When that thing squeezed out of the door, its shoulder scraped off a piece of the door frame lining.

He's about four meters tall, with his back hunched over; if he stood up straight, he'd probably hit the second-floor balcony.

His arms were ridiculously long, with his knuckles hanging down to below his knees.

The skin was covered with numerous stitches, and the area on the chest was clearly pieced together, the colors of which didn't match the rest of the body.

Deadpool crossed the two knives in front of his chest and took a half step back.

"Godfather, I seriously suspect that their surgeons built the Lego set according to the instructions. And they even built it wrong, with two extra pieces."

Stephen Chow ignored his trash talk and fixed his gaze on the thing's neck.

A black metal ring is fitted around the cervical spine, with a red light on the edge flashing once per second.

The skin and flesh below the ring had turned white from being soaked in water and had long since rotted into a ring.

Muller, gripping the railing and leaning out from the second-floor terrace, shouted hysterically, "Do it! Tear them apart!"

The red light around the back of the neck flashed three times.

On the fourth thrust, that thing arched its back and shot out.

Deadpool jumped half a meter high on the spot.

"Godfather! It's started! I can see it! It starts up exactly like our old washing machine!"

The test subject slapped across the ground, the resulting gust of wind even stirring up pebbles.

Stephen Chow stepped aside. "See its left arm? Was the joint sewn or stitched?"

"It's sewn! And the stitching is like cross-stitch!" Deadpool tilted his head, glancing at it arrogantly. "My grandma knits sweaters neater than this!"

"Okay. Go scratch its left rib."

"Why me?"

"Because you can't die."

"I protest! This is workplace discrimination and bullying based on physiological characteristics!"

Despite shouting that he was innocent, he had already dashed away.

The two knives were used alternately to strike the seam on the side of the third experimental subject.

But the test subject felt no pain. He grabbed Deadpool's mask, slammed it to the ground a few times like a sack of potatoes, and then threw it far away.

"Clang!"

The unlucky intern crashed through two roller shutter doors in succession, followed by a series of sounds of pots and pans smashing on the floor.

Less than half a second later, cheers erupted from the hole: "Wow! I found the company cafeteria! They even have pre-mixed potato salad here!"

Old Zhou fell silent for a moment, suspecting that this guy was taking advantage of his immortality to shirk his duties.

Back when this kid was fighting me at Xavier's School, every strike was aimed at vital points, and the fight was incredibly intense and passionate.

Today was the practical assessment, and how did I end up flying into the cafeteria with just one slap?

Without having time to pay attention to his slacking-off little brother, Zhou Xingxing seized the opportunity, his waist and hips moving in unison, and his Overlord Spear shot out close to the ground!

The tip of the gun pierced straight into the back of the test subject's knee.

With both hands gripping the gun barrel, Stephen Chow shouted and pressed his wrists down.

"Click!"

The test subject staggered and half-knelt on the ground, a series of gurgling sounds coming from his throat, and turned around to stare straight at Lao Zhou.

With one hand supporting him on the ground, he forcefully pushed off with his right leg to pull it away from the spear tip, and his whole body lunged back.

Stephen Chow could only parry with his gun.

Good heavens, the force of that blow startled Old Zhou.

He was knocked backward, and the sole of his boot plowed two white marks into the ground.

Subject Three gave him no chance to breathe, and his right claw followed up with a grab.

As Zhou Xingxing shifted his body, his five fingers brushed past his ear, and the Overlord Spear swept across his ribs.

The test subject's entire upper body was pried askew.

Several ribs moved under the skin, changing position with the pressure like living things, pushing the gun tip out little by little.

"How come its ribs are still alive?" Deadpool emerged from the hole in the shutter, a lettuce leaf hanging from his forehead and a half-eaten bowl of potato salad in his hand.

Stephen Chow remained silent, drew his gun, withdrew it, and shook off the blood.

The test subject swayed twice and then approached again.

