Chapter 41 The Perfect Dao Foundation of Heavenly Origin
Chapter 41 The Perfect Dao Foundation of Heavenly Origin
He exhaled a long breath, and white steam shot out like a sword beam, striking the wall and producing a muffled thud, leaving a tiny hole in the wall.
The ability to exhale and form a sword is just like the sword immortal technique recorded in ancient mythological novels. Although Chu Ming was extremely strong, his control over his body was still somewhat lacking. It wasn't until he broke through the void that he finally managed to recreate this move.
In a sense, this means that once you reach a certain level, supernatural powers will arise spontaneously, and you won't need to cultivate at all.
Birds are born to fly without training, fish are born to swim without training, and supernatural powers will appear as long as one reaches a certain level, without the need for training.
With that exhale, Chu Ming's figure returned to its original state.
At this moment, his skin was crystal clear and incredibly delicate, like the most perfect white jade. There wasn't a single pore visible on his body, and his entire body exuded a faint milky fragrance, just like that of a baby.
In a sense, Chu Ming's current physique is already a congenital physique. As the saying goes, "by focusing one's energy and achieving gentleness, one can enter the body of an infant." An infant's body is the purest and closest to the innate state.
Chu Ming's body was as pure as a baby's.
And all of this is because of that one golden source point.
Chu Ming couldn't quite understand what exactly the Golden Origin Point was.
As for the so-called destiny mission, with Chu Ming's current wisdom, he has guessed a little bit about it.
In this world, the martial arts fanatic's original wish was simply to be the best in the world, and that was all. After Chu Ming arrived, he fulfilled the martial arts fanatic's wish, and thus the destiny mission was completed.
Chu Ming suspected that the shackle-like thing he had sensed earlier might be what was called destiny.
However, by the time Chu Ming sensed it, the shackles were already quite fragile for him at that time.
All Chu Ming knows now is that Golden Source Points are a good thing, a very good thing, far superior to ordinary Source Points, and the more the better.
However, the first instance, either because the world was incomplete or because I entered as a player, did not have any so-called destiny quest.
With these thoughts in mind, Chu Ming turned his gaze to the system log.
"The cultivation technique is being refreshed. Please select one from the following techniques:"
The Perfect Dao Foundation Theory of Heavenly Origin (Forced Refresh This Time)
The Six Desires and the Division of Demons
Chaos Cultivation Technique
The Great Five Elements Yin Yang Yuan Magnetic Extinction Divine Blade
Star change
'
This was the ultimate reward that appeared after he completed the martial arts competition.
He didn't have time to deal with it at the time, and then he got itchy and tried the Golden Source Points again. Only now does he have time to deal with this reward.
Chu Ming focused his attention on this entry in the journal, and a cluster of information immediately appeared in his mind: "The Perfect Dao Foundation Treatise of Tianyuan, a basic textbook compiled by the strongest in the Tianyuan Realm during the Tianyuan Era, which discusses one of the paths to a perfect Dao foundation."
"The Six Desires Dividing into Demons Chapter is an unparalleled martial art created by the White Emperor during his advancement towards the Fruition Realm."
"The Chaos Cultivation Technique is a method of cultivating truth by borrowing from the falsehood, created by the Dao Venerable in the First Evolutionary Era before he attained the Dao.
"The Great Five Elements Yin Yang Yuan Magnetism Extinction Divine Blade, Ninth Evolution Era, a mythical martial art created by one of the creators of Gensokyo before attaining enlightenment."
"Stellar Transformation, the supreme divine skill created from the ancient observation of the evolution of chaos in the earliest era."
"???"
Seeing these increasingly impressive descriptions, even Chu Ming, with his unwavering composure, couldn't help but feel a slight ripple of emotion.
Although Chu Ming didn't know what the Fruit Path was, he figured it wouldn't be anything simple.
Moreover, apart from the first theory on the perfect foundation of the Heavenly Origin Dao, Chu Ming had heard about the other things to varying degrees.
According to the system's description, these things seem to be even more powerful than what I already know.
What puzzled Chu Ming the most was why the system would generate these things.
According to Chu Ming's thinking, given the power level of this world, it would be normal to use skills like the Heaven-Turning Seal or the Stepping the Dipper. However, the things that appeared on the system panel were more and more ruthless.
