When Margaret returned for the second time, the sun was already setting.

This time, she was holding a huge sea turtle in her claws. The turtle's shell was about four meters in diameter, its limbs were thick, and its head was still struggling, stretching and retracting.

"A near-rank magical beast," Ron judged.

He took out the divided concentrate from his bracelet and placed it on the stone slab in front of him. The pale red liquid swayed slightly in the bottle.

Margaret's gaze was immediately drawn to the bottles. She lowered her head, brought her nose close to the bottle openings, and took a deep breath.

A look of pure bliss on his face—that's the taste!

It smells even better than before!

Her tail tip waved happily in the air, occasionally making a crisp "snap" sound.

After two bottles, Margaret was completely limp—her whole dragon went limp.

Once she recovered, she continued drinking two bottles at a time.

Not a single bottle was left.

What a gluttonous girl!

Margaret quickly finished making the confiscated original liquid.

She licked her lips, letting out a low, satisfied gurgle, and opened her eyes wide, her bright blue eyes sparkling with an expectant look of "is there more?"

"How about that? You got so much for just one monster."

"You're not at a disadvantage, are you?"

Ron said with an honest expression.

Margaret nodded, seemingly still wanting more.

Then it spread its wings and prepared to hunt again.

Ron quickly called her to a stop:

"Don't go, don't go. I've replaced all the original solutions I brought with you."

Margaret was dazed;

What should I do? I've just experienced this wonderful feeling, and then it's gone. How am I going to get through the rest of the days?

"You still want more, don't you?"

"Why don't you elbow me?!"

Ron finally revealed his true intentions.

"Follow me, and I guarantee you'll have enough of the undiluted serum every day."

"Let's live a wonderful life together."

Margaret was clearly conflicted.

She is not yet an adult and does not want to go to the mainland too early.

She had heard from the dragon that there were bad people on the mainland who captured young dragons like them and forced them to produce metal.

There's a daily quota, and if you don't produce enough, you won't be allowed to eat. You can't even run away.

Moreover, she is an upright and kind silver dragon, and has very high requirements for choosing knights.

No matter how you look at this guy, he doesn't seem like an honest and kind person.

She stared at Ron for two seconds, then turned her head away and snorted.

It wasn't an angry hum, but the kind of hum that says, "You wish!" She rested her head on her front paws, turning her rear end towards him.

Ron walked over and knelt down in front of her. Margaret turned her head away, refusing to look at him.

"Let me finish," Ron said.

"I'm not a bad person. Do I look like a bad person to you?"

Will a bad person give you a fair deal?

"Come with me, and I won't let you waste your magic on producing metal," Ron coaxed.

"My territory has plenty of food and drink, mountains and forests, a hundred times more comfortable than this wretched island. You're just a young dragon now, you can only slowly grind your time here. Come back with me, and you'll be able to advance to adult dragon in no time."

Margaret became interested; she kept her head turned, but it was clear she was listening intently to Ron's words.

"You don't have to do anything when you come to my place. You can just lie in the sun all day and occasionally help me catch some monsters."

Seeing that Margaret was moved, Ron intensified his efforts.

Margaret, a young dragon who had never seen the wickedness of human nature, had never encountered so much sweet talk.

They were quickly captivated by Ron's grand promises.

But when it came to choosing a knight, he remained firm, only agreeing to give Ron one chance in a battle of wits.

Ron figured there wouldn't be much progress going on.

He didn't expect to succeed on his first try.

Final decision.

"Then you stay on the island for now, I'll come back every now and then."

"Let's get to know each other better first."

Ron's plan was to come more frequently and on time for the first two visits.

Then suddenly they stopped coming for a while.

It made her so anxious that her whole body was itchy.

When it appears again, I don't believe this little clumsy dragon can escape from my grasp.

Is it a form of scarcity marketing? He can do that too.

Ron didn't believe that after experiencing the speed of a luxury airplane, she could go back to adapting to her little electric scooter.