With quick thinking, Lao Zhou slipped and slid along the ground, simultaneously thrusting the tip of his gun upwards, striking a patch of an off-color color under its armpit.

The fabric-like material was torn open, and a section of metal tubing slid out of the opening.

"Godfather, look! Its internal organs are connected to natural gas!"

"Shut up! Attack the left side!"

"Captain America likes the left side, and you like it too?" The incessantly chattering Deadpool dropped his potato salad, grabbed his knife, and charged forward to slash wildly.

Immediately afterwards, the other person was knocked away again, and Lao Zhou took advantage of the two-second gap to get behind it.

The Overlord Spear's shaft pressed against its knee, and the right foot kicked the middle of the shaft.

The hardwood bent into an arc under the force, and the test subject's knees were forced forward, causing the four-meter-tall body to kneel down again.

It's now!

Zhou Xingxing drew his gun and twisted his wrist, the tip of the gun going straight up along his spine, aiming directly at the seam where the black ring was attached to the back of his neck!

"clang!"

The black ring didn't break, but the gun did.

The red-tasseled spearhead was knocked away, and Zhou Xingxing stared speechlessly at the remaining half of the spear shaft in his hand.

Deadpool, laughing as he pried himself off the wall, exclaimed, "Your gun's not very sturdy!"

As soon as the test subject turned around, Stephen Chow smashed the gun barrel into its eye socket, and in the instant the subject turned its head, he was already close to its chest.

He reached behind his waist and drew his butcher knife.

The first cut was made horizontally through the left armpit, severing the metal conduit in two, and white vapor shot out a meter high.

The second incision went along the lower edge of the chest, and the sutures burst open all the way, just like opening a fully packed suitcase.

The third cut slit open his lower back, and blood sprayed all over Stephen Chow.

"Bang! Thud!"

The test subject collapsed to the ground, convulsing uncontrollably.

Stephen Chow walked over and stepped on the back of its head, then pried the blade into the seam of the black ring.

The black ring broke in two and slid to the ground, and the red light went out.

Immediately afterwards, the experimental subject changed from four meters to three meters, and from three meters to two meters.

The pieced-on meat quickly dried up, and the tissues that didn't belong to it lost their support, shrinking into layers of grayish-black meat in the blink of an eye.

Soon, a very thin young man, just over 1.7 meters tall, with his ribs protruding from his skin, was lying on the ground.

The hair was a layer of prickly stubble.

Stephen Chow squatted down and felt his carotid artery; the person was gone.

He stared at the excessively young face and suddenly felt that it looked somewhat familiar.

Where have I seen this before?

He reached out and pressed the man's left ear forward, revealing a string of tattoos behind it.

B-2117

He remembered.

The underground basement a few months ago, which was destroyed by a landslide.

In that human experimentation site where the incinerator had already been started, he once found a stack of registration forms in the filing cabinet.

There were forty-seven pages in total, and he only managed to rescue four of them.

The file that follows has a number called B-2117.

Deadpool, noticing Stephen Chow's grim expression, curiously leaned closer and asked, "You know him?"

"Yes, I've seen the files, but I've never seen the person."

"So what do we do now? Should we collect his body?"

"Wait a minute, take all the evidence here first, then we'll talk."

Zhou Xingxing turned to look at the second-floor terrace, but Muller was no longer there.

"You go upstairs to find someone, I'll go explore underground."

"Why were you searching through files in the basement while I went to arrest someone?"

"Because you run fast."

"I accept that reason, but Godfather, I have a question."

"explain."

"Wouldn't this be considered a break-in robbery? I used to get paid for this kind of work."

"You are currently undergoing a practical assessment, and all actions taken during this assessment period will be considered work experience."

"Is there overtime pay?"

"Yes, five dollars an hour."

"You're outrageously charging me that salary! I used to earn at least 300 an hour for freelance work!"

"That was illegal income, this is legal income; they're different in nature!"