Logically, one should gradually improve their skills by playing techniques step by step, like in a game of Dou Dizhu (a card game), where you start with small cards. You don't start with a royal flush.
As for these five items, Chu Ming could only say that he wanted them all.
However, the reality is that he can only choose one.
After thinking for three seconds, Chu Ming chose the Tianyuan Perfect Dao Foundation Theory. Logically speaking, this one had the lowest prestige, but in Chu Ming's opinion, since he couldn't tell which one was the best anyway, he might as well choose the most unique one.
After all, among these five cultivation methods, only the Tianyuan Perfect Dao Foundation Treatise has a special mark.
"The discourse on the perfect Dao foundation of Tianyuan".
The system log refreshed, and then a flood of information rushed into Chu Ming's mind.
For Chu Ming at this moment, the information was not much, and he digested it in just over ten seconds.
This so-called perfect Dao foundation theory of the Heavenly Origin first talks about the realm of cultivation.
There are countless systems, but they are generally divided into four realms: mortal, path, fruition, and tribulation. After the tribulation is over, one transcends.
In the theory of the Heavenly Origin Dao Foundation, the mortal realm is divided into three heavens, the Dao realm is divided into three heavens, and the fruit realm also has three heavens. As for the tribulation realm, it is only mentioned briefly.
Then comes the preface, which explains the reasons for the book's creation.
The story is roughly about the strongest being in Tianyuan, the Tianyuan Emperor, a powerful being in the Tribulation Realm. One day, on a whim, he went to Zixiao Palace to play chess with the Dao Venerable who had already transcended. The two powerful beings chatted while playing chess and suddenly talked about the perfect Dao Foundation. Yan Yongheng said that the realm was too difficult and asked if the difficulty could be reduced.
Then the two great minds discussed it and it seemed they really had a solution, which led to the creation of this book.
The book realistically describes the original path: the mortal realm has three stages and three heavens. The first stage is for body cultivation, the second stage is for spirit cultivation, and the third stage is for qi cultivation. Each stage has an extreme realm. Whether one succeeds or not, the circumstances are completely different, and the combat power differs by tens of millions of times.
The third stage involves entering the Dao from the mortal realm, forging the Dao seed, which is the so-called Dao foundation.
The Dao Foundation is also divided into several levels, with the strongest being the Eternal Dao Seed, which is related to the final Tribulation Realm.
However, achieving eternity is extremely difficult. Although the original path was already perfect, for the Eternal Dao Seed, that final hurdle is still equivalent to a mortal becoming a god in one step, and it is rare to find one or two such individuals in an entire epoch.
At this point, the book introduces a new path of cultivation, broadening the foundation of the mortal realm so that cultivators have a deeper foundation before forging their Dao foundation.
This path requires pushing all five aspects—essence, energy, spirit, mind, and momentum—to their absolute limits at the first stage to be considered the pinnacle of the first stage.
According to the book, one must cultivate one's essence to the point of breaking through the void and achieving pure Yang in blood and qi; one must cultivate one's qi to the point of having one primordial spirit and a hundred orifices; one must cultivate one's spirit to the point of sitting in oblivion and achieving pure Yang in intention; one must cultivate one's heart to the point of utmost sincerity and being able to foresee the future; and one must cultivate one's power to the point of achieving perfect unity with the ultimate Dao, becoming an external sage and an internal king.
Once the five paths are perfected and the eight divine treasures are simultaneously opened, one reaches the second stage. In the second stage, one must first cultivate all eight divine treasures to the ninth level, and then comprehend the Dao to open the Great Luo Divine Treasure, thereby cultivating the divine treasures to the highest tenth level. This is the ultimate realm of the second stage.
Afterwards, the five paths converge into one, igniting the pure Yang life fire, achieving internal and external harmony, grasping one's own destiny, and then comprehending the power of the universe and the power of rebirth, unifying the three elements and reaching the ultimate realm of the third order.
The first stage is called Foundation Building, meaning to build a solid foundation; the second stage is called Transcendence, meaning to transcend the ordinary and become a saint; the third stage is called Longevity, meaning to have a long lifespan, to live as long as heaven and earth, and to live until the end of the universe.
Each of these three stages represents a sublimation. Reaching the third stage means becoming an immortal being, who, if not subjected to calamity, will perish along with the universe.
According to the book, practicing this path can increase one's chance of eternal life.
