overhaul by tomorrow.
Sanji decides to go to the Shogun's residence to negotiate the supply issue.
Fresh water, meat, vegetables, and medicine are all indispensable.
Luffy stood in the center of the courtyard again and raised his arm high.
"Then it's decided!"
"Ready to set sail!"
"Next stop—World of Nations!"
The responses from his companions echoed throughout the courtyard.
