Yin Leyao stepped onto the muddy ground, her shoes sinking three centimeters into the mud, making a sticky, wet sound when she pulled them out.

The others gathered in small groups, seemingly discussing how to make a safer choice.

She didn't rush to choose a side path, but instead glanced at the management group first.

Saury: "Friendly reminder, red doors aren't always dangerous, and blue doors aren't always rewarding. Squidward loves playing word games."

Stinky Octopus: "Saury, shut up! Is spoiler stuff fun?"

Jellyfish: "He's getting anxious."

Little Yellow Fish: "So the black door really is a prison?"

Stinky Octopus: "The black door is the prison, I'm not kidding you. Once you're in, you're not coming out."

Yin Leyao withdrew her gaze.

Red, blue, and black—three types of doors, thirty-two in total.

Before her was the first fork in the road, with two doors embedded in the wall, one red and one blue.

Red on the left, blue on the right.

Two more players came in, a man and a woman, and judging from their equipment, they seemed to be experienced players.

The man glanced at Yin Leyao, said nothing, and pushed open the blue door.

The door opened.

Inside was a small stone chamber with an iron box in the middle.

The man's face lit up with joy, and he strode inside.

The next second, the ground suddenly collapsed, and he fell down. A scream came from the deep pit, and then it was completely silent three seconds later.

The blue door closed slowly, as if nothing had happened.

The remaining women turned pale.

Yin Leyao glanced at the group chat.

Saury: "Oh right, I forgot to mention, there are real and fake boxes. Fake boxes are traps underneath, only real ones have rewards. How do you tell the difference? Figure it out yourself."

Jellyfish: "Saury, can you please finish your sentence at once?"

Stinky Octopus: "He did it on purpose."

Yin Leyao didn't rush to choose, but squatted down to observe the ground.

There were some tiny scratches on the muddy ground, like the marks of something being dragged, all pointing towards the red door.

She stood up and pushed open the red door.

The woman behind him whispered, "Are you out of your mind?"

Yin Leyao ignored her.

Behind the red door was a narrow passage, the walls were seeping water, and there was a faint fishy smell in the air.

She went inside, and the door closed behind her.

The passage was short, ending at a stone chamber containing an iron box.

Yin Leyao didn't rush to get closer, but instead observed her surroundings first.

There are several small holes in the corner of the stone chamber, which are almost invisible unless you look closely.

She took out the bluefin bream venom she had collected earlier from her backpack, poured a few drops onto the dagger, and then flung the dagger, pinning it to the lid of the box.

The mechanism was triggered.

More than a dozen thin needles shot out from the small hole, densely embedded in the opposite wall, their tips gleaming green.

Yin Leyao waited a few seconds to make sure there was no second mechanism before walking over and opening the box.

Inside is a blueprint.

nice one.

She put the blueprints away and returned the way she came.

The woman remained where she was, her expression complex upon seeing Yin Leyao emerge alive.

"What...what did you get?"

Yin Leyao did not answer and walked straight towards the second fork in the road.

This fork in the road has three doors, one red, one blue, and one black.

A rusty lock hung on the black door, looking rather inconspicuous.

The group chat has been refreshed again.

Little Yellow Croaker: "Has anyone gone through the black door? I'm curious what's inside."

Stinky Octopus: "Prison, what else could it be?"

Little Yellow Croaker: "What's locked up?"

Stinky Octopus: "Lock up the people who went in before."

Yin Leyao looked at the black door and took a step back.

Footsteps sounded behind me; three more players had arrived.

The leader was a man with a buzz cut, holding a modified harpoon gun, which looked quite intimidating.

He glanced at the three doors, then at Yin Leyao and the woman.

"Choose the red one."

His companion next to him paused for a moment, then said, "Boss, didn't you say red means danger—"

"We just passed the first fork in the road. The blue door was open, and someone was dead," the man with the buzz cut interrupted him. "Someone went into the red one and came out alive."

He looked at Yin Leyao: "You chose red, right?"

Yin Leyao didn't say anything, turned around and walked into the red door of the second fork in the road.

This time, behind the door was not a stone chamber, but a staircase leading downwards.

The staircase was long, and it became increasingly damp as you went down, with water droplets on the walls forming thin streams that trickled down.

At the end of the path, she saw a huge pool of water.

There was an iron cage submerged in the pool, and a person was locked inside the cage.

The man was still alive. Upon seeing her, he immediately rushed to the cage, his voice hoarse: "Save me! Please save me!"

Yin Leyao did not move.

She noticed something moving at the bottom of the pool, causing small ripples on the surface.

in the group.

Stinky Octopus: "Oh right, some of the red doors lead to 'others.' Whether you save them or not is up to you, but I won't say what will happen after you do."

Jellyfish: "You really are a dog."

Pacific saury: "Thank you for the compliment."

Yin Leyao turned and left.

Behind me came the man's desperate roar, followed by the sound of splashing water, and then, all sound ceased.

Suddenly, there was a slight tremor in the ground. Yin Leyao turned around and saw some wolves that were almost starving to death running out from some side paths.

Yin Leyao's eyes changed, and she knew it couldn't be that simple, so she immediately turned and ran.

The wolves behind were already starving and skin and bones. They would see those people as food and chase them like madmen.

They ran fast on two legs, but the muddy road didn't allow them to perform well, while it was like walking on flat ground for the wolves.

"Roar!" They scattered, trying to surround her.

Yin Leyao immediately took out the fish meat from the bluefish and threw it out.

Soon, all the wolves that had eaten the fish died in the muddy water.

Yin Leyao breathed a sigh of relief and leaned against the wall, panting.

She climbed the stairs and met the woman at the fork in the road.

When the woman saw her return alone, she instinctively took a step back.

"Let's cooperate," the woman suddenly said. "My name is Song Zhiyi. I have reconnaissance tools that can roughly sense whether there's a dead end or a way out behind a door, but I'm not good at fighting."

Yin Leyao glanced at her for two seconds, clearly having observed everything coldly and discovered her own abilities were quite good.

To what extent can you sense it?

"A vague sense of direction," Song Zhiyi said. "For example, with this red door, I sense 'downward,' but I don't know what's below."

Yin Leyao thought about the pool and the cage from earlier.

"Granted."

Song Zhiyi breathed a sigh of relief and followed behind her.

The two walked along the main path of the cave, and strange patterns began to appear on the walls, like the blood vessels of some kind of creature, pulsating slightly.

Song Zhiyi whispered, "When I reached the end of this road, I sensed a very large space with... many doors inside."

"How many?"

"I can't sense anything, but there are at least ten or more."