The rapid increase in strength is like taking a magic potion, making it irresistible.

Ron himself couldn't help it.

After discussing it with Margaret, we agreed to bring enough stock solution in a few days.

Ron held out his hand: "It's a deal!"

Margaret tilted her head, not understanding the gesture.

Then she stretched out her tail and gently touched Ron's.

Ron knew that this meant he had agreed.

Then he took the sea turtle back to his beach camp.

Margaret lay back down on the large rock to process what she had learned that day.

When we got back to the beach, the boat was almost completely repaired.

Lilith stood by the ship's railing and saw Ron return. She jogged over to him. Her eyes were red-rimmed, and she grabbed his sleeve.

"Brother! You're finally back."

"Eba and the others were badly injured, and you disappeared too. A giant dragon even flew out of the island."

"I was so worried about you!"

Ron patted her head: "It's okay. Good news!"

"Good news? What good news?" Lilith looked up at him, tears still welling up in her eyes.

"We'll talk about it when we get back." Ron pulled her onto the boat.

Captain Marco greeted him with a smile:

"Sir, the boat is repaired and we can leave tonight."

It would be best to set sail tomorrow morning; this area is unfamiliar to us.

Ron asked, "Can we confirm the direction?"

Marco took out the nautical chart:

"Sure, we don't know our exact location right now, but once we head east and see the coastline, things will be much easier."

Ron didn't rush to set sail that night, but ordered them to rest for another night.

They also sealed the entire ship, forbidding anyone from revealing any news about the dragon.

Ron still felt uneasy and planned to transfer all these people to work at the manor after returning to his territory.

It will be arranged when it is needed.

Even Selena can't be kept at the port anymore; let's keep her in the manor and limit her there.

It was evening, inside the cabin.

Ron didn't dare continue using the original liquid for cultivation.

He had no idea how sensitive the dragon's nose was; things would get interesting if it attracted Margaret.

So he went to bed early, cuddling Lilith.

"Brother~ what good news is it?"

"If it's inconvenient to say, then I won't ask my brother," Lilith asked obediently.

Actually, the biggest news is that a dragon flew out of the island.

However, they dared not think too high; at most, they wondered if there might be metal mines left behind by dragons.

If the dragon leaves, we'll make a fortune.

Ron looked up and met Lilith's face.

"Your brother is about to become a dragon knight!"

Ron wasn't worried about letting Lilith know the news; you can't hide it from your bedmate.

All he needs to do is become stronger. The stronger he becomes, the more loyal the people around him will be.

Moreover, after spending these days together, Ron has developed some trust in Lilith.

He had already sent people to find out his identity back in Violet City, and it was indeed as they said.

"ah?!"

Lilith was clearly shocked by the news.

"Dragon...Dragon Knight?"

"So, does that mean I can become a princess someday? Brother, you're amazing!"

"Hehe. I can only become a dragon knight later."

"Right now, all I want is to be a knight..." Ron said, getting straight to the point.

"Hey, I'm a knight too, a low-ranking knight's squire... Let me do it!!"

the next morning.

After confirming the direction, Captain Marco turned around and directed the sailors to raise the sails.

The sails were raised, billowing in the wind.

The boat slowly sailed out of the bay and headed towards the open sea.

Ron stood at the stern, watching the island grow smaller and smaller until it disappeared from sight.

The boat was moving slowly, so we had to keep an eye out for the reefs on the sea and record the course.

It took three days to finally reach the territory's port by following the coast.

The good news is that the island they were taken to by the storm was not far away.

In an unknown sea area to the northwest of the pioneering land.

It's only a day's journey as the crow flies from the port.

The ship slowly approached the port.

People on the dock spotted them and started running to send messages back.

Ron stood at the bow of the ship, looking at the familiar harbor and town. The wind blew by, carrying the scent of earth and grass, completely different from the salty smell of the sea.

After being away for nearly a month, I'm finally back.
