One Piece: Starting with Sharingan, First Mate Uchiha

Chapter 33 Pirate Methods and Ingratitude

The first rays of morning sunlight pierced the darkness of the sea.

"Click".

Victor slowly sheathed his longsword without expression.

At the same time, he casually flicked his other hand, and a kunai transformed into a black streak of light, instantly piercing through the body of Zango, who was trying to get up and run away in the distance.

The hypnotist collapsed onto the beach before he could even scream.

At this moment, Zoro finally defeated the "little cat" and, wielding the Wado Ichimonji, descended to the beach below.

He looked down at the beach littered with corpses and couldn't help but click his tongue.

"Hey, Luffy! It's all your fault for leading me the wrong way! I missed the best part!"

Zoro turned to Luffy beside him and complained.

Luffy scratched his head innocently, blinking his big eyes:

"But Zoro, it was you who showed me the way. You said there was a sound over there."

"I was talking about the direction of the sound! Who told you to jump straight off the cliff?!" Zoro said angrily.

"Hahaha!"

Viktor couldn't help but burst into laughter at the sight, and his previously cold killing intent dissipated considerably.

"How dishonest of you, you directionally challenged swordsman. You're the one who can't even tell left from right, aren't you?"

"What did you say?! You want to fight, you red-eyed bastard!" Zoro's forehead veins bulged.

"Ah!! My treasure!!"

Just then, a piercing scream interrupted the argument.

Nami finally arrived at the scene with a panting Usopp.

She looked at the scattered treasures and her expression was one of deep sorrow.

"Those bastards! How dare they dirty my Bailey!"

Nami instantly transformed into a blur, swiftly traversing the battlefield, skillfully cleaning up the mess and picking up the scattered gold coins one by one.

Luffy picked up a jewel-encrusted golden crown from a bag on the ground, casually put it on his straw hat, and asked with a grin:

"This is beautiful. Viktor, am I handsome?"

"That's awesome, Captain." Victor gave a perfunctory thumbs up.

"Hahaha! We're really too strong! This is the power of the great pirate Captain Usopp!"

Usopp finally recovered by then.

He looked at the enemies scattered on the ground, and although he couldn't stop trembling, he still proudly gave himself a thumbs up, and his nose seemed to grow even longer.

"See that?! That's my domineering presence! With just a flick of my wrist, they're all down!"

"Huh? This has nothing to do with you!"

Nami, who was frantically stuffing money into her pocket, retorted without turning her head, "Weren't you just hiding behind the rock trembling?"

"Uh..." Usopp's face stiffened, and he then forced an explanation.

"This is your chance to show off! After all, if I make a move, my 80 million men will rush out, and then the situation will be out of control!"

"Wow, that's amazing! As expected of Usopp!" Luffy's eyes lit up with admiration once again.

"Bang!"

Nami, unable to bear it any longer, punched Luffy hard on the head, knocking his crown askew.

"Luffy! Are you an idiot? You actually believe that nonsense!"

Victor ignored their antics.

He walked over to Nami, pointed to the huge Black Cat Pirates ship docked on the shore, and said with a smile:

"Nami, don't just stare at this spot on the ground."

"That ship is the Black Cat Pirates' headquarters; there might be even more good stuff hidden inside. Let's go loot it all."

Upon hearing "more good stuff," Nami's eyes instantly transformed into the shape of Belial.

"Roger that! First mate! I'm on my way!"

Nami instantly forgot her earlier fatigue, picked up the empty bag, and ran quickly towards the Black Cat Pirates' ship like a gust of wind.

By this time, the sun had fully risen above the sea, and golden sunlight bathed the earth, dispelling the bloodshed and gloom of the previous night.

Viktor smiled broadly.

"Well, the battle is over anyway. Let's go talk to Butler Merry so the villagers can rest assured."

Everyone naturally nodded in agreement.

"Hey, if I 'accidentally' say anything about Captain Usopp's heroic battles, don't expose me."

Usopp said in a low voice.

Upon hearing this, Luffy immediately burst into laughter, clutching his stomach.

"Hehehe! Usopp, you really like to brag!"

Usopp's face turned bright red, and he retorted with a stiff neck:

"Ha! I just defeated several pirates! I just... embellished it a little!"

"Ah... I'm hungry! I want to eat meat!"

At the end of the line.

Zoro deliberately lagged behind by two steps, walked to Viktor's side, and bumped Viktor's back with his shoulder.

"Feed".

Victor paused, turning his head to ask, "What?"

