Chapter 151 Elf Manor
Margaret, seeing the profits she could occasionally witness firsthand, concluded that it was a good project.
This led to difficulties in the subsequent project's cash flow.
She even personally went to the sea to hunt monsters and obtain their crystal cores to "replenish her stockpile."
Ron doesn't even need to urge us anymore.
But this is all for later.
Ron has only just received his first batch of crystal cores from Margaret.
Ron was in a great mood as he left the small garden, and his steps became lighter.
The servants in the corridor breathed a sigh of relief when they saw the smile on his face; when the Grand Duke was in a good mood, everyone's life would be easier.
He decided to visit the Elf Manor.
That is one of the legacies left by the Marquis of Mammon, covering an area of about 100 acres, with gardens, ponds, groves, and a three-story main building.
Fortunately, he left a lot of room for maneuver; otherwise, it would have been difficult to manage Ron's three thousand elven insects.
As you enter the Elf Manor, a fresh scent of grass and trees wafts over you, mixed with the aroma of earth and a faint fragrance of flowers.
Sunlight streamed through the treetops, casting dappled shadows on the ground.
In this garden-style manor, the insect sprites can roam freely, and Ron can find one every few steps.
Several tiny insects were hopping around in the grass not far away, their wings making a buzzing sound as they flapped.
On the edge of a small pond in the distance, a little blue sprite is squatting on the water's surface, admiring its reflection, the water droplets on its wings sparkling in the sunlight.
As Ron approached, some of the more outgoing animals would fly over and circle around him.
She rubbed her little head against his fingers.
Ron crouched down, held out his hand, and let a timid little elf jump onto his palm. He gently patted its little head, and it flew away contentedly.
Each one needs to be taken care of, otherwise the neglected little ones might hide and cry.
And so it went, one after another, until Ron felt like he'd fallen into a fairy cave, unable to move an inch.
The further you go in, the more little elves surround you.
"Chirp chirp"
macabaka
Kiss kiss
Uka Uka
Gugu ga ga
......
All he could hear was the chattering of little elves; Ron felt like his head was about to explode.
He felt as if a hundred little people were speaking in his ear at the same time, each calling his name and saying, "Look at me, look at me."
Ron rubbed his temples, took a deep breath, and tried to keep smiling.
Fortunately, Little Sword and her minions came to the rescue. She walked out of the woods with her hands on her hips, followed by seven or eight little elves.
They were all arrogant and haughty, as if they were inspecting their own territory.
Little Sword's inherent social aura made most of the little elves unwilling to play with her.
She would lecture them at the drop of a hat, saying things like "You'll be with me from now on" or "I'll protect you," which terrified those quiet and well-behaved little sprites.
So most of them said goodbye to Ron and then flew away in different directions.
Only Bella and Big White remained, sitting on Ron's shoulders, one on each side.
Seeing the way Little Sword looked so disliked, Ron knew that she had been spreading her twisted theories in front of these little elves quite a bit.
"Boss Ron, I've recently finalized our gang's rituals. Come and take a look."
He then pulled Ron to go see it.
Ron didn't refuse; he just wanted to see what tricks she could come up with.
He followed Xiao Jian into the main building, through the corridor, and into a side hall.
Ron paused for a moment as the door opened.
He was truly amazed by Xiao Jian's ingenious idea.
Several elves who followed Xiao Jian were kneeling in a row, facing a human-shaped doll, which was probably modeled after Ron.
Xiao Jian stood to one side, holding a bamboo stick, her expression solemn, like a priest about to preside over an important ceremony. She cleared her throat and said in a clear voice:
"Love your brothers, love gold?"
The little elves kneeling on the ground answered in unison, their voices childish yet unified:
"I love my brothers!!!"
