I opened a clinic in the Abyss World

Chapter 92 The Berserker Bear Mercenary Group

The Black Guard is the core armed force of the Judson family and the violent machine that sustains their potion supply chain.

There are two types of Black Guards. One type is gradually cultivated by Judson with the resources provided. Similar to the Fox Guards, they have extremely high loyalty and their numbers are around three hundred.

Another type is the Black Guardians, who are adventurers recruited by the Judson family in recent years. They are offered generous sums of money and then controlled with magic potions. Their numbers are close to two hundred.

The Black Demon Guard, composed of five hundred orcs of average strength (level three or four), was powerful enough to wipe out any family in the Abyss.

The Fox Guards ventured deep into the Black Demon Guards' lair and made an accurate assessment of the Black Demon Guards' numbers, which was crucial for their subsequent plans.

"The Black Guards trained by the Judson family are extremely loyal, and there is no possibility of them being turned against us. We can only start with the two hundred adventurers they have controlled through various means. If we can turn one hundred of them against us, our chances of winning will increase significantly," Roland said solemnly.

Diana continued, "As far as I know, among the Black Guard adventurers controlled by the Judson family with potions, there are two relatively strong teams, each with fifty or sixty members. One team is led by the brown bear orc Gabriel, surrounded by about sixty people. The other team is led by Wolverine, with about fifty members."

Wolverine received many benefits from Carol, so he was quite loyal to her, but he died at Charlotte's hands, and a large portion of his Dark Guards defected to Gabriel.

Before joining the Black Guard, Gabriel was already a well-known wilderness hunter and the leader of the Furious Bear Mercenary Group. It is said that after returning from a mission, the entire mercenary group was ambushed, which led to his addiction to potions and his forced joining the Black Guard.

The core members now gathered around Gabriel are the original members of the Berserker Bear Mercenary Group, and they obey only Gabriel.

Elton didn't trust Gabriel and often assigned him dangerous characters, seemingly using them as cannon fodder.

"So, our breakthrough point could be this Gabriel? If we can get him to turn against us, we can directly win over sixty or seventy Black Guards," Charlotte said thoughtfully.

Roland shook his head slightly and said, "That's true. I've met Gabriel before. He's much stronger than Wolverine and could break through to level five at any time. But he's ambitious and meticulous. If we want him to sincerely join us in fighting the Jadson family, the potion aversion potion alone probably won't be enough."

Charlotte glanced at Roland. It seemed that the Tru family had long harbored ambitions towards the Judson family, and the intelligence about the Harriman family was enough to show that the harmonious relationship between these four families was no longer one of mutual respect and non-interference.

"Conditions are negotiable. As long as we can eradicate the Judson family, this cancer, our Harriman family doesn't mind a new family taking his place. But the potion must be abolished," Diana stated her bottom line.

Roland nodded slightly and said, "The Duru family can also accept this outcome."

Charlotte was somewhat surprised, not expecting these two families to be so generous as to allow Gabriel to become one of the new four great families.

Gabriel would probably find it hard to refuse this condition.

But upon further reflection, he understood the reason.

Even if Gabriel builds a new force, he will never be able to absorb all the resources that the Judson family originally possessed.

The Judson family had been operating for centuries, forming an impenetrable fortress, like a menacing tiger, striking fear into the hearts of the Harriman and Trudeau families.

But if Gabriel were to establish a new family power, its foundation would be unstable and its strength limited. How to manage it in the future would be up to the two families.

After Roland and Diana reached an agreement, they began to discuss the details of turning Gabriel against them, including the various conditions that both sides agreed to, as well as a test of Gabriel's sincerity.

"The Judson family uses potions to control the Dark Guardians. Our first task is to sever this chain so that Gabriel and his men can sincerely join forces with us to overthrow the Judson family," Roland said, looking at Charlotte.

"I can make potion aversion potions anytime, but I think we should first let them know how valuable they are. Initially, we should only give them to Gabriel and a few of his core members. The other Dark Guards should be given the potions after the Judson family is overthrown. This will ensure their loyalty and motivation," Charlotte suggested.

Diana and Roland nodded thoughtfully; it was indeed a good suggestion.

Charlotte continued, "I'll have my partner create a buzz in Kalva, letting the people of the Abyss know about the existence and exorbitant price of the Potions Aversion Potion, attracting the attention of the Judson family, and giving hope to those in the Black Guard who want to break free from Potions' control. Then we can use the Potions Aversion Potion as payment to get them to turn against us; that might be more effective."

Roland largely agreed with Charlotte's plan, but couldn't help asking in surprise, "You have a partner?"

He came today not only to discuss joining forces against the Judson family, but also to discuss with Charlotte and Diana whether the Drew family could be involved in the sale of the potion aversion potion.

Compared to the Harriman family, the Tru family had closer ties with the outside world and had channels in Kalva and several nearby major cities, so he believed he had some bargaining power.

It was initially thought that Charlotte, backed by the Harriman family, had already reached an agreement with Diana in exchange for protection.

Now it seems that this is not the case.

"Yes, I've handed over the distribution rights for the Potion Aversion Agent to an elder, entrusting him with full responsibility for its promotion and sales." Charlotte nodded, interrupting Roland's thoughts. "However, I'll have him cooperate with our operation, starting by building momentum in Calva."

Roland glanced at Diana.

Diana appeared calm, suggesting she likely knew about it beforehand.

Although it's a bit of a shame to have missed out on such a good deal, their primary goal right now is to deal with the Judson family.

And Diana should be the one who is more heartbroken, right?

Thinking about it this way, my mindset became more peaceful.

Roland had investigated Charlotte's background. His grandfather was a member of the Elder Council of Calva, his parents were very famous doctors, and he almost became the city lord's son-in-law.

Roland believed that he had a capable elder.

He was persecuted by the Physicians' Association and ultimately had his magical abilities destroyed instead of being hanged. The fact that he was able to survive in the Abyss shows that he must have had someone protecting him.

"I'll keep in touch with Gabriel first. When the time is right, the three of us will meet again to confirm the final plan and try to settle everything before winter," Roland said to Diana with a serious expression.

"Before winter." Diana nodded solemnly.