Zoro slung his sword over his shoulder, looked at Luffy's retreating figure, and muttered:

"Hey, next time, don't try to be a hero all by yourself. Even though you're really strong, we're a team."

Although Victor's solo charge into the enemy ranks had a positive outcome, it still displeased Zoro.

Viktor paused for a moment, a warm feeling welling up inside him.

But he quickly masked it, a mocking smile playing on his lips, and said disdainfully:

"It's all because you're too weak and have no sense of direction. By the time you get here, it'll be too late, you idiot, you green algae head."

"ha?!"

Zoro's forehead veins bulged instantly, his face darkened, and he placed his hand on the hilt of his sword.

"Fight me, you bloodthirsty bastard! I'm going to chop you up!"

……

Soon after, amidst the commotion, the group returned to the village along the road.

The village was completely silent at this moment, appearing exceptionally still.

The doors of every house were wide open, and the interiors were in a mess. It was clear that Butler Merry had organized people to urgently take everyone to higher ground while they were fighting.

The group continued upwards and soon reached the high ground where the villa was located.

Sure enough, the square in front of the villa was packed with villagers seeking refuge.

When Butler Merry, who was standing at the front, saw that the group had returned safely and were unharmed despite the bloodstains on their bodies, he breathed a sigh of relief and his legs went weak, almost causing him to kneel down.

He nervously stepped forward and asked:

"Excuse me... those pirates..."

"Hehehe! We've taken care of them all!" Luffy raised his hands and shouted happily.

Upon hearing this, Merry breathed a sigh of relief, her face beaming with the joy of surviving a close call.

Upon hearing the news of the pirates' defeat, the residents in the rear quickly became lively, and the tense atmosphere instantly dissipated.

But soon, several discordant voices arose from the crowd.

"Hey, Butler Merry, how could pirates be any good if these brats can handle them?"

"Exactly! They even went to great lengths to kick us out of our homes and bring us here to stand in this cold wind!"

"It's because I didn't lock my doors at home. What if something gets stolen?"

"We could easily handle pirates like this with just pickaxes! What a waste of effort!"

The murmurs grew louder, filled with complaints about Merry's overreaction and disdain for Luffy and his crew's strength.

"Hey!! What are you guys talking about?!"

Upon hearing these words, Usopp trembled with rage and shouted angrily:

"We risked our lives to save you! That's the Black Cat Pirates! They're terrifying!"

Luffy casually pressed down on his hat, seemingly unconcerned.

Seeing this, Merry was somewhat at a loss and hurriedly waved her hands to explain:

"Uh... everyone, please calm down... they are our benefactors, if it weren't for them..."

"Benefactor? I think it's all an act," a fat, greasy villager said disdainfully.

Viktor watched this scene indifferently, a hint of disgust flashing in his eyes.

Sure enough, no matter where you are, these foolish and arrogant humans are all the same.

In that case, the solution is quite simple.

That is... to solve it the way pirates do.

"Thump!"

Viktor suddenly sprang into action, and without a word, delivered a flying kick that landed squarely on the stomach of the fat man who had been yelling the loudest.

"Puwa!"

The fat man was kicked like a ball, flying five or six meters away before crashing heavily to the ground with a scream.

"It hurts so much! You...you want to..."

The fat man was about to curse when his voice suddenly stopped.

Because a cold, long knife was already pressed against his throat, the sharp blade even cutting through a layer of his skin.

"Gulp..." The fat man swallowed hard, his whole body stiffening with fear.

Viktor held the knife in one hand, his crimson Sharingan slowly rotating as he coldly swept his gaze over the crowd.

"Who just said they could handle this? Step forward."

Viktor's voice wasn't loud, but it carried a suffocating murderous aura.

The previously noisy crowd immediately fell silent.

The villagers looked at the boy who had been so kind just moments before, but now seemed like a demon ready to devour anyone. They were all terrified, their faces pale, and they didn't dare to breathe.

This is what a real pirate is like!

Seeing the stunned crowd, Victor snorted disdainfully and sheathed his longsword.

"A bunch of ungrateful bastards."

Seeing this, Butler Merry sighed helplessly.

He knew the villagers had gone too far, but he didn't want to escalate the situation.

He hurriedly ran to Viktor's side and bowed deeply:

"I'm very sorry! Please forgive their ignorance and offense! Mr. Victor, please don't take it to heart."

After saying that, he made a "please" gesture and said respectfully:

"Please come with me to the villa. To express my gratitude for your saving my life, Miss Koya has instructed me to prepare the most sumptuous food and wine for you."
