The surrounding pirate henchmen also let out ear-piercing laughter.

Zoro and Viktor, who were standing behind, exchanged a glance.

Just then, the ignored Mayor Budor raised his spear again and shouted, "Bucky!! Don't ignore me! Accept my challenge!!"

"Huh? You old man are really annoying..."

Before Bucky could finish speaking, a fist flashed past.

Without warning, Luffy punched the mayor on the back of the head.

The town mayor didn't even utter a sound; his eyes rolled back, and he fainted on the spot.

"Luffy?!" Nami ran over in a panic. "What are you doing?! That's the mayor!"

"Luffy is doing it for the mayor's own good."

Viktor stepped forward, glanced at the unconscious mayor, and explained calmly.

"If we really let him challenge Bucky, he'll surely die. Letting him sleep is better than losing his life."

"Did they really need to just knock me out?!" Nami exclaimed in exasperation. "This is so reckless!"

"That's how we pirates do things," Victor shrugged.

Bucky roared, and the throwing knife in his hand was instantly crushed.

"If you want to die, I'll grant your wish!! Men! Push that specially made Pakistani bomb over here! I'm going to blast them to smithereens!!"

"Yes, yes! Captain Bucky!"

The pirates frantically pushed out another cannon, its dark muzzle aimed directly at Luffy and his crew.

"Hey!! Run!!"

Nami was terrified when she saw this.
