Two o'clock in the afternoon, at the school gate.

Lin An got out of the car and stood in the square next to the school gate.

Huo Nianci got off from the other side, walked around the front of the car, and stood in front of him.

"What classes do you have this afternoon?" Huo Nianci asked.

"Advanced mathematics," Lin An said.

"Then you should study hard," Huo Nianci said. "I also have a literature class this afternoon."

"Yes, it's good," Lin An said.

Huo Nianci looked at him, disdainfully calling him a "fool."

Lin An touched his nose and gave an awkward laugh.

Huo Nianci stopped teasing him, stepped forward, grabbed his collar and pulled him down.

Lin An was forced to lower her head, and her lips lightly touched his lips.

"Meet here after school tonight," she said. "I'll wait for you."

"OK."

Huo Nianci loosened his collar, but did not completely let go of his hand.

She looked down, took out her phone from her pocket, opened WeChat, and made a video call.

Lin An's phone vibrated in his pocket.

He took it out and saw Huo Nianci's name on the screen: "Jian Dong".

Lin An was speechless: "What are you doing? We're standing face to face, why are you making a video call?"

"You answer it," Huo Nianci said.

"What are you going to do...?"

Should I answer or not?

Lin An was all too familiar with that tone.

Huo Nianci is a yandere, you know; she's capable of anything, Lin An thought to himself.

So he silently answered the video call.

Huo Nianci's face immediately appeared on the screen.

The shot was taken from below, showing Huo Nianci's pointed chin, straight nose, and lightly painted lips.

She said to the camera, "Okay, you can go now. Don't turn off the video. I want to keep watching you until we meet again."

Lin An: "Is this surveillance?"

"No, it's about observing my boyfriend's daily life so that other women don't have a chance," Huo Nianci said.

Lin An looked at the serious face on his phone screen, then at the equally serious person standing in front of him, and sighed.

"All right."

He said goodbye to Huo Nianci again, turned around, and walked towards the teaching building with his phone in hand.

Huo Nianci stood there watching his back, her phone screen constantly swaying to show him from different angles.

Chin, shoulders, the occasional passing shadows of trees and passersby.

"Slow down," Huo Nianci's voice came from the phone, "You're making me dizzy."

"If I walk faster, you'll get even more dizzy," Lin An said. "Why don't we just hang up? It's only a few steps anyway."

"If you dare hang it up, you'll be sorry!"

Lin An immediately shut up.

He went up to the third floor of the teaching building, to the classroom for advanced mathematics.

Pushing open the door, I found that quite a few people were already seated in the classroom.

The way he walked in holding his phone looked rather strange, and several classmates next to him turned to look at him.

In the back row, Jiang Fan, He Jin, and Song Haohao were already seated.

Hearing the noise, the three of them looked up at the same time.

"Hey!" Jiang Fan was the first to stand up. "Anzi! You actually came after all. We thought you were drunk and passed out in a brothel."

"Get out, get out, get out," Lin An waved his hand.

Jiang Fan glanced at Lin An and, finding him alone, immediately looked suspicious: "Where is she?"

"Who?" Lin An asked knowingly.

"Stop playing dumb," Jiang Fan patted the chair next to him, "Huo Nianci! Where did the little ice beauty go?"

Huo Nianci, who also heard the same words on the phone, frowned slightly, but quickly relaxed.

Ice Queen.

This name seems quite interesting.

It fits her personal image very well.

Lin An sat down next to Jiang Fan, placed his phone on the corner of the table, and replied, "She went to class; she has class this afternoon."

"Oh..." Jiang Fan leaned closer again, lowering his voice, "Brother, you're really something!"

"You managed to win over a woman with such a quirky temper like Huo Nianci! Tell us, how did you do it?"

He Jin chimed in, "Yeah, I'm pretty curious too."

"She usually ignores everyone at school, how did you manage to win her over?"

Song Haohao also pushed up his glasses, didn't say anything, but was obviously listening to what they were saying.

Lin An glanced at his phone screen; Huo Nianci was watching him via video.

Although you can't hear what they're saying, you can probably see Jiang Fan and the other two huddled together.

Her expression didn't change much, but Lin An knew she was listening.

He thought for a moment and said seriously, "It's very simple. First, have an online romance with her, and then let her kidnap you."

The three people: "?"

"What the hell?" Jiang Fan was stunned for a moment: "Are you talking nonsense?"

"No," Lin An said, "I'm telling the truth."

The three looked at each other, then simultaneously gave each other a "you're kidding me" expression.

"I'm telling the truth," Lin An said, shrugging. "There's nothing I can do if you don't believe me."

Song Haohao pushed up his glasses and said softly, "But... if it's Huo Nianci, it doesn't seem entirely impossible..."

"Haohao, don't let him lead you astray," Jiang Fan patted Song Haohao on the back of the head. "This guy just doesn't want to tell us anything and is trying to fool us."

Lin An smiled but didn't explain further.

He glanced down at his phone screen. Huo Nianci was looking at him, but she didn't say anything.

Just then, Liu Na came in through the classroom door.

As soon as she entered the room, she looked in Lin An's direction, just like always.

When she saw that Huo Nianci was not there, she visibly paused.

Then, she jogged over to Lin An's row of seats, glanced at Jiang Fan, and said, "Jiang Fan, could you move over there a bit? I'd like to sit next to Lin An."

Jiang Fan was stunned for a moment, and subconsciously looked at Lin An.

Lin An rolled his eyes inwardly.

He glanced at his phone screen and saw that Huo Nianci's eyes were slightly narrowed and her lips were pursed into a line, clearly about to explode.

To avoid upsetting her and for Liu Na's safety, Lin An said directly, "Don't sit next to me, it's inconvenient."

Liu Na's expression changed slightly: "What's inconvenient? Aren't there empty seats next to us?"

"I mean," Lin An said firmly, "my girlfriend doesn't really want me to sit too close to other girls."

"Besides, it's awkward for both of us to sit here, isn't it?"

Jiang Fan looked at Lin An, then at Liu Na.

My bottom was about to move uncontrollably, but I sat firmly back down in the chair.

Liu Na stood there, her face flushing red and then turning pale.

"I just wanted to sit next to you," her voice trembled slightly, "did you have to go to such lengths?"

"I'm sorry," Lin An said.

Liu Na stared at him for several seconds, her eyes reddening again.

She bit her lip and sat down two rows away.

As soon as she sat down, she slumped onto the table, her shoulders twitching again.
