While everyone else was making a fortune, Ron was staying at home.

How could he be in a good mood?

He stopped playing and started dragging Margaret out to hunt her in the sea every day.

Only when he saw his bottles of the original solution being filled one by one could his depressed mood be relieved a little.

Later, Ron heard about the blessing.

He also went to great lengths, using Knight's Perseverance Potion and nobles from the Glory Empire, to smuggle a batch of mechanical beastmen corpses.

Both he and Margaret offered their prayers and were blessed.

It's just that the quantity is too small and the effect is very minor.

Ron didn't feel it very clearly, but Margaret was more sensitive to the rules of the world.

He kept saying to Ron, "I want more, I want more!"

Ron was now envious again.

He kept hoping that the major empires would suffer a great loss in the mechanical world, so that he would have a chance to be seated at the table and have a taste of the spoils.

But no matter how much Ron prayed, the legions of the major empires continued their triumphant march on the battlefield. It's said that even a beast king was severely wounded.

However, while the Allied forces did not encounter any problems on the battlefield, trouble struck their homeland.

Perhaps seeing such a big commotion from humans made others envious.

The orcs, in alliance with the Frostlands, various races of the Southern Territory, and the Naga Kingdom of the sea, launched a simultaneous attack on several major human powers.

Many experts and legions headed straight for the homelands of these countries.

They demanded that they also enter the mechanical world to share the profits, or else war would break out.

This group of people is also cunning; they only keep an eye on the four major powers and don't touch any other human kingdoms.

These kingdoms and duchies were already dissatisfied with these major powers leaving them behind.

After all, in their eyes, most of our principalities are your little brothers.

Are they not even giving you a sip of soup now that you're a lackey?

Then don't expect me to do anything for you. Just go through the motions.

So, amidst the commotion, the orc sea creatures and the various human kingdoms reached a tacit agreement.

I won't get involved. You guys just keep your eyes on those disloyal gang leaders and beat them up!

The major empires, of course, would not agree to the orcs' demands.

Thus, they were caught in a two-front war.

The major powers originally had an advantage over the orcs' high-end combat forces.

That is, the middle and lower-level forces are not as good as them.

However, the Magic Empire and its allies each sent at least one demigod to the dimensional battlefield.

The Magic Empire dispatched a magical bronze dragon and a demigod-level mage.

The Glorious Empire also dispatched two demigods, the Bronze Dragon and his Bloodline Dragon Knight.

The other two also sent out a demigod.

The demigods who remain in this world now pose no threat to the orcs.

Relying on their superior military strength, the major empires were dealt a truly severe blow in a short period of time.

It was at this time that Ron received a message from the Magic Empire.

Ron looked at the shimmering crystal ball and sneered:

"You've suddenly remembered your father?"

The light inside the sphere began to spin faster, then a sound came from inside, followed by a visual.

It's Orlando.

But unlike last time, this time his voice lacked its composure, replaced by weariness, anxiety, and a hint of... something Ron couldn't quite place.

"My lord, how have you been?"

"Mr. Orlando, it's been a long time." Ron leaned back in his chair.

"Your great empires have made quite a stir this time."

Orlando laughed: "The Grand Duke is well-informed."

"What good is it if the information isn't accurate or not? You're still just sitting around doing nothing every day, aren't you?" Ron paused.

"Mr. Orlando, just say what you have to say."

Orlando remained silent for two breaths.

"Your Excellency, the Federation hopes that the Silver Duchy can help us share some of the pressure from the northern orcs. As long as Your Excellency agrees, the reward is negotiable and will definitely satisfy you."

Ron raised an eyebrow, inwardly thinking:

"At a time like this, you're trying to fob me off with this little bit of stuff and send me off to fight the orcs."

"Are they fucking treating me like a beggar?"

Ron refused outright, his tone leaving no room for argument:

"Mr. Orlando, I appreciate the Empire's kindness, but my son has recently fallen ill, and I simply cannot leave."

You understand? As parents, it's heartbreaking to see your child suffer...

Orlando listened to Ron's nonsense without showing the slightest impatience.

It wasn't until Ron had been talking for over ten minutes, from his son's illness to his daughter's education, from his daughter's education to the affairs of the duchy, and then back to his son's illness, that she finally spoke.

"Your Majesty, the orcs are coming on strong this time. This is not just a war for the Empire alone. If we cannot stop them, the entire continent will suffer."

In this way, the reward will be whatever you ask for, Your Excellency. I also hope that Your Excellency will consider our past relationship and do the Empire a favor.

The Empire will never forget any friend!

Orlando tried to play the emotional card.

But he clearly chose the wrong target.

Ron was completely unmoved by his moral blackmail; didn't he know Ron never remembered favors?!

They're all listed in my special skills.

Seeing that Ron still wouldn't budge, Orlando remained silent for a few moments before finally saying the words Ron had been waiting for.

"My lord, I think I know what you need. In this way, the Empire can agree to let the Silver Duchy join the war in the mechanical world..."

Before he could finish speaking, Ron's expression changed:

"Haha, the Silver Duchy and the Magic Empire are best friends. Now that the Empire needs my help, Ron, I'll definitely be the first to come out and lend a hand."

Orlando, disregarding Ron's shamelessness, quickly added:

"Your Highness, the Empire also has conditions. The Silver Duchy must be under the Magic Empire's combat order."

"No problem, no problem!" Ron readily agreed.

"Furthermore, the Silver Duchy only has the right to obtain spoils of war."

The Silver Duchy is not allowed to participate in the partitioning of that world after its subsequent occupation.

Ron didn't expect that, but he did add one more requirement of his own.

That means he should have independent command authority and be able to cooperate with the coalition forces in combat, but ultimately command authority should still be in his hands.

Orlando expressed his understanding and agreed.

Then both parties reached a pleasant consensus.

The Silver Principality is about to officially participate in the war against the Mechanical World.
