Jiang Luo put down her spoon and glanced at the envelope.

Where is the messenger?

"He dirtied the library carpet." Alice hugged the book in her arms tighter, a strange smile curving her lips. "Alice thought he was being unruly, so she folded him into 256 pieces and used them as bookmarks on the third page."

Jiang Luo nodded in satisfaction.

The staff at this castle are all incredibly easy to manage.

(≖ᴗ≖)✧

Stella stood up, used scissors to pick up the letter, and handed it to Jiang Luo.

"Master, be careful, there's a disgusting smell coming from up here."

Jiang Luo opened the envelope and took out the invitation inside.

[To the new lord of Red Moon Castle:]

[Having heard that the Red Moon Territory has changed hands, you are cordially invited to attend this quarterly Lord's Meeting in the city center tomorrow at midnight.]

[The resource allocation for each instance will be redistributed at that time. If you are absent, it will be assumed that Red Moon Castle has relinquished its territorial autonomy, and the City Center Joint Guild will take over all your properties.]

[Signature: Lord of the Death Playground]

Jiang Luo threw the invitation on the table, his mouth splitting into two wide grins, revealing sharp, white shark teeth.

Lords' Meeting?

Isn't this just a bunch of local bullies trying to find out about the newcomer and then divide up their territory?

She had seen this Death Playground on the map before; it was one of the largest S-rank dungeons in the city center.

It seems that fat Zhou Wei has been paying tribute to these powerful forces quite a bit.

Now that Zhou Wei is dead, the mental hospital's funding has stopped, and they can't sit still anymore.

Those large dungeons in the city center can harvest tens of thousands of players every day. If you can take over all those dungeons, you can sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labor.

"Master, do you want me to cut that amusement park into pieces?" Stella licked her lips, and the scissors made a piercing sound as they opened and closed.

"No need." Jiang Luo swallowed the rest of the strawberry cake in one bite, her red eyes filled with greed. "They're sincerely delivering sales to our doorstep, how can we refuse?"

She turned to look at Jiang Xiaobai, who was still gnawing on the back of the chair.

"Stop chewing on wood." Jiang Luo walked over and ruffled Jiang Xiaobai's messy hair. "Tomorrow, your sister will take you to a buffet downtown, all you can eat."

"All you can eat?" Jiang Xiaobai looked up, his eyes gleaming with greed. "Can I eat those lords too?"

Jiang Luo stroked his head, her smile innocent yet chilling.

"Of course you can. If they don't behave, the entire city center will be yours to eat."

The huge silver scissors in Stella's hand made a grating scraping sound.

She knelt on one knee at Jiang Luo's feet, her purple eyes filled with a morbid fanaticism.

"Master is going to a banquet in the city center, how can he not take Stella with him?" Stella looked up, her cheeks flushed an unnatural red. "Those filthy, inferior creatures are not worthy to look directly at Master's face. Please allow Stella to come along and gouge out all their eyeballs for Master to play with as glass marbles."

Jiang Luo bit the strawberry candy in her mouth and slammed the teacup in her hand onto the wooden table.

( ̄ェ ̄;)

Should I take you there?

You, an A-rank weirdo, ran into the Lords' Meeting in the city center.

There are at least S-level monsters in there!

"You stay." Jiang Luo held up a slender white index finger and waved it twice in front of Stella. "The Lord's Council has a rule that there are a limited number of accompanying persons. I'll take Little White with me."

"But Master..." Stella bit her lower lip, her eyes quickly filling with tears.

"No buts." Jiang Luo interrupted her, retracting his index finger. "Red Moon Castle is now a target for trouble. That bald fat man just died, and although Aunt Yunyi is there to keep things under control at the mental hospital, it's hard to guarantee that spies from other forces won't take advantage of the situation. You and Alice stay here to guard the house. Anyone who dares to step into the territory will be turned into fertilizer."

Upon hearing that she could kill, the resentment in Stella's eyes immediately vanished.

"Yes, Master." Stella stood up, lifting the hem of her maid's skirt with both hands to give an impeccable ladylike curtsy. "As long as Stella breathes, not even a fly will be able to get into Red Moon Castle."

Jiang Luo patted the sugar residue off her hands.

There are two A-level yandere maids at home, and an S-level overprotective godmother next door.

With this formidable trio, even if some malicious individual tries to raid our base, they'll be skinned alive.

As for Jiang Xiaobai...

Jiang Luo looked at the boy who was still gnawing on the corner of the solid wood table.

This kid is an S-class glutton; as long as he has enough energy, his stomach is a bottomless pit.

Taking him to a meeting is like bringing a mobile strategic nuclear weapon.

If a fight really breaks out, just close the door and release Xiaobai, then eat all those local bullies like they're at a buffet.

The crimson moon disappeared, and black mist swirled outside the ancient castle.

The dry branches creaked and groaned in the cold wind.

Jiang Luo changed into a brand new Gothic black and red Lolita dress and wore a pair of shiny leather shoes.

She took Jiang Xiaobai's hand and walked out of the castle gate, stepping on the fallen leaves.

Jiang Xiaobai was wearing tattered overalls, holding half a bloody, bizarre thigh bone in his hands, gnawing on it until his face was covered in crumbs.

"Big sister, where should we go for a buffet?" Jiang Xiaobai swallowed a piece of bone, her bright green eyes darting around.

"Stay close to me and don't wander off." Jiang Luo peeled a strawberry lollipop and popped it into his mouth.

A clear, crisp bell sound came from ahead in the thick fog.

Ding-dong.

Ding-dong.

A tall, slender figure emerged from the mist.

It was a man dressed as a comical clown.

His face was covered in thick, pale paint, and his mouth was painted with an exaggerated smile that stretched to his ears in scarlet paint.

He was tossing three blood-stained bowling balls in his hand and wearing a pair of pointed leather shoes.

"Oh my, look what I've found!" The clown stopped, bent down, and brought his face, covered in paint, close to Jiang Luo's eyes. "Two lost kittens. This is adults' territory. If little kids run out here at night instead of sleeping, they'll be eaten by the big bad wolf!"

Jiang Luo took half a step back and raised her small hand to fan her nose.

(O_O)?

Who is this guy? He smells like he's been fermenting in a sewer for ten years.

The system panel pops up automatically on the retina.

[Character: Joker]

[Rank: S-level Mysterious]

[Identity: Lord of the Death Playground]

[Characteristics: A manic, histrionic personality; enjoys dismembering prey using cruel magic tricks; laughter can cause mental pollution; extremely strong defenses.]

Jiang Luo licked the sugar stains from the corner of his mouth.

So this is the Death Amusement Park lord who sent out the invitations.

With S-rank strength, no wonder he dared to come so arrogantly to pick people up.

This isn't a welcome reception; it's clearly a show of force.
